We didn't file a claim because we knew the house was undergoing a major remodel. When they moved us back in, we had the builder cover all the walls and flooring. AMS did not have that as an option. Additionally, when they brought our stuff back, many items were covered with mold. We had a lot of damage and many boxes looked like they had been packed by children. I hate to leave a negative review but our compensation for damage was horrible and out of line in our opinion. I can't recommend this company and I would not use them again.

Nothing broken, damaged or missing. All aspects of their work was top notch and made what can be a stressful event into just another couple of busy days for us. All member of the move day teams were respectful and detail oriented in their work. all items that were taken apart for the move-out were properly reassembled at the move-in location. Large items were properly and securely protected and wrapped for the move. The team did not damage walls, floors or any other part of the move-out or move-in homes. Walk throughs were performed on both ends of the move before and after the loading/unloading. The teams were on time on both ends of the move and super accommodating for any questions or request we had. Initial estimate walk through was thorough, and pricing quote was honest and fair. Signed contract pricing was honored and no surprise gottchas at the end of the move. The company is fully licensed and insured for the work they contract to perform, and they complete that work without any drama or surprises in a professional manner. Due to a…read moremiscommunication (or frankly lack of communication), I had no idea what time the truck was arriving on move in day. I had to dash away for an emergency, but was coming right back. I had instructed the movers about where most large items would go. While I was gone (30 minutes truly) the driver begins harassing me via text, call, etc that he needs to leave ... he is SO rude that I don't feel comfortable speaking with him so I call the main number and no one answers (beyond unprofessional... it was a Monday!). They left without me personally signing off on the move, every single piece of furniture other than the beds is one the wrong room, and the most epic part is the company refuses to respond to any emails and when I finally got the owner on the phone she couldn't have been ruder and actually cursed at me. This company is a joke and they lost two items as well. I plan to make it my mission in 2025 to greatly impact their business and have already gotten the attention of the local realtor association with several phone calls and emails exchanged ... more to follow! Arrived at 9:26 a.m. started charging at 9:15 a.m. Broke…read morelimbs off of a tree parking the van in the driveway and did not clean them up. Did not work together. We had three people doing our move-in. They were all doing separate things and none of them seemed to know what the other person was doing. Did not have the proper tools to break down the bed. I had to show them how to break down the hospital bed. Did not load the truck properly. I instructed the company no less than three times that my son was in a power wheelchair and we would need to have room to load it last after we put him in the car and unload it first once we got to the new house. I reiterated this again when they arrived. They didn't even finish loading all of our items and informed us that they would have to go to the new house, unload half the truck and then go back for the rest. This meant that we had to leave my disabled son at the first house until they could return to load the rest of the items along with his chair. Because of how they stacked the items, everything shifted and fell as they moved. You can see in the picture that items had fallen on top of each other and boxes were smashed. There was plenty of room for all of our items IF they had loaded the truck correctly. Before they unloaded, they required payment. When I spoke to the office and explained the situation and asked them if I was going to have to pay for the extra time it was going to take for them to drive back to the original house, load everything up and drive back to unload it, the office apologized profusely and discounted the remaining time. Did not label boxes, pack properly, or place boxes in proper rooms. I packed 90% of the house before they arrived. Everything was wrapped, bubble wrapped and boxed to keep items from shifting. Every box was labeled on the top and side to indicate the room they belonged to and what was in the box. Fragile items were clearly marked. They did none of this for any box that they packed. There were boxes of shoes in the kitchen, studio stuff in the garage, bathroom stuff in the dining room, garage stuff in the bedroom, and bedroom stuff in the living room. My computer system was packed with kitchen chemicals and put in the garage. Broke a desk. They managed to rip the entire side off of the desk. They offered to buy wood glue and glue it together. As I was dealing with my mom being rushed to the hospital, I told them to just dispose of it. One mover got mad when I told him to take a box back to the garage and dropped the box which was clearly marked fragile and broke a candle holder, a ceramic angel, and six snow globes that I have had for over 20 years. Those snow globes have been moved 7 times and were never broken. Crushed my studio backdrop paper rolls. Broke a glass. Missing lid to coffee pot. Coffee maker won't work without it. We found it-not with the coffee pot, but with the chemicals and the computer. Stuffed the dryer vent hose inside the dryer, lint and all. Left parts of boxes, trash,wrapping paper and empty tape rolls all over the house. Left items in our closet that she was specifically directed to pack, including my son's baby book, jewelry and clothes. Dumped potting soil all over the driveway at the new house and left it. Crushed my plastic plant holders. Placed parts to our lawnmower in our trash can. Taped an empty box and loaded it on the truck. Packed a $1,000.00 gaming system with no protection in a box with chemicals from under the kitchen sink. Then put the box in the corner of the garage. In the heat. In the middle of the summer.

To start out they were 1 1/2 hours late. Then the head guy quickly counted the number of pieces…read moreinvolved in our move and said they didn't have a truck big enough and I had to get my friends together on the next day with our own u-haul truck to finish the job. They were supposed to meet us at a storage unit in 30 minutes and again they were mia for an 1 1/2...they finished the job at 10 pm and they wanted us to pay for 10!hours...I'd already spoken to their boss who agreed we would be getting $415 off of the final cost. That would be $100 late fee plus our $100 deposit and one hour free for the long lunch poor. Plus they did not have the right tools needed to do the job correctly. After all was said and done we ended up paying for 10 hours of labor when they only actually worked for 8 1/2 hours. Just another crooked company that has hidden fees they don't mention when quoting the job that they stick you with at the last minute like $400 for materials even though they reuse the materials they use and take them with them. I CANNOT recommend this company under any circumstance...look somewhere else.

Stephen went above and beyond to ensure I had all the resources/manpower I needed for my job. They were all very flexible and courteous. He has done a terrific job training his crews. I needed to move 3 huge storage units (10x 20) within a few days (very time sensitive) that were cluttered/a disaster with extremely heavy and fragile items or boxes. Stephen was also able to locate for me a company (Tidewater Property Preservation and Junk Removal) to take away at the last minute a 2,000 pound safe! The first crew of Austin and Kamren quickly tried to organize the pack/move for efficiency! These young men worked nonstop and effortlessly and even made suggestions to help facilitate the process. I can't thank them enough for their insights!! Our second day, I added Dijon, Spencer, Cam and Bryan. Again, this crew along with Kamren also worked tirelessly (not even stopping for rest/food) from 8:30-6pm. They treated my boxes/items with care as if my things were their own possessions! Bryan was even able to find people to come and get things that weren't able to be sold. This helped us so much! I super valued and really respected Dijon and Spencer's expertise about the timing of my UHaul and where to donate or sell certain items! Thank you both for helping make that last day go smoothly and finish on time! Sava joined us on the third day working just as diligently. This crew even traveled with us to the pod warehouse for unloading/repacking of our items in extremely hot conditions. For my last two days. I requested/asked for these same crews! They had been so amazing the other days for us. :) I appreciated all their hard work, enthusiasm and dedication these men gave to their job and my family over the course of 4 days! My gratitude to making a difficult move/pack process much easier given tight time constraints. The best recommendation I could give them is that I wanted to fly these crews to CA to help me unload my pod!
