Got a response of "we started looking at it, but stopped because other things came up". Another 7 business days go by, SILENCE. I stop by the shop and they still hadn't even touched it. One of the techs told me "we're pulling it in and out every night because it's a nicer truck" if you're doing that why wouldn't you just diagnose it? Finally on March 10th after 14 business days of hearing absolutely nothing from this joke of a shop I towed my truck to a new shop and got it looked as the next day. I was treated amazingly, things were laid out upfront, and I felt like they have pride in their work and rightfully so. I really appreciate when someone is honest and blunt if they have to be right away. Give me the info and I'll make the best decision for me and that's what they did. But then they went above and beyond. They warned it could take a while... they warned it could be quite pricey if certain conditions existed. I agreed to all upfront because I wanted the job done right as my number one priority and I got the feeling these guys were going to do just that. Imagine my surprise when it was finished way quicker than I expected and for lowest end of the price range they gave me. It's been a few weeks and absolutely satisfied with the job done! Let me ASSURE YOU, they live up to their 5 star rating. The owner is very polite and enjoyably social while I waited for a ride to pick me up. In fact, he even offered to have the mechanic drive me back to my home. A couple hours later, he called with the results and estimate. Not only did he confirm what I needed, but he even went as far as to explaining what caused the damage (grounded wiring). As I said before, I already did my homework. I knew how much labor should cost, and I knew how much the part should cost. THEIR FINAL BILL was about $150 less than professional estimates. They also at no charge took care of the wiring problem, recharged the battery, and had the car finished within a couple of hours. FYI, The name "L & M Automotive" may be hard to see when driving by, but just look for the big Sunoco sign & gas station, and you'll have your car in good, affordable, dependable and friendly hands.
