I had a local move , just 10 min up the street in houston/cypress ,…read moreand was trying to find the most efficient workers, who were also within budget and could help me pack up any boxes that I did not get to. What I loved was that their price was in the middle of all the ones that I called, but most importantly came with twice as many workers & they did not charge for packing up the boxes I did not get to! As of February 2026, H-town movers provided 4 movers for $155/hr , with a $120 one time fee that covered the truck & travel. That is all i was charged! (They have a minimum of 2 hrs, but anything after that, they only charge at 15 minute intervals). I provided the boxes, tape, and paper-- you can get their packaging packet, but I found all of my stuff cheaper & they used the kitchen towels, wash rags etc that i left out for them also! However, they do provide unlimited plastic wrap & moving blankets to wrap up all furniture. They were very careful packing up all my fragile items (large dresser mirrors, China plates, mugs etc). I was very relieved with their detail to that . They were extremely efficient (did not purposely "dilly dally" to rack up hours) and had a great attitude the entire time! I could hear them singing or telling jokes to each other, which helped relieve a little bit of my stress by creating such a pleasant atmosphere. They were also extremely kind with our toddler running around. I did not have to micromanage them at all. The only thing I did have to remind now and then was if a certain section was going in storage or to our new moving location. They did not charge for making 2 stops. At the first stop, they would ask where we wanted the box or furniture item, and they happily brought it to whichever location. They do not charge for stairs, which is nice. They were also extremely efficient in packing up the storage unit where we had a ton of space left over! i would highly recommend this company & their movers and I would definitely use them in the future! Having more hands on board at a very reasonable price helped get everything done in one day and in a shorter time span than I had anticipated!

I utilized the services of your company when our other movers failed to show up on 7/3/21. I…read morecontacted you around 9 am and We had three "Kids" show up around 11:00 am. Not a bad start right.. The problems started almost immediately when one of the young men complained that their back hurt so we did receive a minor discount for this inconvenience. We live in Arizona. It is very hot, they were not prepared, did not have masks or anything else ( we did not require them but if we did they were NOT prepared for that) and although we provided drinks for those helping us move, they complained it wasn't what they wanted. Whatever they're barely over 18 years old. I can understand water and gatorade and pizza isn't all they need or want. Now I figured three young men would be able to move.... boxes, Nope... multiple boxes were crushed and dropped. When they were moving furniture (a armoir for my son's room which weighs about 120lbs they damaged it as well as the drywall going down the stairs in 3 places. This was brought to the attention of the supervisor on 7/4/21 (When the young men were done loading the truck, they took everything to the storage unit and were released from there and since I was 5 months pregnant I did not climb the stairs, I found the damage late on 7/3/21 when we went to the home to continue packing) The three young men were at my home for SIX hours. They only managed to load 3/4 of a 20' truck. the initial 1/4 of the truck was loaded by my husband and a friend. When I contacted via text the supervisor of the three young men I was told that is what they have insurance for but it was a holiday and he would get back to me on 7/5/21. I never heard back. On 7/6/21 I texted him again, still not no response. I left on a business trip on that date and was not in an area where I could use my phone. You may ask why I am just now notifying your company. Right after the move, we lost my father in law, then two weeks later I went into pre term labor losing my son. I wanted to make sure that when I contacted your company I did not scream, yell or complain like a jerk as I work in the service industry and I also do not wish to be rude to anyone else. While I will admit there is a balance owed of less than $100, I did not feel I should have to pay this. Due to the no response, I had to hire a drywall guy to come out and fix the drywall and paint the area, The armoir and headboard that were damaged, are still damaged and I am awaiting a quote on

Scam of a business. Paid but never received ANY service (job was abruptly cancelled) and haven't…read morerefunded me any of my money. And seriously...payment thru Zelle? Get real. Still haven't heard from them and I moved the weekend of 7/29. Save your money and DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. There's a reason 3/3 of these reviews are horrible--bc this company is.
