Anywho, Just Tires was super busy on this particular Friday evening and I was informed to wait 2-hours. Thankfully, they have some stuff to entertain you with, including a TV in the waiting room showing Big Bang Theory, coffee, and if anything, free Wi-Fi so you can mindlessly scroll for hours as you wait. I was informed that I did indeed have a nail in my tire. Unfortunately, I had to replace two of the tires, as the tires were stock as was more bald than Mr Clean. The technician was nice enough to show me the nail and after figuring out which tire to get, I was out the door in no time. All-in-all, decent enough service, with no huge pressure to upcharge me.

To the point that when I needed a new radiator on 1996 Ford E150 hightop conversion van I called around and started asking pricing. It was the first time I called Bullet. I called because I used to work across them at what used to be a Shell Gas Station (which at this date is now being rebuilt into another business) Well, when I received their quote OVER THE PHONE mind you, I was extremely and pleasantly surprised. Still, I went ahead and called other repair shops. When I called one other shop and told them the quote Bullet was giving me the guy on the other line was "If you can get it done for that cheap, do it...I cant beat, match or come close to that.." Well, I went ahead and had the van repaired. Took a few days (mainly my fault since work schedule conflicted) but still..amazing job. I have since then stayed true to this shop. I've had tune up, brakes, brake lines being the most recent, among with other things done at their shop...And I tell you...because of their pricing and their real honesty they have a costumer for life. Unfortunately, the dealership that sits in the same lot is nothing but a thieving, rip off of a place...I would first buy a car from a junkyard than from them....nothing but liars and scheming Aholes.... Sad to see how such a great business like Bullet has to sit besides such a garbage place...I guess its the Ying and Yang...

Fox Valley VW Dealer was ridic on the estimate so of course, thrifty shopper that I am, I got the skinny from them and started checking out my options. I'm defo about ambiance and upkeep... clean car interiors matter FYI... but I digress. So... old office chairs and TBS playing 70s shows... this dude did not greet me when I came in, and i stood looking at him looking at the monitor for 2 minutes... So I ask if he was the person I spoke to on the phone and if i can get my Beetle looked at... and he responds (without looking up) "yes, but I'm in the middle.of something... so if you take a seat..." Yeah. Waiting is not my fave hobby. But I do... and check in on Yelp... so he prolly regretted that action cuz I foiled his quote for 4x 18" tires at $1500.. uhh a 2007 Saturn AWD is not a Bugatti... I redirected the dude to get some online (Tire Rack.com) for $605 including shipping. Back to Mike... after trying to assess my level of knowledge RE antennas... waste of another 10 minutes, he decided he couldn't fix my antenna (like I was gonna do biz after that Schyster deal on tires I saw... no wonder he got mad at me talking about that to the guy)... but referred me to someone by Mariano's... like I would go anywhere on HIS recommendation.
