Very early in the process, we felt that we were in good hands with Sweet Home Carolina Realty as we made an extremely quick move for a job transfer. Karen went above and beyond for us, including looking at houses with us less than two weeks before Christmas, even though she was suffering from a head cold! She expertly guided us through the mortgage process and was on top of all of the new regulatory changes that had occurred just months before we closed. She was also diligent in keeping everyone on the same page even though my husband had already made the move to Charlotte while I stayed behind to facilitate the sale of our house in Atlanta. I would highly recommend Karen and Sweet Home Carolina Realty to anyone in the Charlotte area who may be in the market to buy or sell their home.

She made us feel really important, which was something we hadn't felt with previous realtors. We were also impressed with her work ethic. The second she stopped showing us one house, she was calling or texting saying "what about this one? I can set up a showing whenever." Then when it came to the showings she was always the first one there and the house was open and ready. Lastly we appreciated her honesty. She didn't bite her tongue or try and sell us on something she didn't have a good feeling about. She made sure we were knowledgeable and privy to all aspects of the inspections and closing procedures. There's a comfort level she provides. Not pushy in the slightest and is fun to be around. Can't recommend Hayley enough!

It became a short sale situation and I quickly realized I needed experienced help in navigating the steps to purchase it myself. I used the resources on Zillow to educate myself on the different types of Realtors and once I knew what I needed I started keeping an eye out as I checked the daily listings. I found Carrie Fairman and she was all the things I needed: a local female that was licensed in NC that had short sale experience. Carrie is an incredible example of what a Realtor should be. She's mannerly, punctual, positive, informed, quick thinking, and not afraid to ruffle feathers to do what's right. Carrie goes toe to toe on her buyers' behalf not because she has to, but because she WANTS to protect her client. She's fierce in her determination to get them a fair shake and at the end of the day you just can't ask for more than that!! It took us 6 months to work my short sale deal that involved court dates and visits to the IRS office, but Carrie stuck right by me through it all. When I called - she answered. When I texted - she responded... every single time. Carrie was also invaluable when it came to connecting me to some amazing people including my mortgage lender, my closing attorney, my home inspector and my home warranty provider. I was determined to hire my own home inspector to be certain that I would get a fair and unbiased inspection report. I searched on Angie's List and found a home inspector that got 80 recent "A" reviews and it turned out that was the same exact home inspector that Carrie uses anyway, which said a lot to me :-) I really don't know where I'd have ended up if I hadn't found Carrie. I am SO TRULY grateful to Carrie Fairman for taking such amazing care of me during such a stressful process. I'll never forget her part in the purchasing of my first home... thanks Carrie!! :-)

She came highly recommended from a realtor friend of mine that did not operate in the area and she certainly did not disappoint. The chips were stacked up against the deal; I was a first time home buyer, looking in a sellers' market area (properties were selling on the order of a few days!!), and I did not live in the city I was buying in. To make matters more difficult I switched jobs mid deal (do not do this if you do not have to!!) and, oh yeah, COVID-19 was in full swing. Due to COVID-19 and not living in the city my ability to travel was limited, so I entrusted her 100% to do my deal virtually. Kristina handled everything, from finding the property to closing the deal, with such pose and grace that I never felt the need to worry. From video chatting with me at each property of interest to helping me identify a quality lender, lawyer, and inspectors. As a first time home buyer, that was not able to visible see what I was buying, I had an abundance of questions! She always found a way to settle my anxiety and ensured that I felt comfortable every step of the way. She walked me through the basics of how a deal is done and made sure I was knowledgeable of every decision that needed to be made and why. No question was a dumb question. She handled my deal with pristine professionalism and was always punctual with deadlines and appointments while being very attentive to my calls, text, and emails. To summarize the deal, we closed the deal under 30 days, slightly under market price, with a conventional loan with ~3% down. As I write this message in my new home months afterwards, I am still highly pleased with my experience. I would recommend the McLaurin Realty Group, particularly, Kristina Delgado to anyone looking to purchase a home. I realize that it can be scary, difficult, and stressful purchasing a home, but I couldn't have asked for a better first experience or a more astute realtor.

Her response time was always immediate which was important to me because of how hectic my life can be as a judge. If I had a question I didn't have to wait long for an answer. Once I told her what I was looking for, she "dived right in" and helped find exactly what I wanted. Kristina's knowledge about the market was vital in securing an amazing deal on my home, in a premier "golf course community." I walked through the front door with a huge amount of equity. She was with me every step of the way. Her dedication to me, as her client, was one of the many things that really stood out to me about Kristina. She gave me honest opinions on the homes that I looked at as it relates to not only the home itself (which she has a keen eye) but also matters that would impact my daily life such as the neighborhoods and surrounding areas, the nearby amenities (shopping, parks, schools) measuring traffic and congestion for my daily commute and thinking down the road about if I ever decide to sell my new home. She never tried to steer me into a direction to just earn a fee. On the day of closing, she was extremely sick but drove three hours just to be by my side as I signed off on the paperwork. She's truly amazing and a joy to work with. To top it all off, the weekend after I closed, I got six of my friends to help me move and she sent us pizza- everyone there ask me "What kind of agent did you get" and wanted her contact info if they ever decided to buy/sell. I can't say enough about Kristina Delgado. I'm renting my old house but when I sell it, I'm going to her. When I buy my next home, I'll have her by my side! She's passionate about her job but more importantly she's passionate about her clients because she realizes that they are "real people" and how special a home is to them and their families.
