I stoped in for some carry out dinner at this local bar with food. The name got me, and the yelp reviews looked good, so why not check it out. I had to get the "Still unnamed burger", it's fantastic. Maybe they should call it the cheeseburger cheeseburger, it's so nice you gotta say it twice! House made potato chips are great too, a little thick so you get crunch and some steak fry texture too. They know that Cajun seasoning on the chips makes the pop. Added a stout to drink, fantastic. I saw a jar with clear liquid, veggies, and pepper, they use it to make bloody Mary's, dude I bet they are awesome, but I could get one to go and I didn't want to drink and drive, especially with crazy Detroit/Dearborn drivers. read more

Stumbled upon this place to watch the Lions. It was so cute with the Christmas decor throughout. The waitress/bar gal was efficient and made good drinks. The food was good too. I would come back for a low key good food -wings and hot dogs experience in Dearborn. read more

Kind of a hole in the wall bar. Didn't expect much, but their food is actually pretty good. I'd say it's definitely elevated above a typical bar food you would expect. We got chili cheese fries, fried pickles and some type of pizza roll. The fried pickles seemed to be battered in house, the chili on the fries seemed homemade, not canned and the pizza bread was great. Definitely will try some new things here next time I'm there. read more

Affordable drinks and really great food! I came here by accident but was not disappointed and have been back twice now. Definitely recommend spinning the shot wheel and getting the breadsticks!!! I had been wanting to try this place for a while and was glad when a friend suggested meeting there. I got there early, about 45 minutes after opening on a Saturday so it wasn't busy. But my server Marianne was very helpful suggesting menu items that are popular as I told her it was my 1st time there. She also makes a great Kentucky Mule! I tried the Diamond Jubilee which is smoked sausage with heartier mustard on the side and garlic toast points. The sausage was grilled well, with some having more crispier edges than others. Ambience is friendly neighborhood pub with wainscoting on walls and booths, pool table, Keno monitor and several TV's. Juke box played some good tunes while I was there. My friend got caught up and couldn't come, but asked me to bring them the Philly Steak calzone, which was delicious when we shared it. Pizza dough was fresh and had the perfect "chew" to it. Steak had good flavor and plenty of it plus melty cheese. When Marianne came to check on me and I gave her the carry out order she was so kind telling me, "Well next time if your friend can't make it, you should come sit at the bar. There's always good chatter going on." The business is good for groups as tables can be pushed together as needed, kid friendly with their own menu items. I will definitely be back. read more

For a quick lunch, Bamboozle's is a good option, especially considering they're practically the only bar in East Dearborn. Their menu features mostly burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, soups and salads. Nothing particularly jumped out at me, so I just went with chicken fingers. My lunch mates ordered a chicken sandwich and a Philly. They both loved their sandwiches, and I really enjoyed my chicken fingers. The sandwiches were served with chips or crinkle fries. I sampled both, and they were really tasty! The service was fine but the place was also dead, so I'm not sure what it'd be like if there were more people in there. They had a TouchTunes jukebox that I could control from my phone, and I also saw a pool table and a few TVs. I'd imagine this is a perfectly adequate bar to hang out in for a few drinks with friends. Bamboozles is The "Cheers" of Dearborn! This is the bar that after just a few visits everyone knows your name. The food here is solid elevated bar food, their pizza is what they're known for and it's excellent! Taco Tuesdays are a great time to visit, they offer everything from fish tacos, beef enchiladas, Mexican pizza, to Mexican desserts. One if their signature drinks is The Bourbon Pie which is Heritage Brown Sugar Bourbon served with their signature pie it's fire.... I love the vibe of the place lots of televisions, incredible juke box that allows you to play music from your phone, and they have a few games you play while you hang out. I've been coming here since high school and it seems like it's one of the few places in the area that stays the same and that's a good thing! read more

Went in and no one greeted us, so we assumed it was "seat yourself". The place was not busy at all when we were there. There was a few people at the bar (which we had to pass on the way in) and a group of older men right across from the bar. We made our way to the other end of the bar and had a seat at a high table. As we are sitting down we noticed the air is not running and it is a bit hot and humid. We sat down and waited about five minutes and no one ever came to the table so we got up and left. The name of the restaurant is fitting, as I feel we were bamboozled into believing this would be a good restaurant to try out. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, it's dark and gloomy and hot. But on a good note, we were able to find an amazing place after we left this place. read more

