Tim went above and beyond the call of duty and drove to my location to install this bed cover on my vehicle. He then met me back at his office and made adjustments for a very reasonable price. I would definitely use them again. Satisdied customer TA Glasco

I've done business with ProTech Audio since 1987. That ends now. I brought my 2025 truck to them…read moreto have them remove the badging (Sierra, Evolution). Cost was minimal, only $200 before taxes...sounds like a good deal, right? WRONG! Everywhere they removed a badge, deep scratches. The "manager" is who pulled the badges off and mentioned the scratches and directed me to their detail guy to fix them. Detail guy told me they can't be fixed by him as they are way too deep. Went back and the "manager" told me the badges were quote "embedded in the paint" LOL. He then directed me to a local paint shop they use and when the paint guy spoke with him, he said "ProTech ain't paying for nothing". I went back to the store and asked to speak with owner Mark, whom I have known since the 90's and Mark REFUSED to come outside and speak with me. His "manager" hilariously tried to intimidate me by coming out and demanding we talk outside and tried to be aggressive with me. I guess because he knows I am a disabled veteran that I would be intimidated, but it gave me a good laugh as I left. Anyway, my relationship as a customer and really an ambassador of ProTech as I have directed people there for years, is OVER. Over because Mark, the owner, refused to be bothered to come out and speak with a long-time customer and ProTech would not even take ownership for the mistake they made. Mistakes happen, own them...My mistake was trusting ProTech with removing my badging.

The original quote was $900, but they later added costs for "required" harnesses. Within two months, the rear-view camera they installed stopped working during the daytime. Shortly after, the steering wheel controls began cutting in and out before failing completely. After less than three years, the entire stereo shorted out. A certified installer who replaced it said it was "one of the worst installs" he'd seen and confirmed that the poor wiring likely caused the failure. For the price charged, the workmanship and reliability were unacceptable. If you care about quality or longevity, take your business elsewhere. The premium pricing at Ricky Smith Audio doesn't match the quality of their work.

On top of that, when I received my vehicle back I lost audio functionality to my rear seat entertainment system after I specifically clarified before I dropped the car off. I dropped the car again to ultimately find out that there was nothing they could do about it. "That was my mistake. I'm sorry." and that is all. I ended up paying $1100 to lose functionality in my car. Unfortunately there is a significant lack of expertise in their field. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Watch a YouTube video and don't make my mistake.
