I stopped in to mission yoga to take part in their week of free classes event (this is such an…read moreawesome promotion) & decided to try the traditional hot yoga class. The class was intense between the fast-paced flow of movements & the heat - but I enjoyed it! I liked the combination between strength based positions, balance, & relaxing stretches. The heat was a good temperature - not too hot but also leaving me with a good sweat. They also have a location in Scranton & offer a wide variety of classes including Lyra & aerial yoga. The yoga studio was very clean & had a nice aromatherapy smell to it. My only two complaints about the Abington location was the size of the room (it was a relatively packed class) & there are no lockers to place your belongings in while you're in class. Overall I really enjoyed the class & would return to do the traditional hot yoga or try a Lyra class in the future!