A friend and I went here because it's close to work and you get a free shot with a yelp check in... I was really expecting there to be a bunch of zany crap on the walls, stressed out middle class families who don't like each other, and french fries with sparklers in them, but I was pleasantly surprised to find none of those things. Their food menu is pretty solid, my gin and tonic was huge, and we got another free shot at the end that tasted like the fresh apple pie your grandmother made and cooled on a windowsill with gingham curtains blowing gently in a breeze. If I could give a place zero stars, this would be it. A few friends and I went after work for happy hour - one other customer was there. It took forever to get service. We asked for a recommendation on appetizers - our inept waitress suggested the garlic Parmesan wings. They were DISGUSTING. When she came to our table to check on us, she noticed how many wings were still on the plate. We told her they were awful, and we asked her why on earth she'd suggest them. Her response - "I've never had them, but I know others have." One from my group said "Maybe you should try the food before recommending it. She said "Yeah, you're probably right." - and then proceeded to take a wing off the plate on our table and eat it. We all were aghast and had no idea what to say. After this (and several other odd instances with her), we were all convinced that the regular waitress scheduled for that day didn't show up, so they went out on Michigan Avenue, saw a warm body, and put an apron on them. I am very pleased and over joyed that they took time out their busy day to call with A HUMBLE APOLOGY and also invited me to a replacement FREE LARGE PIZZA. I was only asking for the refund of $13 for the personal pizza but they FULLY REFUNDED MY ENTIRE ORDER OF $88! What a gem!!! Great service with a great selection of beer and spirits, not to mention the food. I got the classics hamburger and it was amazing!!! I arrived late into Detroit and I was looking to unwind and have a bite to eat. I was so torn because they have a great menu and when I saw the prices, I was not expecting much but OMG it was so good. Also, I find a lot of establishments advertise they are open late but often try to close early or seem put out when you try to get late night food...not here. The bartender was great!! She offered the menu and hand a great attitude. The food came out fast and I have to say the portions are more than generous. Ok, so there aren't many bars in this area, so the standard is pretty low. But even still, Bamboozle's is a pretty solid place. I've been a handful of times, and have always been happy with the drinks, the prices, and the service. I haven't had any food, but I'm told that it's pretty good. They also do happy hour and other specials throughout the week (like half off pizza or all-day happy hour) - always a plus! The crowd has never been too rowdy or obnoxious, nor has the music or TV volume. Speaking of music, they've got a jukebox with a good selection of tunes to drown out the sports commentary on the screens. There aren't a lot of bars in predominantly Muslim East Dearborn anymore but the 'boozler is a hold-out . Bamboozles is part neighborhood pub and part sports bar. Since the business was sold a few months ago, they have added at least a dozen plasma TVs so you can always catch whatever game you may want to see. The crowd is pretty diverse in age and race. Often you will find some of the girls from BT's next door come over here for a drink before or after their shift mingling with a city councilman or a guy who thinks he is Michael Jackson. The oddest thing is that this place does extremely well on weeknights and can be a virtual ghost town on the weekends. They have typical bar food (pizza, burgers etc) if you are hungry but it's nothing to write home about. There is Megatouch and darts if you wanna get off ur duff. Not much of a dance floor. The waitstaff is friendly and quick enough. Moderately priced (there are specials if you look and dont mind being a bit flexible). My only beefs are that the bartenders don't know how to make a lot of drinks (my girlfriend had to explain how to make a dirty girl scout) and that the draft beer selection is pretty limited. Last time I was there, they had set up the back area as a smokeeasy but you could smell it up front by the bar. read more

Your bar lacks any hospitality and customer service. I work in Dearborn and have frequented many restaurants. Yes, some are negative and some are positive. Who are you to actually add up my review and judge my responses? Remember your title and job? You lack any manners and have a blind eye to your horrible bar. Your bar is a ghost-town, on most days and evenings. Maybe you can address those problems and maybe you might have returning customers. What happened to a handful of customers that would come in and play keno? They never returned after such horrible waits and how your bartenders carefully orchestrated their neglect upon them. First time visiting this place and we will be back! Nice selection of beer, there were a few choices on the drink menu I had never seen before. Food was hot, delicious, and well portioned.
