I was rear Ended 1 month ago and the car was a total Loss :(. It was an amazing and rare car and even as a total loss the insurance adjusted rated the car in .05% of ALL CARS in terms of valuation. Two days later after some reconditioning by Joe's team, i took deliver and was nothing less then EXTREMELY Satisfied with my new ride. Was searching for a Toyota Tacoma on Facebook Marketplace and came across an ad that had a nice looking 2005 extended cab Toyota Tacoma. The post said the truck was sharp looking but had a salvage title due to an accident to the bed of the truck but said was fixed and that there was no front end or engine damage. The truck looked nice and had relatively low miles (133, 000) and was well priced below market value,so I asked joe the one who posted it to give me the vin number so I could do a carfax report on it before I decided to head up to Burbank from San Diego where I live. Unfortunately he gave me the wrong vin number and when I told him that the info on the Carfax report didn't match what was on the original Facebook post, he realized he gave me the wrong vin number. So he gave me the right vin number and I got the Carfax report which reported 4 accidents with one being front end damage. Keep in mind the post only said the truck had been in only accident with bed damage . All the reports described minor damage and the truck had a one owner record with decent service records so I figured I would at least check the truck out and take it for a test drive. I rented a car here in San Diego and drove 2 hrs north to Burbank to check the truck out. When I arrived and checked the truck out it was nothing as described. The back bumper was bent down which he said was fixed. The paint looked like it was fading in areas, there was a super deep long scratch on the passenger side door panel, and the inside of the car was trashed! The carpets were extremely dirty, burn holes in the interior, and looked like somone had a bachelor party in there and forgot to clean it up the next day! Then the test drive, the car sounded and drove like crap. Thanks again joe for costing me $80 for the 2 carfax reports, $70 on the car rental to get up there from San Diego, and 6 hours out of my day to drive there and back, much appreciated Definitely not a "Sharp" looking truck as described in the original post. read more

Joe has given me incredible, above and beyond customer service. I recently bought a 2008 Toyota Prius from him. During the sale process, Joe was upfront, honest, patient and courteous, answering all my questions. I didn't have anyone available to help me drive the car to my house that day. I live about 15 minutes away, so he was actually willing to help me bring the car over! This is my first Prius so the next day when I drove it, I stupidly left something on without realizing it. The car wouldn't start and I couldn't figure out why. I called the shop and the answering machine went on. I didn't even bother to leave a message because it was past 5:30pm. I was so amazed and thankful that Joe actually called me back! I told Joe I couldn't start the car and after he suggested trying a few things and it still not working, he actually drove to where my car was (not too far, thankfully) and figured I needed to jump-start my car, which he did. Wow! What sales person would do that for you! He tested the car and made sure I knew how to properly turn on and off the car too! When I bought the car, he told me that if the car had any major problems, he wouldn't turn his back on me. He has remained true to his word! I'm sure he could make this kind of promise because he makes sure the cars he sells are in good shape. This is the first time I bought a used car and was honestly a little weary; but Joe has given me better customer service than I could find any place around.
