Ordered a Mcloud master clutch cylinder. Ad showed the product comes with the adjustment rod and rod end. Due to the false advertising the adjustment rod and rod end were not included. I paid for overnite delivery cause I needed the part. The scam company tells me I can return it but with their policy I lose the shipping fee and have to pay to ship it back. Do not i repeat do not go to yhe westend jb s power center for anything very pour work done an a brand new truck. $6000 IN STEREO equipment won't warenty there work an its because I refuse to have my truck away from me for days on end. Only to have the same result. The stereo sounds like it's on the air ... there's a buying noise and the bass cuts off.. I do t know what it is but looks like a law suit. Very disappointed in there shorty work. The shop manager is very quick with his mouth to sell more more. The stero sounds worse than the factory one that was in there In the beginning. Horrible. I'm in a wheelchair chair and live 4 hours away. So to take my truck in and leave it for days on end isn't posable. So they now won't warenty the work. So looks like law suit time. i brought my truck in for electrical work & to see if they could fix my transmission. after they had done the wiring for my lights i was told the mechanic wasnt comfortable opening my tranny, fine. i picked my truck up with new wiring for lights, same tranny issue. the same day i picked up my truck i broke my leg and was hospitalized. my truck never left my driveway and was locked the entire time. i went into my truck once the pain was tollerable and found that my steering column plastic had broken clips all around and wasnt able to be put back together, my face piece for the dashboard also not clipped in because clips were broken. i called the store and because i am coming to them after the fact they won't fix it. i used to praise this place, keep your vehicle away as the integrity of this store has been broken. thanks for taking my money and giving my truck back incomplete read more

First off: wires were not cut to short, if you had the proper tools for the job that wouldn't be an issue. Wires were removed as the were installed, so that they can slide out easily. Doing this makes for a cleaner install because holes can be made smaller and you attach bigger part after its ran through. Second: You said wires were lengthened, what wires? Take note of pictures to see none were lengthened, as well take note of how unprofessional the work looks that was done at your business, if you had proper tools this type of job electrical tape wouldn't need to be used like it was. I provided picture of tool needed for this type of work. Thirdly: unit was bench tested but would not stay powered up, as you can see from posted video it powers up just fine, just like it did before I brought it to you guys. And update I did on the system two days before I brought it to get installed can be proven as well. Fourth: Rick your technician called manufactures line to trouble shoot. Did you get the name of person he talked too? When I return to pick my jeep up that day I asked if I took this system some place else and concluded there was nothing wrong with unit, would I get a refund because that would prove it was an error on JB auto techs inexperience of installing the unit, I was told no! why should I have had to pay for the lack of knowledge of staff. I was billed for trouble shooting and time ect! How about my time? time it took me to drop my jeep off, to only have to pick it up and drop it off to another place in order to get job done right. How should I invoice JB's for my time, because my time is valuable too? To make things worse one of your employees tried to sale me another unit like I already had. After finding out that my unit work perfectly fine and than and after what I was told at your location, I feel as though your business tried to scam me out of money and buy making a quick sale, I have provided lots of proof your business was at fault and nothing is wrong with my equipment. It just seems odd that unit worked and was updated 2 days before being in your location, once at your location doesn't work, when its no longer in your location it works again. I am welling to come to your location to prove you were at fault but it would cost you the refund of my $250. read more

Contacted JB in Calgary North for a headlight install. Was quoted $297.80 taxes in "No surprises" for HID supply and install. "Shouldn't take more than an hour". After more than 2 hours later (first surprise) I was told I need a resistor installed (2nd) and it will now be $310.00 (3rd surprise). I opted for the LED instead for an extra $1 over the HID lights if it can be done now. Was told it would be done now and that they would work with the cost. My truck sat outside another 1/2 hour (4th surprise as I was told it would be done now). I was getting fed up and was about to walk out but thought the better price would be good and decided to stay. I pushed them to get it done and the truck went in right away and 15 minutes later it was done... After waiting 2-1/2 hours!!. Time to pay the bill. The price reduction at the till was a whole $1! (5th surprise!). On the receipt I noticed later was a charge for $105 for backorder. What the hell is a back order charge?(6th and final surprise). I would never recommend these clowns for anything. Get it in writing and have them eat any extra surprises! Never going back and will tell everyone I know to avoid this business like the plague. read more

