If you're interested in professional detailing they aren't the right people to go to. If you need someone to clean out an older cat with a lot of grime and dirt I'm sure they would do an OK job. They rubbed my new carpet to get some dog hair out (which wasn't effective) and now there are long fibers that need brushed for the carpet to look good. Overall my car looked worse than I left it to them, and I would have done a better job myself. There were numerous details missed (hooks, crevices, ceiling stains etc.) When asked for an accommodation I was told by the owner that he would personally come out to correct the issue, but he ended up just sending the original employee.

After attempting to dry out and clean the interior, I discovered mold / mildew on the carpet of the driver's side flooring. I eventually got the leak fixed, however, knew I would just need to end up having my car professionally detailed to not only address the saturated carpet, but to deodorize the interior. I researched several places online and was getting outrageous quotes (we are talking over $1000) to restore my car. I understand the importance of remediation, especially when it comes to mold, however, I really didn't feel like my case was that extreme. I finally came across Miraculous Detail and immediately noticed their amazing reviews. Their quote was way more reasonable for my size of car, as well as the with the amount of work I believe needed to be done. The communication process, drop off / pick up, etc. was all so organized and straight forward. Upon receiving my car, it was extremely clean, the smell was gone, and all of the growth on the carpet was gone. I couldn't recommend Miraculous Detail enough!! I hope I don't have another water leak in my car in the future, however, if I do and need detailing I will certainly be using Miraculous Detail again!

There are the expected plastic pieces that got scuffed over the many years of use, but that can't be fixed. For the paint correction, they removed virtually all of the swirl marks left on the paint. He was also honest about the ceramic coating process and the products used. I highly recommend Squeegee for your next detail!

As a result, the water ingress caused mold to grow in my van which had been sitting in the driveway unused during the colder and wet months earlier in the year. Luckily I used Yelp to send out multiple requests from various other services but the main reason why I chose Jupiter and Lightning Mobile and why they stood out from the rest was nothing other than sheer professionalism. I don't know why people are hesitant to place a call anymore and just resort to sending messages out of pure convenience. To me I still value those simple gestures. I received a call directly from Jupiter while others just sent me convenient messages outlining their pricing. I'm glad Jupiter did reach out to me because he explained in great detail the entire process and what sort of work was involved including the reasoning behind the processes. Before any work was to be done, the cause of the leak needed to be addressed. Jupiter is also part of Water Doctors so he had some knowledge and expertise on how to handle the root cause of the issue. Had I hired those other guys out there, the leak would have cause the same issue again come rainy season. Just this simple gesture of receiving a call made me feel valued as a customer and that I would be getting my moneys worth. As for the work, both guys did a fantastic job. Both Jupiter and Brandon were meticulous but at the same time took lots of care and had great attention to detail. They cleaned out the other hard to remove stains on my carpet and mats with an enzymatic cleaner that I would have found difficult to clean on my own without the right tools and materials. The results brought new life to my old but reliable van. I told the guys how much this van had sentimental value to me and my family and they took real good care of it. I wasn't able to provide direct electricity or a water source for their use because I had contractors on site using those resources but I was really impressed with their mobile setup as they had equipment built inside their service van which was fully self-sufficient. Their service van is equipped with their own power source as well as water, HEPA cleaning system and many other equipments such as cleaning chemicals and other supplies. What also impressed me is that the setup in their van was built by themselves. Quite clever indeed! I was really impressed with the quality of work I received and I am more confident that the mold issue will not be a problem when the rains hit again. Just of note- these were two services rendered to me which incurred two separate charges. Nonetheless both my issues were solved. I'm a happy camper. I highly recommend Lightening Mobile because these guys took their time to do the job right, focused on the quality of work and are very proud of what they do.

My regular detailer who I've used for decades has done great work so absolutely no complaints…read morethere. But in recent years his pricing has gotten downright insane so I have been forced to look for alternatives. In particular for my motorcycles since, being motorcycles, they are ridden in all sorts of weather, often year round so a sparkling clean detailing job often does not last that long. Mostly looking for a biz that does a decent job at a reasonable price for at least some of my vehicles. Put the project out for quotes using Yelps service. Of course I have no way of knowing who they will blast these quote requests out to or how Yelp selects the vendors to notify. One would think that this would be done based on great reviews and close proximity to the customer's location. In this case, A Better Shine is quite some distance from me. Not a huge deal, I suppose, especially if they offer a mobile service. 20-25 miles (one way) is not too far to travel for a really outstanding vendor. So I receive a response from Irving, the owner, stating that he is eager to "win my business". Good start, I'm thinking. They have pretty decent reviews. 14 and all of them 5 stars which is a bit unusual. Even truly great businesses tend to upset someone along the way and find themselves with a few one star bad reviews. So digging a little deeper I see that there is a MASSIVE number of flagged reviews for this little business. Hmmmm.... looking a bit closer I notice that almost all of the unflagged reviews were posted by people who have written very few reviews and zero Elite Yelpers. So I'm willing to discuss this further although the caution flag is definitely out. The price that comes back is 2x higher than the mid-range of other quotes and includes ceramic coating which I did not ask for. There was no detail provided as far as what is done so this could be anything from a pressure wash to the full Magilla. I respond again asking for clarification and am told that it will be $100 less without the ceramic treatment and no responses to my other questions. Irving is now still 2x higher than my low bidder who has a very high rating on Yelp but I'm still open to hearing his proposal. That is, what does his premium priced motorcycle detailing encompass? So a few days of silence from Better Shine go by and I'm to the point where I need to select one of the detailers that Yelp connected me to and hire them to detail my Harley and see what sort of work they do. So I contact Better Shine to inquire if they are in or out and I get a rather snotty response from the owner. Strike three. He's out. His response is basically an insult claiming that I care more about price than quality although since the owner has refused to offer any details on what he does and does not do there is no way for me to determine what the level of quality is at his company. There's is also the obligatory defense of his ceramic coating pricing which I completely understand having gone through this with several of my other vehicles. I am well aware that there is considerable prep work involved and that the coating companies have rigid pricing policies for all of their certified applicators. But I was very clear that while ceramic coating this bike is not off the radar what I'm mostly interested in is finding out the scope of coverage as far as a basic detailing job is concerned. And whether I need to come to them or if they come to me. To be clear: If Irving did a great detailing job on this project the up-charge to do ceramic coating next time would not be an issue at all. At this point I am just trying to find a really good detailer who's pricing isn't in the stratosphere. I apologize for this review being so long but when I post the rare one star review I want to be abundantly clear on why I feel the business deserves such a poor review. This business has a professionally done web site and over a dozen very good reviews so my business was theirs to lose, which is what they chose to do. They insulted me and chased me away simply because I asked a few obvious questions about their service. I can only imagine how rude and hostile this fellow would be if I hired them and was unhappy with the service. The owner's attitude is a big part of why I now question the legitimacy of many of the not-flagged stellar reviews since my experience with them was anything but five stars. UPDATE: After posting this review I got a nasty response from Preston H who claims to be in Anaheim, CA. He also claims to represent this business. Obviously, this place is gaming the Yelp reviews with fake 5 star "reviews". This clod threatened me so we shall see if Yelp starts pulling down these phony 5 star reviews posted by shills.
