This place is trash. They were supposed to deliver an appliance on a Saturday night. I get a call that they can't make it and won't be done their runs till 2am. I get it, sometimes jobs run late, so you start where you left off next work day. Except they didn't. They tried to reschedule for next Friday instead of Monday. This means they would have to load orders on the truck around mine, or take my order off the already loaded truck and not deliver my order. Eventually they moved the order up to Wednesday, but I don't comprehend why it wasn't delivered the next business day. Poor logistics and customer service. Don't know why other companies rely on this business that's not dependable. read more

I ordered a dishwasher from Menard's specifically because I could pay to have the old dishwasher uninstalled, removed and the new one installed. The delivery service weren't knowledgeable at dishwasher installation at all. I was not made aware when I was purchasing this installation package that if I had copper pipes the team wouldn't even remove the old dishwasher. They would set it on the floor and leave. Had I known that I would be wasting my time and money I would have skipped the 4 week wait for delivery and brought the appliance home the same day and installed it myself...like I'm doing now. If you're purchasing an appliance do not pay to have it installed by the retailer. You may very well get JB Hunt and they have no more knowledge at this than the average Joe and YouTube self-help tutorials can help you get this job done faster. read more

I ordered a dishwasher from Costco to be delivered by JB Hunt. It took three weeks to deliver a damaged dishwasher. We sent that back and ordered another one. The second one came a month later. The guys said they installed it, but it was defective and does not work. I am returning it for a refund and buying a dishwasher elsewhere. We wasted almost 2 months and several hours of time trying to get a dishwasher. I will never do business with JB Hunt again. read more

The person sent by Home Depot to install a dishwasher came in and made a personal call to his office about wanting the afternoon off and then said he could not do the install. He was on speakerphone and I heard the female he told proceed to insult customers. When I asked his name and the name of the the person he was talking to, he refused to answer. I purchased a dishwasher with complete installation. JB Hunt saw that my house had Pex plumbing and dropped the dishwasher and ran. They said I would need a plumber to install. This has happened to me twice in two different homes in the past 6 months with JB Hunt. In both instances my husband and I installed the dishwasher using the included installation instructions that came in the box. We aren't plumbers nor electricians. Why can't "appliance installers" do what a homeowner can do? I don't understand why any sellers of appliances contract with JB Hunt. The customer service calls and money they have to reimburse must be a nightmare. These guys are untrained, incompetent and unwilling to even try. Before purchasing an appliance ask who the installer will be. If they say JB Hunt Final Mile purchase your appliance elsewhere. read more

Had a refrigerator delivered. Gentleman plugged in the refrigerator and connected the water line. So I thought. 5 days later water is pouring into my basement. Plumber came and identified the problem immediately. Installer did not screw water line in all the way. Jb hunt refused my claim. Our word against his, even though my wife watched him install it. 10k plus damage done. Currently in the hands of my homeowners insurance. read more

Just got a delivery, delivery guy in hurry did not want to stay while I opened the freight boxes. Two out of four packages were damaged. Called jb hunt ASAP they said should be no problem. Turned out big problem since the delivery guy refused to stay, the company would not stand behind dented freight. This company is comprised of complete idiots from the dispatchers on up and the drivers that want to stay with them. You WILL be lied to about how many miles you are gonna get, you will be lied to about anything and everything you are promised. This company is a low rate trucking company that will prey on your ignorance of the trucking industry. They called the day before delivery (to the incorrect phone number) to inform us they had not put the order on the truck and therefore would be moving our delivery to a weekday, which is virtually impossible for us. My review is only for the installation of the dishwasher by JB Hunt. My number 1 reason for purchasing a dishwasher from costco was delivery & installation was included. Upon arrival the technician informed me I only paid for "basic installation" that only hooks up the tubes and that I would have to call a Plummer and electrician to finish up the install. After insisting that Costco does include "complete installation" and requesting his supervisors number he called in and indeed Costco does include "compete installation". I was than informed that my counters are crooked and the dishwasher will not still flush but it was the best he could do... off set and with 1/4" gap on the side. The hidden control panel partially exposed & crooked. Hmmm really...!!! The technician only attached one of the screws to the kick plate and leaving the other undone and no where to be found. I called his supervisor after he left. She handled everything great. Insisting to have a supervisor come out first thing the next day and correct the problem. The water was not on to the dishwasher that night when I went to go run it. I figured the first technician forgot to turn it back on. The next day we noticed a leak in the basement below the dishwasher. Hmmmm! We turned off the water. The supervisor, John, was coming out that day so we mentioned it to him. He check and said it wasn't from them since the floor under the dishwasher was not wet. John aesthetically installed the dishwasher correctly. That evening when my husband got home from work he began investigating where the leak was coming from... after several holes in the drywall basement he could find nothing. He decided to double check the dishwasher again just incase the supervisor was wrong. Indeed the water connector hose was leaking down the pipe. Turns out the water hose that connects to main water pipe to the dishwasher did not have a washer and therefore can not have a tight seal. After more research I come across the original technician made a note on my bill of landing noting "didn't turn on water valve loose at point of turning no damage". The original technician NEVER verbally mentions this important information!!! HELLO how is this complete? I didn't have a leak prior!!! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Will not order an appliance again from costco!!! read more

