Really disappointed that this company dropped the ball with my return. Filed my taxes with them on 3/2/22. They emailed me and told me they were having trouble opening the documents. I emailed it a different way and called them the next business morning to pay what I owed for the service and was told they would be sent out on Friday. I emailed them today 3/28 and was told it was never sent out because they still couldn't open the documents but they never called or emailed me to tell me that. read more

Had an appointment on March 12,2022 at 7 pm with John received a email confirmation that said if I needed to cancel to do in 2 days. Showed up to my appointment at 6:45 left my 9 month old with a baby sitter and by 7:30 I was not see by John nor was I told by his reception that he was running late. I worked for a CPA office in Irvine and we booked appointments by income. We would booked for hour and had a 30 min buffer as a just in case the appointment ran over. If they knew this person was going to take long they should've gave them a longer appointment time. John never reached back out to offer his apologies or anything. Worst tax Service ever would not use them ever again. At the end of our 2016 tax filling she took both me and my wife's drivers licenses and still put my first as my last name and misspelled my wife's name and but my first name as her last name. Needless to say my wife is in collage now her financial aid is being suspended due to this error. We should have took our time and looked closely but we figured these people have been in business for years they should not make any mistakes especially such a big one we were wrong. JCH TAX GROUP MESSED UP MY TAXES, DO NOT GET YOUR TAXES DONE HERE, these people mailed my 1040 to the wrong irs address and caused me 4-6 weeks delay and headache, very rude people I have never felt so embarrassed or disappointed in a business. I put my trust in them to handle my taxes professionally but they did not do that at all and did not address my issues. A lot of my questions to them about simple tax questions were "I don't know" or "I'm not sure" they obviously don't know what they are doing over there. I would definitely NOT recommend this place. They are not interested in helping you, they only care about collecting their over priced fees. Very unprofessional service needs better customer service and communication. read more

If I ask questions they answer them in a way where I understand it. I finally have a tax family I can go to and feel like I can call them. Their secretary today was helpful too! I would agree with some of the Reviews. Friendliness is nice, However competence is even more important. I had been using John Hadjis for several years when, what seemed like, pretty simple questions couldn't be answered. As I became suspicious, I hired a real CPA (not just a tax preparer) to review my previous two years returns. What he found were major mistakes throughout the past returns. These mistakes cost me thousands of dollars. I am now refiling these returns and hopefully can recoup this money owed me. No returned phone calls or response from Hadjis. Bottom Line: Competency matters most when hiring in a technical profession. read more
