There are tons of mechanics; yet around the water cooler, your peers are still asking "do you have…read morea good/trusted mechanic?" Unfortunately mechanics are relegated to up-selling; just the nature of the trade, at the expense of a general public that doesn't know a great deal about automobiles. Julian, while being very family-orientated, completely changes the narrative with his approach centered around his Client. After having my car stop on me the day before, I had the decision of towing to a general public me mechanic, the ones mentioned earlier on every corner, but I still texted my circle about a "trusted" mechanic to which nobody can confidently recommend. I came across JM on Yelp and Facebook. Without many reviews, but a focus on his family in his photos, I can just feel I was getting someone honest. After towing to my house, JM is a mobile mechanic, so he makes the trek to where his client is, hailing from Miramar myself, Julian trekked from homestead to diagnose my car. In fact, fighting through an extra hour of traffic that couldn't be accounted for. While I had reservation of him being able to work so late in the evening, Julian was right at home from his remote office; pitch black, during a light shower no less, Julian began probing and tampering to diagnose and find a solution. After him and I proved our hypothesis of needing a new starter solenoid, Julian went to his "office" and started chasing the right product and proceeded to handle the repair under a couple hours while I was able to stay in my living room. Adaptability was on display, when for some reason a manufacturer solenoid was not fitting correctly; resilient and creative, him and I were on the same page to file down the metal border for it to work. Sure enough, after an extra hour of labor, the car was running great. Highly recommend anybody to check him out; while I don't hope to see him a lot; I am thankful I have someone trusted I can rely on when the eternally inconvenient auto repair rears it's ugly head again. I received a call from them a day after the repair to make sure everything went well, again a very committed group to their clients.

Older Jeeps can be challenging to work on, but JP took the time to diagnose problems correctly instead of just replacing parts and hoping for the best. What really sets him apart is his communication. He keeps me updated throughout the process, explains what he's doing and why, and makes sure I understand my options before moving forward. It's clear he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about doing the job right. The quality of his workmanship has been outstanding. Whether it's electrical troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, or custom work, everything has been done professionally and with attention to detail. As someone who's putting a lot of time and effort into restoring my YJ, it's a huge relief to have a mechanic I can trust. If you're looking for someone who's honest, experienced, dependable, and truly passionate about what they do, JP is the person to call. I'll definitely be bringing my Jeep back for future work, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

This place is an absolute scam. I brought my car here for repairs and it was one of the worst…read moreexperiences I've ever had with any mechanic. They demonstrated almost no actual mechanical knowledge -- maybe they do body work, but real repairs? Not at all. Two men told me they "didn't know how" to insert a key into the trunk to open it, which already made me question their credibility. Things got worse from there. Several items were stolen out of my vehicle, including my Apple Watch, AirPods Max, and a computer monitor. When I confronted them, they denied everything and pretended they had no idea what I was talking about. They also claimed my tow company had cut my driver seatbelt -- which is impossible, considering I watched the tow company load my inoperable car without ever entering it. Later, the mechanic attempted to "fix" the seatbelt and ended up disassembling it even further. They pressured me for money upfront to "order parts," even though you normally don't pay until work is completed. I paid because they insisted they would work with me. When I went to pick up my car after they claimed it was done, my car suddenly had transmission issues that it never had before. I specifically asked them to check major components of the car for damage, and they told me everything was fine. After repeatedly calling, the mechanic, Jairo Perez, barely wanted to answer my calls and kept my car an extra two days, doing nothing useful. I ultimately had to take my car to a legitimate repair shop -- where they confirmed that none of the work Jairo claimed to have done was actually completed. This place is unprofessional, dishonest, and should not be trusted with anyone's vehicle. I would strongly recommend avoiding this shop at all costs. If I could, 0 stars. Oh and beware as a lady, you will be approached with flirting multiple times whether through text or call by them.

I came in simply to have my wife's tire patched after she picked up a screw in the tread. Mebco was completely different. They were friendly, honest, reasonably priced, and had the repair completed very quickly. There was no attempt to turn a simple repair into the sale of a new tire--just straightforward, professional service.