THE WORST! Nothing is ever easy with this company. They can't give you a delivery window until the night before...then they don't show up on time or they can't deliver and don't tell you until you've been home all day- not working, not getting paid. They scratch your floors and bang up your walls. They don't come past the 2nd floor of an apartment without a million calls to Costco. They schedule deliveries on saturday but their offices aren't open on saturday I've had 3 deliveries from JB hunt, in the last few months because they work with Costco. I will stop ordering appliances and big items from Costco because of JB hunt. Can't even believe that Costco deals with this lackluster company. Doesn't even rate one star! I bought a refrigerator from Worst Buy on special order. These are the guys who deliver the special orders for them. These morons are the epitome of incompetence. They have no quams about lying to you regarding your delivery. They'll set up a delivery time (whenever is least convenient for you) and just not show up. "But our driver called you." No, he didn't. "Yes he did!" Humm... I have a device called Caller I.D. It registers every call I get to my line. No calls were made to me on that day. "Well he called you." The best part is that you usually have to take time off of work to wait for these people who don't seem to care if they show up and deliver your purchase or not. You missed work for nothing? So what? Not their problem. After multiple calls and more lies I finally spoke to their manager Charlie. I asked if it was their policy to simply hire incompetents and morons so they could pay them less. His response was "Well you're certainly entitled to your opinion sir." Whenever I hear that I know this person has had this exact same conversation before and has no legitimate way to respond. He then preceded to lie to me some more about previous arrangements that were allegedly discussed with me. I think not! But don't just take my word for it. Check these guys out on-line and see what others are saying about them. If you purchase an appliance from a store, do yourself a big favor and first ASK WHO WILL DELIVER IT! JB Hunt is terrible. I purchased a washer/dryer from a company that uses JB Hunt for its delivery service. They called and gave me a 4 hour window on a Monday and we waited at home for the entire 4 hours and no one showed up. Not even a call to let us know that they were delayed. When I called on Tuesday to find out what happened they said that they "couldn't locate the driver's notes" and couldn't figure out what happened. They brusquely told me that they'd try again later in the week. Worst service ever. read more

I saw a lot of bad reviews and just had to write about the positive experience I had. I ordered a washer and dryer from Whirl Pool. I got my call to schedule the delivery. I got a call to verify the delivery day and time. The driver called when he was about 30 mins away. They hauled away my old washer and dryer. They swept the floor. (to my embarrassment). When they started the install the installer noticed that there was no request to flip the door on the dryer but if he left it like it was I would have a hard time getting clothes from the front load washer around the dryer door and into the dryer. He ask if he could flip it for me. Of course I let him. There was not extra charge for this service and it was completed quickly. Couldn't have been happier with the delivery or installation!!! read more

JB Hunt delivered brand new appliances and in doing so scratched my week old brand new bamboo flooring. They are doing absolutely nothing to fix the damage that their careless installation men caused. They are denying that they did the damage even though it was clearly pointed out to them while they were installing the product. If you EVER have JB Hunt deliver to your home, and I wouldn't reccommend you do, you'd better video tape the entire installation or else you are SOL because they don't take your word as evidence. Customer service has been poor and they are not living up to their mantra of 100% happy customers and leaving the home as neat as it was when they arrived. read more

This Company is the worst. I purchased a washer and dryer from Costco with free delivery, installation and haul away. JB had someone deliver it that does not know how to install. The next day someone was supposed to come and install - they never showed up. I called the next day which was Friday and they apologized and they said they would call me in the afternoon to let me know when someone would be there. and that it would be first thing Monday morning but no one called me back on Friday. I called on Saturday and left a detailed voice mail. No call back so I called first thing Monday morning. They said between 10:15 and 3:00. I had someone waiting during those hours and of course no one shows up. At 4:15 my daughter went to work. I called JB to tell them no one showed up and they said the driver was on his way. Told them it was too late, someone was available during the timeframe they gave me. They said Tuesday after 8:00 am someone would be there. They showed up at 7:00 am while my son was in the shower. So they left and that was it. Was told they would be there today -Thursday after 1:00 pm - I just called to check and was told the supervisor forgot to set up the appointment. So another day of waiting and no one showing up. These were ordered on August 10, 2013 and they are just sitting in my garage. read more

Alright update to my previous post. Finally dishwasther was delivered this morning, however, the driver did not install the dishwasher. He said since the water line is not coming straight from the sink and valve to shut-off the water is not located right under the sink, he can not install the dishwasther. I told him valve is located in the basement and I can shut-off water for him. He said that's not allowed. They have certain restrictions. If valve is not located near dishwasher then then can not install the machine. I said what would be wrong, if I shut-off the valve and his reply was simply, 'I will lose my job, that's not allowed'. How many houses have valve next to the dishwasher. I must have lived in 10 houses so far, but never so valve near dishwasher. Why don't this people simply say that they just deliver the product and don't do installation. Its totally frustrating experience to deal with this people. My only recommendation is that if J.B. Hunt is installing the product, then don't buy the product!!! read more
