If you've ever been to a Pressed Cafe (yes, just one), you may be forgiven to assume they're all…read moremostly alike. This review is to tell you otherwise. Some are much larger (like this one). Some are drive-thru only (like the one near my house). I'm gonna talk about the former real quick. Naturally, the menu is basically the same. On this day, I was having lunch. Ergo, I opted to try the Chipotle Short Rib & Egg burrito (as a bowl because I'm a man of culture) accompanied with a cup of chowdah. I must say...I expected there to be a bit more flavor, what - with the Chipotle sauce n' all. Alas, I had to add my own salt. This is mostly a nitpick, but really...can we please season our beef? Just a lil bit even? So, the biggest difference you'll notice at this location is the parking situation. It's....annoying. Because on the one hand, you technically have ample amounts of spaces to park in. Or...you WOULD, if not for the signs en masse that read "[insert corporate company name here] parking only - all violators will be towed at owner's expense." I find this hilarious because I feel like that would be impossible to enforce for folks parking less than 10 minutes to pick up an order like I did. So, I guess my pro tip of the day would be: feel free to park wherever at your own risk if and ONLY if you're getting take-away. If you're actually dining in, I suppose you'll have to wait painstakingly for one of the few parking spots actually designated for Pressed specifically to open. By the way, if you're picking up a take-away order, the take-out shelf is smack dab next to their side entrance opposite the side where you would normally order your food. It's one of those "blink once and you'll miss it" type things the first time visiting. From my vantage point, this place stays quite busy. Not surprising, considering the Burlington area in general. Clearly, a lot of folks come here mid-work day which is also the only reason I came here to begin with. Overall, not a bad lunch stop, though the parking can be slightly obnoxious. I'm giving Pressed Cafe in Burlington 4 Chipotle Short Rib bowls dubiously seasoned out of 5.

I got the razzmatazz smoothie, and I was the only person in line, and it took 15 minutes to make my smoothie. My smoothie also took two workers to make which I was surprised at, I think it actually made it slower - the law of diminishing marginal returns was at play here. Very slow service in terms of smoothie-making but staff was decently friendly. My smoothie was just okay but super overpriced for the quality.

I went to pickup my order but there were no workers and it looked like the store was abandoned even thought everywhere else was open in the mall and the mall was crowded. I love a vegetarian restaurant that has AMPLE vegan options! I have always had an excellent meal here and there are a few items on the menu I really enjoy. My go-to recently has been the Buddha Bowl and iced golden milk (aka haldi doodh, lol), but I also really like the spicy peanut noodles and the chili garlic noodles. My husband (vegetarian) really likes the bibimbap. Once this place opened, I completely forgot about Clover's existence. The interior is super warm and inviting and I genuinely could sit in there for hours (but I don't.) Unfortunately, I have to knock off a star because the last two times I went in there it was kind of dirty - floor hadn't been swept (it was also a slow time at the restaurant with not many customers), bathroom was missing soap, etc. On another occasion, the chopsticks that arrived with a noodle dish looked a little smudgy so I didn't use them. I haven't been back for a while, but I hope they have been able to pick up the dining areas more routinely.

Also, the only restroom is located in the public area of the building. 1 restroom, for both men and women. There was a line 6 people long. Totally inadequate. Also, the employee didn't tell me the code to get into the restroom, so I had to return to the restaurant to get it. Very inconvenient. Worst of all: a male employee was discussing sex with a female employee. I don't think he knew I was in the room. It was utterly shocking and completely inappropriate. At about 5pm, 6/19/25
