It's been years if not decades since I walked through the doors of any Target, I was definitely impressed with this location. This store seemed much larger than I expected and was very clean and well stocked - I came here looking for a throw pillow for my Mom but not just any throw pillow the criteria was it had to be functional verses decorative since she was wanting something small enough to support her head while reading in bed. I found a few at other retailers but everything I found was much to large and bulky, being this was for a specific application I needed to touch and feel it so shopping online wasn't going to work - what initially seemed to be a simple task was quickly turning into a scavenger hunt. I finally found exactly what she had requested and fortunately found a nice looking one because a perfectly sized pillow that was ugly as many throw pillows are wasn't going home with me. I chose the self-checkout register so I never interacted with any of the staff although there were plenty available on the floor as I shopped. Not that it mattered but what I thought would be an under $10 purchase quickly turned into nearly $30, but it does appear to be of decent quality and more importantly she loves it... read more

I don't go into Target often. However, it was kind of a last resort. This particular Target was clean, with wide aisles and products nicely displayed, I found something close to what I was looking for. There was minimal wait to checkout. Lots of parking, accessible parking and entrance read more

I left a one star only because I couldn't leave no stars went in target and they had a promotion if you spend $100 on diapers you get a $30 gift card got gift card tried to add it to my target wallet and it said it was invalid the purchase was made at a target in Houston didn't realize the gift card wasnt working till got back to lake Charles they told me they couldn't do nothing because it wasn't there store even though this is a big business and all targets were running this promotion even the call center was ZERO help said the only way it MIGHT could be fixed is to go back to the store I got it just another way for big business to scam you and not have to fix the mistake and steal from the working people that keep the stores open read more

Staff is masked and GIANT signs at entrance proclaim that you must wear a mask to enter. The locals don't give a crap and are either completely unmasked or have pulled them well below their chins all throughout the store. I've visited twice in the past couple of days and been disgusted with lack of Covid protocol inside. Minus the local patrons it's a normal Target read more

This is a pretty dirty Target, if I am completely honest. The store is not well kept nor organized. I had a good experience with the clearance section and found a swim top for less than $10. The employees were friendly and helpful, when asked. Living in Dallas, I am used to a larger store that is a little more upscale. Thus, my review might be biased. If I lived in a small town, I would be pumped to have a Target. read more

A smaller target than what I am use to but Target is necessary for me while on a road trip. My husband and I stopped here on our walk back to our hotel. We picked up some alcohol, water and candy. The essentials. I will note that the customers that come here are a little less than desirable. It seemed the cashier lines that were open had some type of issue due to customer ignorance. So Target do you. read more

I like shopping in Target. Their stores are clean, well-stocked and their prices are fairly reasonable. The ambiance of Target stores is great. Friendly employees willing to help....and dare I say it...a slightly higher class of customers than Wal-Mart?? I recommend this store for good prices, a happy shopping experience and a relatively stress free environment. It's cool that they also have some food here as well as a frozen and dairy section. If this Target had a full grocery section it would be my go-to store... The flip side is that returning anything is a hassle, whereas Wal-Mart will take absolutely anything back...not necessarily a good thing cause you know it's going back on the shelf. read more

Walked in for a bit to kill time and realized this Target location was a bit messy, unorganized and the employees seemed a bit mad perhaps because they live in Lake Charles? If you don't like where you live just move! It's not that hard sis...several hugs and kisses, nothing but the best for this Target location! Xx read more

We are a military family who just moved to Fort Polk ( Leesville LA). I purchased a ton of banana trees at Lowes then planned a day trip to the closest target to purchase some planters. ( Over an hour away ) So we drove down to Lake Charles and grabbed some black planters on clearance for $29. I was so excited for the jackpot price. Go to checkout and the kid says that because two different clearance stickers where on it he needed to ask the manager which one to go with. One planter rang up $29 the other $55 the manager proceeds to tell me that I might have pulled a ton of $29 dollar clearance stickers and put them on the post and that she will have to give them to me for $55 with 30% off and add on to make the ones ringing up for $29 to $39 . I asked her to go to the back and check the other ones I haven't touched and she will see that they are all marked down. She told me to pay the $55 with 30% off or put them back. I proceeded to ask why half are ringing up for 29 and all of the planters say the same thing on the original tags. She was so rude talked to me and my husband like we where stealing or doing something wrong. We left and I can tell you drive further if you're looking to do a day trip for a target. I'll be ordering online from now on. read more

I'm assuming some people must have low expectations for this particular store to have 4 stars. I took my teenage daughter and son here for the first time since I moved here 4 years ago and it was a waste of time. It was 3 in the afternoon, clothes were off hangers everywhere, it had a dingy smell, almost no bathing suits for my 14 year old daughter (unless I was ok with her dressing like a 23 yr old), then to top it off I took them to the "snack bar" to make up for the fact I drug them in this place and all they wanted was a hotdog (they were out) then popcorn (they were out) then a salted pretzel with cheese (no damn cheese). Such a waste of space. I've been in dollar stores better taken care of than this place. read more

Ok, let's be honest why we're shopping at Target. We're here so we don't have to fight fat people who are too lazy to walk. Yes, they are running around the store in there motorized fat carts with the handicap stalls that take up like 5 parking spots. Yes, every time I go to Walmart it's the same thing. Obese people too lazy to walk and she'd the pounds buying nothing but junk food and hogging up the Aisle. Target just has better looking people that have all their teeth. If your single in town, then this is the place to go. You always see good looking people wandering around acting like they are shopping when they are really looking for a date. Fun place to hang out.. read more

Conveniently located across the street from the SpringHill Suites. Picked up bunch of snacks and simple foods for dinner. It's not a Super Target so the selection is limited. Pretty clean and well kept Target. The lady at the checkout counter was super friendly and genuinely nice. read more

This particular target is pretty small compared to the ones I am used to. Decent selection in the baby department, but on the whole, the place just feels super lack-luster. I think super targets have spoiled me. read more

I am spoiled to Target. Much better customer service than Wal-Mart. Return policy is a bit of a hassle, but still useful.

Love this target it's always clean and organized. Plenty of workers around to ask help from, you don't have to search half the store. Their pharmacy is the best in town. So personable and professional. I've never had a bad experience with this target. read more
