We are now enjoying our newly installed AC. The only problem is that it's too quiet! Obviously not a problem but delightful to have the home cool and done quietly. Since we were doing the duct work also it became a 2-day job. Joseph brought over a really nice portable AC unit that really kept a couple of the rooms cool. The crew worked efficiently and left the house spotless. My wife was impressed by a guy actually knowing how to use a vacuum! Can't say enough about JB3 from start to finish! read more

The a/c stopped working on a Saturday afternoon during the most recent heatwave. We feared how long it may take to get service during this very busy time, as well as the potential cost. I sent a message to JB3 hoping to hear back Monday morning. Much to my surprise, I received a very pleasant message that Joseph was in my area, and could stop by that same evening. Not only did Joseph stop by, but he arrived sooner than expected, diagnosed the problem within moments, explained the problem clearly, and had the correct replacement part in his truck! Our a/c was functioning again within minutes of his working on it...less than 4 hours after my initial message to JB3. The cool air was an incredible relief, but not nearly as much as the very fast, friendly, and economical service with JB3 HVAC! read more

We heard about Joseph on Temecula Talk. He had great reviews about his work and how honest and trustworthy he is. We called him about our heating problem. When we met I immediately could tell his professionalism. He found our problem and fixed it correctly the first time. He hasn't had to come back but when we are ready for new equipment we are calling him back. He is very friendly and a joy to do business with! read more

Showed up on weekend. After dark. During heat spell. Fixed AC unit in a timely manner. Cleaned up area. Recommend.

I needed someone to come out and fix my parent's AC unit in Sun City. We are in the middle of an intense heat wave and the air coming out of their vents was barely cool with the thermostat temperature not dropping below 88 deg during the day. My parents are in their 90's so I was hoping to find someone who could come over the next day. I found JB3 HVAC on Yelp and sent a message in the evening asking for help. Within 4 minutes I received a reply from Laurianna and said Joseph was available to come over the next day in the early afternoon after completing another job in the morning. I sent another message in the morning to confirm and Laurianna responded that Joseph would come between 1:30-2:00pm. Joseph arrived on time and quickly went to work. He determined that the AC unit needed refrigerant and also needed cleaning. It didn't take very long and cool air started coming through the vents. What a relief! Joseph is a real professional and very efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again and highly recommend him! read more

Our brand new a/c unit stopped working today; it's 109 out! My parents (70yrs old) were at our home baby sitting our 1 year old and it was unbearable. My husband and I were both working and were not able to get to them right away. My husband made a phone call and spoke to a very professional and compassionate gentleman who helped us fix the issue over the phone. My husband was able to get off work and run to Home Depot to grab a few things and fix the issue himself. We are sooo thankful that he was available and super helpful!!! We absolutely recommend this company for any HVAC issues! Thank you thank you thank you and god bless! read more

Have an older AC that recently went out on me. Wasn't really prepared financially to replace it. Went with a few different AC companies that flat out told me that I had to replace it. Called JB3 and told Joseph my issue. He was able to find the problem and fix them. Really appreciate the service and the price. Definitely will be using JB3 to replace them here soon. read more

This is one of the bestest made in America companies in the area. Service call with no attempt to break the bank. Most "on the job" professionals you can call. Later I needed a new system. The experience and expertise was phenomenal. He recommended the right size for the best efficiency right off the bat. I gave him an opportunity to upsell if he thought it would be better. He explained what the best system was for the money. It wasn't oversized and saved energy. He installed it clean and expedient in a couple of days from the outside in for a new balanced system for a very good price. He made sure all the old parts were properly recycled immediately. He was so easy to work with on scheduling and communication. Simply text him with the information he needs to get back to you and he keeps you updated. Exceptional excellent work. read more

JB was very punctual, efficient, and helpful in this service call. I am pleased to say JB thoroughly examined the AC unit and completed the job in a timely manner as he was dedicated to fix the problem from the beginning. Not only did JB fix the problem, but he went the extra mile to sufficiently clean the unit and ensure no further issues due to his services. I will stand behind JB moving forward. read more

I requested a visit from JB3 to look at a HVAC unit that had stopped working. I was contacted via Yelp in less than 20 minutes with a, "Joseph will be able to make it there later today, if that is okay with you?" Joseph, was personable, courteous, and still positive even after I was sure he had been working for 12 hours already. He was very helpful in discussing each step he was performing and forthcoming with any information I needed to actually fix things myself. I hold his professionalism in high regard. He was fair, knowledgeable, educating, hard working, and positive every step of the way. I hope that everyone that uses his service, gives him the friendly kindness that he gives freely to all of his clients. I plan on keeping him at the top of my HVAC needs list. read more

