I stopped in over the weekend to shop for more work clothes. I had issues finding dress pants with beltloops and in my size. Other than that, I was able to find a ton of new work shirts (probably more than I needed)! They finally had one dressing room open in the women's active section. I believe there were three rooms. Because they did not have all of there dressing rooms open a line began forming. There were a ton of clearance racks which I was able to find a few items on. Upon checkout I was greeted by Brenda. She was very friendly and sociable. She offered me a store credit card to obtain a discount which I declined. We ordered a mattress $1200 after our purchase was completed the sales person Deanna tells us that "Hub Group" will be delivering our purchase. She immediately tells us if this company gives you any problems here's my #. Hub Group contacted us to choose a del dat & states we'd receive a call 40 minutes prior to delivery. We waited ALL day & no delivery came, no communication from Hub Group either. I had to call them 3 different times after no delivery on promised additional dates, each time was given a different excuse for why our purchase was not made . I called Deanna several times and was promised the delivery will be made on ....date and never came and again Deanna called and said for sure on this date. Needless to say none of this ever came to fruition hub group would not respond to us at all. We canceled our order and Deanna had the nerve to respond to my informing her. We had canceled the order. Well that's too bad. I only hope you can get as great a deal as you had with us. There is no deal if you can't get what you've paid for. They really don't sell quality items. Not sure if they ever did or I'm just now noticing.

It was an ok Pennys. I ordered 4 of something, and they sent three.. Fortunately I was not taking those items, so it did not matter. However had I been waiting for those items that can only be purchased online...I would have been unhappy. This mall is 30 minutes from where I love and not a place I would spend the day. It just speaks volumes about Pennys if the fulfillment center does not have a check and balance system to make sure orders are filled properly. I also asked about something that I had seen at Macy's, They had the "basic " version of this item, but did not have any others, and the additional items that came with the upgraded item were not there. Again Penny's, if you offer something, it just makes you look lower scale to not even OFFER other options. How are you going to upsell. Staff was nice, and equally shocked when I pulled up several stores on my phone that had different items they did not. The staff here was very nice, but honestly, Penny's you need to do better. (Oh I did get a Liz purse for 25% off!, and the girls at the counter loved it!! lol. ). read more

I shop here frequently. Admittedly, you may have to invest some time browsing to find what you need. I rarely see associates on floor offering assistance, but the cashiers are very pleasant and helpful. Get the most value combining coupons with sale prices; get on their mailing list. You can find great deals in clearance sections too. read more

My daughter needed some jeans and my wallet needed a break. I figured I would try JCP's as its now called. The experience was better than I expected. This store is part of Marley Station Mall (a mall that has seen better days) and even though the mall gets some bad reviews I like it. There is plenty of parking and you can get in and get out without a problem or too much crowds. Now getting back to this store. It is clean and had a good selection of jeans for my daughter. The employees were helpful but don't go crazy this isn't Nordstom. However, the best thing about this store is the prices. I was able to purchase two pairs of jeans and a tee shirt and still had money for a father-daughter lunch. Whoopee. read more

RECEIVED THE WORST SERVICE AT THE PORTRAITS! I was barely 8 min late for the appointment. I am 9 months pregnant and that lady was so rude. She decided to take a break because I was 8 min late. I searched everywhere for her, talked to various employees but she was MIA taking a break when she's supposed to work. At least have some respect. Stay in your work area so if customers are late (they don't mean to be late...but sometimes things happen!!!!), they can find you!! She made me wait for 45 min and then still didn't take my pictures. 9 months pregnant and drove 40 minutes for this piece of **** service! read more

I'm writing as a customer of the JC Penney "professional" photos that were taken. I use professionally loosely. Now, I was not expecting a world renowned photographer, but I was expecting someone that wasn't just going through the motions when my 2 year old was posing for pictures. The "photographer's" energy...negative energy was palpable. You could see it in my daughters expression and demeanor. Our photographer was so unexcited...it showed in my daughter's pictures. She literally snapped one picture with the hair in my daughter's eyes and didn't re-snap another picture with the same pose--minus the hair in eye. She didn't even mention the hair! She asked my daughter to get in positions like on her stomach with her hands behind her head, but asked it in a very unanimated way. Visualize a robot with no emotion or expression saying, "lay on your back with your hands behind your head". It was crazy. I am truly disappointed and will just pay the extra money for an actual photographer that cares about the pictures they take. I really wanted to be excited about the pictures, but instead, I'm super disappointed. My husband and I were excited and animated, but my daughter sees that all the time. The photographer needed to put in more effort. Period. I would try another JC Penney location. read more

I've had terrible service lately at the Glen Burnie location. Sales representative's are rude and lazy. I placed an order on October 8, 2017 and as of today hasn't shipped and still processing, which no one can give an explanation on why it's taken 12 days lost in translation. I've asked for a refund but won't be credited for 3-5 days. Haven't you had my money long enough for an order still processing? My review is based on our experience at the photo studio. We scheduled an appointment for my toddler son & our session started right on time! My son wasn't "cooperating", but the ladies were extremely patient & sweet to him! They made him laugh long enough to get some great pictures! I would definitely recommend this location. read more

I used to love this jcpenny's. Well the last 3 times I came here I was disappointed. They have hardly any clothes in my daughters size... I mean anything for girls between 2t and 5t! Now today I went there and it was a disaster! First they had 3 rows of clearance where the toddler/ baby clothes normally are. I love digging through clearance for good deals BUT this was horrible. It was baby toddler kids and adult ALL mixed together couldn't even go by the tag on the top of the hangers bc they were on the wrong hangers... quickly I gave up on that and went to find something to use a $10 off $10 on. Literally couldn't even find anything to buy for a long time bc it was so mixed up. At one point, I was walking to the register and stopped to look at a middle rack... I couldn't even get to the other side of the rack bc it wasn't in the middle... literally had 1 foot maybe between that and a pole! Terrible terrible experience! I will go to kohl's next time. Disappointingly I had placed an online order for in store pick up since they didn't even offer free shipping to home with a & 84 order! Saturday 8-11-18 our Samsung Refrigerator was delivered. 2-1/2 days later Tues Eve I noticed nothing was cold. Wed morn we both took off work throughout all food purchased Sat (160.00) and started calling JCP & Samsung who throughout the day blamed each other. We spoke with Tiffany in appliances & the very unhelpful General Mgr. Besu Isileshi who stated over and over we had only 48 hours (til Monday) to return it. They advised me to call Samsung, after 5 hours on and off the phone there was no resolution. I Called JCP back spoke to GM said nothing he can do past return allowance. IT IS NOT A RETURN YOU SOLD LME A DEFECTIVE REFRIG. IT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. Samsung wantS to send a repair man. Why would I repair a new refrig. REPLACE IT. We both lost a days work making calls all day, lost all my food with NO RESOLUTION. Found out there is a class action lawsuit going on right now that this his happening all over.
