I could have bought my concealer, foundation, brow pencil, and a new shade of lipstick, but before I knew it I was being told that I couldn't be helped because they didn't have what I wanted. Rep was so sure she walked away and texted in the cabinet before I could tell her what else I was interested in. I came in asking if there was a product she could recommend for contouring that wasn't a bronzer. Her answer: no, they don't have a contour product. Fine. I prodded, was there a product that had a color good for contouring; be it stick or powder? She looked at two colors put one on the back of my palm and asked if it was too orange. I said it was, and before I could ask for my usual stock of makeup she was in the cabinet texting. If you don't want my business, wish granted. I will spend it elsewhere. Mac, you are a better company than to let me walk out empty handed with time to kill. Do not visit this location: you will be disappointed.

Anyone on the prowl for dubiously-sourced second-tier blaxploitation films of the 1970s would most…read morelikely pass this place by, because really why would a store called Gateway Cosmetics, buried inside a corporate tower in downtown Newark, contain, say, the unthinkably obscure Ron O'Neal bare-knuckle fight film The Hitter, or Bonnie & Clyde knock-off Thomasine & Bushrod, with music by a way-past-their-prime Love? I can't answer that question. I can simply assert that it does, indeed, have a very fine collection of films by the not-quite-legitimate Blax label, priced a few bucks cheaper than the ones in Philly's Market East. It's also got a decent selection of mostly-black-themed films of the more legally-reputable sort, also at good prices, an eclectic array of books that range from stoic autobiographies to urban fiction to the insane conspiracy theories of Behold a Pale Horse. And, I guess, some cosmetics, though I will confess to not paying great attention on that front (possibly to my own detriment). I might never have even entered this store, since it's fairly hidden behind its front wall, had their rather random window display not included the startling Fred Williamson western The Legend of N****r Charley one day--but glad I did!

I immediately went straight for the Ghibli Studio stuff in the back of course to see what kind of Totoro items they may have. It's not the biggest and most spacious but very decently sized place. They accept both credit/debit card and cash as forms of payment. Staff is friendly and fast service since there's never a line. Stuff can get pricey depending on what you wanna buy. However, I think their prices are actually pretty reasonable and way cheaper compared to other websites and Amazon in my most honest opinion. I always want to stop by this place wherever I'm around East Village/St. Marks Place.

I have been having issues with my face since this summer…read more Since my dermatologist in NYC was unavailable for consultation, I did some research and  found Geria Dermatology in Rutherford, NJ.   At this point, I was really at my wit's end with my issues. I can't sleep, my face is so itchy, flaky, red with that burning sensation, and swollen. I was diagnosed with Rosacea 7-8 years ago and was prescribed a cream for my face for maintenance or use when needed. I contacted Geria Dermatology by email and received a response right away from Andrew who scheduled an appointment with Dr. Aanand Geria.Thank you Andrew for being proactive.  My impressions during my visit:The office is super clean (love the cleanliness) and the staff are very nice and attentive.  I met Dr. Aanand Geria, MD who is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He confirmed that it was my Rosacea.  Before his diagnosis, I didn't really know what I have (Eczema, Psoriasis or Rosacea that had come back) Dr. Geria made me feel comfortable. He asked a lot of questions and most importantly, he took his time to listen to my concerns and answered all of them. He also explained about all the medications I brought in for him to see (prescribed previously by another Dermatologist). He gave me new prescriptions and explained thoroughly how to use them.  Just a day with the new medications, I slept well for the first time since having my face issues. I just want to say thank you and acknowledge the great experience I had with Geria Dermatology.Yes, I highly recommend this place and Dr. Geria whom I've decided to become my new Dermatologist.

I want to report that this website continues to post and promote products that are clearly a scam…read more In my case, I placed an order for body creams on March 3rd, and the company that processed the charge on my account was a completely different one called MELIO. Right after they charged me, the order was canceled with the excuse that I had requested the cancellation, which is absolutely false. I never canceled anything. Since then, my money has been in dispute because: The company does not respond to emails. They only send automated messages saying someone will get in touch with me, but no one ever does. Meanwhile, MELIO claims that they already sent the money to the seller and is now asking me to either pay again or provide my card number so they can try to charge me again. Absolutely not!