If I could give 20 stars I would! Joseph, Sean, and few other men on his crew worked so hard on this older home we have in Fallbrook with a new install. The 16 steer Goodman unit works fantastic since we have a 2,800 sf ranch style home with many huge windows. Joseph showed us where vents and intake would be before just doing it. Every vent was perfect for each room where they were strategically placed. I guess experience and craftsmanship are he and his crew greatest attributes. Always on time, always courteous, and our dogs loved them. Thanks so much JB3 for our new AC/Heat!!!! Spencer & Michele Howard, Fallbrook read more

Found Joseph on YELP and his reviews say it all...he's one of the hardest working... polite... knowledgeable... honest and helpful people you could have to do work on your home. His prices are extremely reasonable and fair. We are very happy with our new heater/air-conditioner unit. THANK YOU Joseph!! read more

Joseph to the rescue! I called everywhere looking for help on this hot day because my ac stopped working. Joseph was the only person willing to help me and was here within the hour of my call and had us cooling off within 30-30 min! Very fair priced, didn't lie or upsell me. He fixed the issue and I'm so grateful! Friendly, professional and efficient! read more

Our A/C decided to stop blowing cold air during today's scorching outside temperatures and our house quickly reached and extremely uncomfortable 85 degrees. With our unit being 18 years old, we feared that we would have to get a new unit... So we put in a call to JB3 HVAC and had our unit serviced in less than 3 hours from our original call! Once Joseph arrived, he was able to quickly diagnose that the unit merely had a bad capacitor, which was causing the units cooling function to fail, and assured us that everything else was healthy. All in all the service was about 15 minutes and our house is already back to a comfortable temperature. Thank you JB3 HVAC for your quick response time, extremely fair pricing, and for getting our A/C unit back up in no time! We would definitely use them again. read more

The tech I had been using for years moved out of State so I started reluctantly calling around. I am a landlord/manager and need a dependable, honest, experienced tech. Joe was the first one to actually answer the phone and that's a big plus for me because I didn't want to leave voicemail and hope to get a return call while tenants were needing repair. Joe agreed to meet the next morning and was on time. He was very diligent in his inspection and noted a few corrections that needed to be made and made them. He did not try to sell me a new unit that I did not need presently. He service call price was fair and I was glad I had chosen him. I will not hesitate to call Joe from now on for all my HCAC issues. Thank you Joe. read more

Yelp messaged last night, Joseph knocking on my door before my set appointment this morning. Quickly diagnosed the problem, replaced control board and thermostat. Hour later the heat is back! City of Menifee, why waste your time calling anyone else but Joseph (JB3). Enough said "thank you" JB3 and superb job to Joseph. Joseph only name when it comes to HVAC system repairs and service here in Menifee! read more

Quick response, knowledgeable, fair prices. After having our home warranty send out a repair company I was without heat for 7 days. They wouldn't diagnose the problem because we broke the safety switch. They didn't have the part and needed to order it. Then they called today to tell me it will be $395 to replace the switch before they could continue diagnosing the problem. I called around to see if this was a reasonable charge and found JB3 here on Yelp. The owner answered the phone, he was at the supply house, he priced out the part and called me back within the hour!! Significantly less than the home warranty company. He was at my door before noon, he switched out the part, found the vacuum hose was loose not allowing enough pressure to kick the motor on, took 2 seconds to reattach. Also, we had tried to install a new thermostat ourselves and had the wires all hanging out of the wall, we couldn't get it to work because the safety switch shut off the power to the unit. He wired it up and went thru the first few screens identifying the proper unit. Joseph was professional, honest and my HERO today! Thanks Joseph! I was not looking forward to freezing my butt off another day!! 5 stars is all they allow... I give 10 stars for this local business!! read more

When our a/c went out my wife contacted JB3 and scheduled an appointment. Joseph showed up on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. He had our home cooling down in a matter of minutes. I really appreciate Joseph's honesty and professionalism. His prices are fair. I would definitely recommend JB3 to anyone in need of HVAC service. Thanks again Joseph! read more

I initially called Joseph for a quote to service my A/C units. Since we bought our house about 15 months ago the A/C never really cooled down our home the way it should have. The upstairs was also burning hot and I never felt the A/C in my office or my children's bedrooms. I figured it just needed servicing . Joseph came by the same day and took a look at our units. He went into the attic and when he came back he showed me picture proof of the crap job that had been done in the installation of the A/C . I'm assuming when the house was built. No wonder our upstairs was an inferno. He recommend we change out all the vents in our home along with a couple other things that would help airflow. When he took a look at our units he discovered they were ancient 25 year old dinosaurs and recommended if we could afford it to do a complete upgrade. We knew it was something we needed to do as the home was built in 93. He gave me a fantastic quote to do a complete upgrade of the upstairs and downstairs. His team was proficient and professional. Sometimes you encounter contractors that just make you feel uneasy. Not Joseph or his team. I am proud to say I can feel freezing cold air in all rooms upstairs and even in my downstairs where I have 25 foot + ceilings. I will definitely be enjoying the summer this year sitting comfortable in my cold home ! Added bonus we have two new amazing nest thermostats. All is good in the heating and cooling world in this home again . I would definitely recommend JB3 to anyone who asks me ! He completed the job in 4 days , everything was done up to standard and even cleaned up after himself . read more

