Got there around 11pm and the bouncers said things don't liven up til around 2am! WTH! I'm usually asleep by then. So we wander off to a neighboring bar for some drinks and return a little later. From the outside you'd hardly think anyone was inside but boy was that an illusion. It was packed! We were there on a Thursday night and the music was primarily US hip hop. There were bboys on the dance floor and people were dancing their asses off! Personally, it was way too crowded. This is the type of place where you'll accidentally get elbowed or get a drink spilled on you. Oh and don't even think of having to go to the bathroom. There is ONE bathroom and the line was ridic....if you have to go, FYL! On a good note, the crowd was very diverse and everyone was friendly for the most part. Entry was 5 euros and it comes with one free drink.

This is definitely a place to stop at first on your night of adventures. My friend and I showed up…read morearound 11pm to pregame a bit before checking out the other clubs in Testaccio. The bartender was very nice and got us pretty lit before we went out for the night. The drinks are VERY cheap (by American standards) and we even got hooked up with free shots. Great place to relax before going out on the town, they have couches and a really nice outdoor seating area.

We wandered in here before dinner in the Trastevere area of Rome looking for a high end cocktail. This place does not disappoint. The decor reminds me of Mardi Gras meets Prohibition... the cocktail menu is unique and the mixologist is simply outstanding. You do need to fill out a slip to "become a member" before they offer you a drink and take your order. While it looks a bit mysterious from the street, this sophisticated tiny cocktail bar is quite something. Definitely a nice place to sip on an elegant mixed adult beverage.

The only thing you need to do once you find the red door, is ring their doorbell and someone will come out and help you. They are a very small bar, so if you have a large party of 4+, I would suggest to make a reservation ahead of time. Their decoration is a mix of Alice in Wonderland with Italian hipster vibe. Everything feels super cool and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The cocktails are delicious and the bartender's english is pretty good, so if you are looking for recommendations he can help you. Another thing that I really like about this place is that people don't smoke inside. There are other speakeasies around town that allow smoking, and I honestly can't be there more than 1 hour. Salute!