Came in for buying headlight bulbs, sales representatives were cold, unwelcoming, and not happy to help and, actually, absolutely brutal customer service. There were many uniform guys wondering about, only one behind the counter who was socializing with a friend or (old customer?)! I waited for a long time and their chat seemed endless! ignoring me stand just behind! In the end, I had no way other than interrupt that long chat! No said sorry or anything and just said: I was helping him! while I was seeing that long chitchat! Then they gave me the wrong model headlight bulbs! I noticed when I left the store. I came back and told the problem, then gave me the right one. Again, when I came back home, I noticed the receipt they gave me was the return and refund receipt! and not the purchase receipt! Now, what if I need to use the guarantee within one year warranty period?! Should I drive back to the store again just for the wrong receipt they gave me?!! read more

If this was the last place on earth I would not go here. They put in a starter and now my vehicle won't start with or without the key. We've gone back three times and they've done nothing to fix it just keep unhooking and hooking it up. Just got my command start installed here, they completely messed up my wiring in my truck and also told me they did not engage my emergency break (which you don't on automatic vehicles for this install) but yet my breaks were all seized completely and told me that it was a weird coincidence. Don't recommend coming here unless you plan to install yourself. read more

These guys are as good as it gets. They installed an alarm and remote start in a new 92 Forerunner for me. I had some problems with it not working right this year. Took it back to JBs. Not only did they take it in right away and fix it in about an hour, they did it for no charge. They said they recognised the unit and more particularly the unique style of install as being theirs from that era. Apparently all of their installs carry a LIFETIME install guarantee. I didn't remember the lifetime guarantee and I didn't even have the original invoice any more. I was already happy they could fix it and I didn't need to spend a grand getting it removed and a new one installed. Twenty One, yes 21, years later and they still stand behind their work, when they could have easily charged me and said nothing. I wouldn't have know. Terrible Shift Manager I purchased some LED OEM replacement bulbs at $20 each for my tail lights in March. By June, all four lamps had half of their diodes burned out. I attempted to return them to JB's for a refund, as I had already purchased and installed new ones from superbrightleds.com that are better, brighter and actually guaranteed to work. The manager at JB's(taller, skinny blonde guy) refused to do anything other than exchange them under warranty for new ones. I explained that I already have new, reliable ones. Why would I want these ones replaced with the exact same thing that will again burn out in two months. LEDs are supposed to last longer and look better. That's the point of them. These ones burned out and look like garbage after two months. I said, "No, I just want a refund on these" and he said "Well, we don't issue refunds after 14 days on anything electronic" Even after I pointed out that, in the very near future, I am going to be ordering a Spyder Industries headache rack & bedrails and a BakFlip tonneau cover, and that the fate of those purchases being made at JB's relies solely on how this transaction goes, he still refused to do absolutely anything about returning the lights unless I wanted to exchange them for the same thing. He clicked away on his computer for a few minutes, while I stood there. Silly me, I thought he was looking up information on the lights. After a while, he looked up at me from his computer and asked "So... do you want to warranty them...?" This guy just let a $3000(at least) sale plus future business from me and people I know go out the door, for the sake of an $80.00 return on something that they would simply send back to the manufacturer for a credit and would not lose any money on. If your products are so inferior that you need to hide behind a "No returns after 14 days" policy, perhaps you should consider sourcing from distributors elsewhere other than China. Telling your customers that you absolutely refuse to do anything to help them out is not a good business model and it no longer surprises me when I hear people talk shit about JB's Power Centre. I went with an exhaust kit, cold air intake and a programmer... which they were able to install same day! Don't ever order online and try to get your part delivered to one of the location thinking it will be quicker. I get a call from the store asking if I ordered a part online (from JBspowercenter), they already seem confused about the order, guy says he has the paperwork but doesn't see the part. Then he's like ok here it is, so I tell him great i'll be by to pick it up after work. So after work I drive all the way there and the staff has no clue what is going on, they seem surprised that you can even order parts online. He thinks I ordered from some other company. I show him the reciept and he looks at the computer for a second and says "I don't see anything" so he just kind of stand there looking at me hoping ill just walk away. I explain to him I was told my part is here and I was told to pick it up. He seems reluctant to help me because he's busy eating his snack. So he eventually goes into the back and then comes out and says he doesn't see anything, than says "sorry dude, come back tomorrow" so I walk out of there empty handed even though my part is for sure on the shelf 10 feet away, he just doesn't have the sense to find it or maybe call a manager or SOMETHING to get my part. Anyway, I wasted a bunch of gas getting there and now my plans to install my part are out the window because of this company's poor customer service. I will steer clear of JBs powercenter in the future if I need something that will involve any type of organization other than me bringing a part up to the counter myself and them taking my money and giving me change. read more