With record breaking heat yesterday our AC stopped working. I called JB3 this morning, and Joseph came out first thing this afternoon. He repaired our AC, our house is cool, and he didn't gouge us on the price. He was on time (even a little early, thankfully!), got our housed cooled down right away, and cleaned our unit. We definitely recommend JB3! read more

HUGE THANKS to Joe for helping us out with our AC problems. Saved me money big time! I thought the issue was the fan motor but he immediately diagnosed it as a bad capacitor. Had our AC up and running in 15 minutes and then cleaned it up for us. My wife and I sincerely appreciate his exceptional customer service! Would recommend to anyone, anytime! Call JB3 up for ALL of your HVAC needs! read more

My upstairs ac started blowing hot air last night and I called Joseph this morning and he was out super quick to save me from this heat! Figured out and fixed the problem quickly. I'm no ac expert, but the cost seemed very reasonable too! Thank you so much again! read more

At the hottest part of the day, our a/c just stop working. Called Joseph, and he was out within the hour. Climbed a ladder, found the problem and fixed it. We could not have been happier. We were in disaster mode over here at our house. 103 degrees and our AC isn't working. We have a home warranty, called and they could come out 4 days later. My wife posted our problem on our local Facebook page and several people said they had a good experience with Jb3 Hvac. So my wife called them to see if it was something minor. Dude showed up the same day. Made some adjustments and cleaned off our AC unit and sure enough it's working again. Charged us $75. He was polite, thorough, and had a trusting demeanor. Would 1000 percent recommend. I am writing this review 2 weeks from our service and still zero problems with our AC!!! read more

One of my tenants called and said the heater is working, but the air conditioner is not. The package unit is on top of the roof and almost 20 years old. I was afraid it would cost a lot to repair or need to be replaced. I called JB3 HVAC and told them I would tell my tenant to call in and schedule the repair. My tenant called and the following morning the air was working. Yaaa... JB3 HVAC could have charged a lot, but only charged to repair the broken wire that causing the problem. The housecall and repair only cost me $75. From now on I am going to call JB3HVC for all 5 of my houses. read more

Excellent service and honest. Didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. Will use JB3 again.

Only use them if it is something very easy, he literally guessed big problems and kept trying to sell me a new unit, and tell me my compressor was going bad. When he finally guessed it was the circuit board on my furnace he quoted me twice the amount than other companies to replace it. My issue was a simple wire shorting out my system that he obviously lacked the electrical skill to diagnose. He complained of other customers not paying him and now I'm understanding why . I was quoted a $85 service call and charged $125 for absolutely nothing. Although I paid him because I treat people fairly, I hope he treats others more fairly than he did me. read more

Joseph from JB3 heating and Air came out to our home today to adjust vent flow, we recently had a major remodel to our master room and bath. When Joseph went up in our attic we had water everywhere. I just had major back surgery and I didn't want my 64 year old husband to try to fix the problem. Without hesitations Joseph identified the problem and said I am running to joes hardware. Came back climbed up on our roof and patched areas that occurred from our remodel. I can't tell you how this made us feel. He went over and above to help us Thank You Joseph from the bottom of our hearts Did all this in the pouring rain- Thanks Diane and Tom read more

It's that time of the season when you don't want your AC to go out. Well it did and we reach out to our community for recommendation and Joseph / JB3 was highly recommended. We called first thing in the morning but knowing he would be busy (Temp was 107 yesterday and expecting the same today), we expected an appointment later in the week at the earliest. Joseph asked for my address and he would make a round out to our area today. Amazing!! He showed up with in a couple of hours and quickly identified the issue and resolved it. That alone would have been great but even though they was packed for the day, he cleaned my AC, checked to make sure I had new filters explaining the importance of good maintenance and why. That's a simple but often over looked extra that you don't always get with these time of emergency/urgent repairs. I have some duct work I need and told him I will schedule some time with the weather is a bit better...Fall. :-) Great Job!! read more

Needed to have my annual inspection/tune-up on my air conditioning unit so I requested a few quotes from 5 star companies and JB3 offered a very competitive price. Coupled with their great reviews I figured it was a perfect match and they absolutely were! Joe arrived on time, got the job done fairly quickly, and the cost quoted was the cost I paid. He was friendly, polite, professional and extremely knowledgeable...basically everything you would want. I would HIGHLY recommend JB3 to anyone who has HVAC needs!! read more
