Very disappointing experience. We arrived around 7pm, and the place was nearly empty--only a table of two and a table of four occupied. The ambiance was quiet, but when we asked to have the curling game on (since we were watching it in our room), the waitress told us they couldn't because they lost the remote. She claimed changing the channel would affect all the TVs, but I'm not sure if that was the real reason. When we asked for a drink menu, we were told they no longer had one. The waitress didn't offer any alternatives or even mention what they had available. I just ordered a Rum and Coke and some beef nachos. The nachos were $20, but the beef was overcooked and tasted like it had been reheated from earlier. My mother-in-law's chicken Caesar salad also tasted old and rubbery. This is a place we've stayed at frequently, but after seeing issues from our last visit in October still unresolved (like a urinal covered with a garbage bag), it's clear they don't care about upkeep or quality. The waitress was okay, but that's about the only positive I can say. There are other, much better options nearby--save your time and money and go somewhere else. read more

We chose this restaurant because of its great location. It is near the Signature Sandman, Mississauga Hotel (across the street really). We were promptly greeted by a very sweet, young woman. The same woman became our waitress. She was extremely attentive, friendly, and able to answer all of our questions. The cocktails we ordered were good & served in a timely manner, but slightly overpriced. We ordered a "shareable platter." It had ribs, breaded wings, fries, & chicken tenders. PLENTY OF FOOD! We did not finish it. The taste was average, though. ** The olives in my dirty martini were very old and bruised. The lemon served as garnishment on my husband's bourbon and Coke was old/crusty and had no juice. read more

Before you order food check the price. I ordered the Chicken Kottu Roti thinking it was $14 to be delivered to my room. Which is right down the hall. Was told there was an extra $5 for the delivery which I was fine with. Got the bill and it was $28.25. The price on their online menu have not been updated in FIVE YEARS. Beware. Nestled next to a Comfort In , this bar and grill features around 8 beers on tap and a complete bar. We were seated immediately and our drinks came out almost immediately. Iced Tea - 7 Apparently all tea in Canada includes sugar so we looked like idiots ordering sweet tea. This had good sweetness but too much lemon as I don't like lemon in my tea. Maybe this is a Canada thing too? ? ? ? Poutine - 7 Cheese tasted like string cheese, the gravy was salty and didn't have much flavor. The fries were average at best. All together French Onion Soup - 7. String onion flavor in the broth but it was a bit on the thin side. Three pieces of bread soaked in the soup but no texture or flavor to it. There were pieces of onion but not a ton. Steam Whistle Pilsner - 8. Clean Pilsner with a touch of malt and little to no hops. It lacks the flavor of my favorite Pilsner from Fort Rock Brewing but is pretty tasty. Spearhead Brewing Hawaii's Style Pale Ale - 4. This is hoppy as hell with a hint of fruit. I'm not a hop hound so I may be in the minority here. There is a light fruity flavor buried in the barrel of hops if that's your thing. Decent place to stop and get some grub. I imagine the late night appeal is what this place is about. read more

This place was a great surprise. Usually restaurants attached to hotels are mediocre at best, but the quality of food was excellent, the service impeccable. Our waiter, Sham, couldn't have been more attentive or helpful. When I saw all the staff was Indian, I determined to order Indian. Sham helpfully explained the menu and kept checking back to make sure we were happy. I was thrilled with my shrimp tandoori, and my husband was so content with his meat loaf, mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables. Excellent all round! Thank you, Sham, for a lovely meal. read more

I bought a Groupon a while back for lunch for two but four of us ending up going and splitting the bill. When we arrived, the restaurant wasn't that busy. We all ordered off the lunch menu because the prices seemed reasonable. My two friends and I all had burgers with cheese and bacon and a side of fries which were amazing. Fresh (not boxed) meat, good quality and grilled to perfection. The bun to burger ratio was right on point and I recall they used brioche buns. My other friend ordered some really spicy chicken wrap. She didn't care for it too much because she said it was drenched in Frank's Red Hot. The complaints I have are, while the service was very friendly, it was slow. While the meals were reasonably priced, the soft drinks and side gravies were overpriced. Having said that, I would still return as the burgers were awesome. read more

The service was fine and quick...the meal was not even mediocre as someone else mentioned; my French Onion Soup came microwaved with a slice of processed cheese on top, not melted or browned and included a twig/stick in the bowl. It was then attempted to make me believe that it was a 'cinnamon stick', in French Onion Soup??? The chef(lol) even came from the kitchen with his dirty self, wearing slides, sporting a shirt I'm sure he slept in for the last week, with apparent boogers/rock snots hanging from his nostril hairs to show me two pieces of cardboard, and what appeared to be pieces of that same cardboard cut into strips stating 'it's just a spice we use', yet was unable to identify the 'spice'...spoiler, it looked nothing like cinnamon, nor any spice that could be goggled following a variety of descriptives for 'twig like spice used in onion soup' , nor was I allowed to handle the object when requested. The Chicken Caesar was wilted, and rusted....and if I was a betting person, would say the chicken was also microwaved, don't know as after finding the tree in my soup did not touch the salad. After the arrival of the chef, my dinner companion was unable to continue his meal of Burger and Fries; by his account, the fries were excellent, however the burger was very dry. On the upside, we were not charged for the uneaten meals, the drinks were great, Spicy Caesar, and Corona with lime, and the service was pleasant....needless to say, I will not be returning and should've followed my gut instinct on arrival noting only one active table service on a Friday evening. So I came home and was to lazy to cook so I ordered delivery. I didn't want to go for the same old so I looked for somewhere new and came across this place. Right off the back the menu was eye catching. Great variety for the picky person who can't find something. Pros: Must try is the Cajun Calamari surprisingly really good. Great crispy texture, nice flavor and good portion. The tzatiki sauce is homemade and really good. The chicken fingers are not oily or overly battered. Nice flavor and good portion size. Having the rice is a nice option and change than fries. Omg! The Dutch apple cheesecake is amazing!!! Great flavour, size and not to sweet. You have to try this!!! Cons: Sesame Salmon was dry and over cooked. The teriyaki sauce couldn't even help it. Steamed veggies were good. Smoked bbq chicken ceaser salad was over dressed and soggy. As well not much chicken. It has good points and bad points but over all give it a try they don't disappoint. read more

I went for the first time a couple of weeks ago and was very impressed with the food and service. I have returned twice more. It's a great place for breakfast with family. The quality of the food is very good and the service is very attentive. I also like the variety of choices that are available. Another plus is that it is very accessible for my mother who uses a walker. read more

Let me start by saying I have never left a review for any restaurant. That's how bad this experience was. This was a Skip The Dishes order. The Meat Lover's arrived with 2 sausages, 2 piecces of bacon, and 2 pieces of lunch meat Ham, and NO home fries... For a "grill house" they have precious few grilled items. Many standard greasy pub meal items and didn't care for the atmosphere.

We went twice recently and both times had a great experience. The service was great. Sham, who was our server on our second visit, did an excellent job trying to accommodate a large group of 20+ without a reservation, which did cause a bit of a back up in the kitchen. We stayed at the adjoining hotel the night before leaving for Jamaica. We were a group of 6. We ate at Jc's twice, for supper and for breakfast . Sham was our waiter both times, and was fantastic. He was quick to take our order and made sure to keep our drinks flowing. The supper was delicious and the breakfast was even better. We asked if they served something on their menu and they didn't, but they made it specially for our group. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to have great food and service!
