They completely hacked at the main branches of our beautiful tree that provides shade and privacy from our neighbors. Last and the worst part is that I had to ask this man three times to stop cutting because I didn't want to be able to see into our neighbors barred windows. The house next door is an eyesore and the owners don't take care of it. So our tree provided privacy and covered all of that. Our windows look directly into that property. I told this man all of this before he started and I was assured that it would just be the smaller grown out branches from the structure. I had to ask him from my window to stop cutting because the branches were fine and had cleared that 5 foot rule. He didn't stop cutting, by the third time I have to ask you to do something you're going to get an ear full. Then the man has the audacity to say I'm just doing my job. Yeah, I know I hired you and I'm the one paying you. If I had asked you to come out and cut one singular branch off the tree that should be your job and nothing more. I thought I could handle the cleaning my self with a battery chain saw but then I noticed how difficult it was to cut a small branch so I gave up and decided to call a local tree service. They gave me a fair price to just cut and remove the broken tree trunk but I noticed my old large olive tree would be in risk of breaking again with the weight of new arrival olives growing, so they gave me a good deal by trimming the entire tree to even everything out. The entire crew arrived the next day Friday morning at 8am and worked very efficient. They cleaned every single branch on the floor made sure I was fully satisfied before charging.
