!!!!!! be aware, be aware be aware !!!! Go somewhere else Unfortunately, my experience with this salon was very disappointing. I came in for a hair color service, and the final result was poorly done and did not match the agreed-upon color. The application was uneven and lacked attention to detail. When I addressed my concerns, there was little effort to correct the issue. Overall, the service did not meet professional standards, and I would not recommend this salon for hair color services. read more

Front desk lady!! Very rude no customer service whatsoever,no cc accepted, checks made out to them double deposited and checks lost or misplaced by them. I had to call the bank numerous times on my vacation just cause they lost the check and drove back to their facility to re- write the check... prices went over the roof. 50% increase.. read more

This place is horrible first they charge so much and they are so rude I went to go and get a hair cut and to go and dye my hair first they applied the bleach like if was shampoo and then they dyed my hair and missed a chuck of hair I didn't notice when I was there but when I got home I did and I called and they said that they could not fix it because I Left the store and if I did want to fix it they would charge me again DON'T GO HERE read more

I was never really picky with my hair cut because I never got an amazing job..except for one person from the Tomo Tomo Salon, but I do not know where she went!!! So I decided to just search one on yelp and just go to it and I so happened found this one. I love my hair cut. I had Samantha, and she did exactly what I wanted without even me saying much. I know I never had that much expectations with hair cuts, but this one blew me away. I will definitely be going back for my routine cuts. I actually am able to say I have a favorite hair dresser! :) I definitely recommend this place! read more

Irma is my go to girl, I don't let anybody else touch my hair. She knows exactly how to give me what I ask for. It can be pricey, but your hair is something you want to invest in. It's usually cash only so be prepared. read more

Love this place after the entire staff left JayZee in Lynwood I had searched for the staff for months and I'm glad I found them they do my hair like no other place .Gabby is my hair dresser I also like how Lulu works I always get compliments on my hair she does my highlights just the way I like them white :) Will continue to come here and will recommend everyone that ask where I got my hair done :)) . read more

Worst place I have ever gone. I got my hair done by Juan Carlos. Asked for an ombré it was clearly not an ombré not anything close to it as a matter of fact. The color did not fade it went from one color to another. I had to go to another salon to get my hair fixed. If you guys want great looking hair go to style n beauty in Norwalk. read more

I got my hair done yesterday and I left the salon feeling like a million bucks. I got hair extension and colored my hair, the color matched the extensions to the T, and thus far I have gotten so many compliments and it looks absolutely natural. Juan Carlos did an amazing job at blending in so that it flows even though my natural hair is shoulder length and the extesions are about 4 inches above my waist, i am extremely happy and forget about it he is very fair with the price. read more

Juan Carlos is amazing! But the staff have HORRIBLE customer service skills. On multiple occasions, I have walked into the salon and was pretty much ignored, not even a smile or a greeting for at least 10 minutes. I have also been bumped from my appointment for a walk-in. I've sent friends and family to JC, and they have all had the same experience. As exceptional as he is, I'm almost certain to return to JayZee in Lynwood. read more

I absolutely love this place! I highly recommend it. I've known this hairstylist and all his professional crew for over 10 years, and I wouldn't trade them for anyone else. Irma is my hairstylist she is the best followed by her brother Juan he is also a very talented hair styler. I Came here to get my hair done with Irma. She did an amazing job after going to another place that completely burned my hair. Irma was great in fixing it and treating my hair. She didn't only fix someone else's dirty work but she also made me feel better emotionally. I don't know what I would have done if she wouldn't have helped me! He takes many customers at a time. He had like 4 customers. He kept asking customers to move chairs to make space for others. No personal service at all. My appointment was at 12:30pm and he didn't sit me on the hair until 1pm. My mom asked for a root retouch up for a light brown color and he put a red/orange color on her roots. He moved her chairs 4 times and when she was at the washing station, he left her there for a hour while he was blow drying other customers hair. He didn't put any conditioner or heat protector when drying my mom's hair. He quickly dried her hair to rush to wash other customer's hair. He didn't even show my mom the final look. She had to ask for a mirror. When she mentioned the color was not brown he just said well your blonde. My mom has dark brown hair in roots! She is not blonde. She left the salon with orange stains on her forehead and ears. Overall, terrible service! I will never go back!!

I texted twice yesterday to confirm -- at 12:22 PM and 6:10 PM. By 9:00 PM with no response, I assumed the appointment was forgotten or canceled. She eventually responded at nearly midnight, which I didn't see until morning, effectively canceling the appointment. I understand her reason for canceling, but what I don't understand is the lack of communication -- a quick text takes a minute. Booking this appointment was already frustrating due to delayed or no responses, & the last-minute message makes me feel like she wasn't even planning to reach out. I truly liked her work & wanted to remain loyal, which makes this extremely disappointing. I'll unfortunately be looking for a new stylist & a new salon.
