Unfortunately, Ana is one of the worst people I've ever worked with professionally. She has a…read moreterrible attitude and will lash out at you whenever things don't go perfectly her way. Working with Ana is like walking on egg shells. You never know what's going to set her off. If you send her a text and she interprets it the wrong way, she likely to immediately quit on you. This is what happened to me. Ana is a very selfish person that expects everything to go her way and on her terms. If she even perceives that things aren't going her way, she can't handle it and will overreact and make irrational decisions. The main reason Ana quit without any notice for me after using her for over two years is because I paid her $275 for not working one week for me and she didn't like me doing that. It is the craziest reason I've ever heard for quitting. I was always very nice to hear, but it is never enough with Ana. You can compliment her every week for her services, and she still isn't happy. This is because she never feels adequate enough inside. Ana has personal and mental health issues that also affect her work and get in the way of her communication and how she handles situations. It's pretty much impossible to please Ana, as she always finds a way to turn things against you, including good deeds. I wish I would have stopped using Ana sooner so I didn't have to deal with all her drama and have her quit on me without any warning. She has tried doing this to me before, but I tried appeasing her against my better judgment. In hindsight, I should have stopped working with her when she blew up on me over how she interpreted a text message in the past and threatened to quit on me. Ana is a good cook, but her personal and mental health issues, as well as her short-temper and selfish tendencies are not worth the hassle. I highly recommend never taking a chance with Ana. There are much better cooks and people to deal with than Ana.

I am from Denver but live in CA currently and am planning from afar. Sent an incredibly detailed inquiry with day-of event timeline by hour, menu ideas, location (just a few blocks from their prep kitchen) and a bit about the event. Received two separate responses from he and his wife, Holly, seeking details already provided in my initial inquiry like guest count, location, time. Sent several emails back and forth clarifying capabilities, menu ideas, rentals etc. and finally had to set up a call in October (initiated by me after many proposal mistakes) to align. There was constant confusion regarding the style of the event and rentals - TBH, the many proposal revisions due to their mistakes maybe should have been the hint this might not be the best fit. But we went ahead! Terrence was late to the call on October 15 but let me know ahead of time and I genuinely didn't have an issue with it. After aligning, I paid $100 to have a menu tasting on Monday, December 22 when my husband and I would be visiting Denver from CA. So, this is a tasting that has been on the calendar for at least a month. When we arrived at our tasting (after confirming via email the week before and day of) 15 minutes before (6:45p) the scheduled time of 7pm, Terence is irate. Mistakenly, the event in my calendar was in PT (since we live in CA) instead of MT. He says that he refuses to serve us because we have "disrespected him and wasted his time and he has a 4-month-old at home." He continues to say that we are disorganized and lack care and that in addition to not offering a tasting, he will not put in the effort to cook for our wedding after how we've treated him. We are SUPER apologetic - this is something we've spent money on, confirmed via email and have been looking forward to. When asked why he didn't call to check on our arrival time, he said he "doesn't have my phone number. And you confirmed with Holly so that should have been enough." Because I filled out an entire inquiry on their website and spoke with him personally to schedule this tasting, it's BUCK WILD to say that you don't have my number and think sending an email is problem solving enough. We would have literally hopped in the car and been there in 15 minutes had we been given the courtesy of a phone call. All of this to say, we made a mistake, were very apologetic and were treated super rudely and given no tasting despite paying. 0/10 for TBD Foods.

We had a private chef come to our home two times a week and requested Mediterranean style low carb meals. Despite that, he consistently prepared high carb pasta dishes and heavier meals each time. We tried redirecting and clearly specifying the amount of protein we wanted in each meal, but nothing changed. The final time he came, he prepared one entrée, one appetizer, and two sides, and the total came to $600. The portions were enough for only two people. When we contacted the representative, they agreed that the price was unreasonable for such a small amount of food and told us we would receive a significant discount on a future meal prepared by a new chef. Unfortunately, it took over a year for anyone to reach out about arranging that replacement chef.

This is after months of the company trying to find a chef. I then bought the suggested Tupperware for the chef to use to store prepared food. The chef canceled the night before which left me in a pickle for the week as I did not have food for my family and work full time. The company could not find a chef once again. I finally just requested a refund. Eight months later and numerous emails, I am still waiting for a refund.

The experience from start to finish was excellent, and I cannot recommend them enough. Our group was a bit complicated with dietary restrictions, including shellfish allergy, gluten-free, vegan, no red meat, and no pork. Chef Rich worked with my husband and me on the menu over a few phone calls to make sure we could accommodate all our guests. He went above and beyond to ensure everyone felt included in the experience with thoughtful substitutions based on each person's dietary need! At his creative suggestion, Chef Rich brought an additional assistant/bartender to create a "cocktail hour" for us. The bartender crafted a signature drink that all could enjoy and made a selection of cocktails based on our group's preference. The team was friendly, professional, and clearly cared about providing an outstanding experience. We are so thankful for them and we were all so impressed. Hire them, you will not regret it.
