It was coming from behind the wall of a shower Sure Fix installed. The light fixture fell off the wall. I had a professional electrician come in and he stated the light fixture and several outlets were in installed incorrectly. A plumber came in to repair the shower but stated Sure Fix should be responsible for fixing my ceiling. Whenever I tried calling the secretary stated I would receive a call back because the owner was in Lebanon on vacation etc. unfortunately my husband took ill and passed and I finally called Sure Fix back. As soon as the owner left the house I received an expected bill and asking for half payment immediately. I called and stated I am a widow and senior citizen and do not feel comfortable paying in advance. I was told 'it was ok'. The next day the secretary called and was extremely rude and stated that Sure Fix would not be doing any work for me with no explanation. I asked to speak to Henry the owner and I was the is too busy doing sales.

We signed a contract with Sure Fix on April 5th for painting, carpentry, tile work, plumbing and…read moreelectric work totaling over $25,000 to remodel the house we had just moved into. Sure Fix's performance was decidedly mixed, and we would not hire them again. 1) 5-6 WEEKS LONGER THAN ESTIMATED Before selecting Sure Fix, Henry the owner told us the project would take TWO TO THREE weeks. In reality, they took EIGHT WEEKS, or 3-4 times longer than the estimate. 2) LATENESS NOT DUE TO ADDITIONAL WORK We added and subtracted work items after the work began, and the net cost of additional work only totaled about 20% more than the original price--a workload justifying only a few days of extra labor, and not a 5-6 week overrun. 3) ON MANY DAYS, DID NO WORK ON OUR PROJECT There were many days when only 1 or 2 workmen worked for just a few hours, and at least 10 entire days when no workmen came at all. This was a matter of health for me, as I have asthma and was adversely affected by the dust that the prolonged work period exposed me to. 4) THEY JUGGLE MANY JOBS AT THE SAME TIME Tony, the project manager, justified his periodic abandonment of our project by writing: "We have several jobs going on and we have to be fair to everyone." We felt, however, that being fair to us would mean completing our project, without gaps of inactivity, in 2-3 weeks as promised--but that did not happen. Instead, Tony wrote on a day when no work happened: "I have other jobs to do." 5) MADE MAJOR MISTAKES COSTING US TIME AND/OR MONEY Among other mistakes, a whole week was lost when Sure Fix erred by ordering a custom countertop made of the wrong material. In the end, Henry charged us an extra $1,500 for the substitute higher-grade material we ultimately selected, but we would have been happy with our previous choice for $1,500 less. 6) STOPPED COMMUNICATING AFTER LAST PAYMENT, LEAVING WORK UNDONE After we made final payment, we could see that final touch-ups had been done with the wrong paint, and those touch-ups now required touching-up themselves. I texted Tony several times and left a voice mail for Henry to schedule the fixes still due, but neither of them bothered to answer me. SUMMARY Their workmen were friendly and the work was generally good. But on balance, we would certainly not hire Sure Fix again. Before hand I requested that any other part of the property that was damaged in the process was to be returned to its original condition upon completion. When they were finished they left the property in a mess with my gardens destroyed and driveway deeply rutted.I am a 98 year old widow that is legally blind and lives alone, so walking around my property became dangerous. I called Kevin many times in an effort to get the property cleaned up with no response. Finally I got a call back with a dismissive tone that I found very insulting and he begrudgingly fixed some of the damage. Ive learned that when you are old and a woman people tend to take advantage of you and believe this is one of those situations. I am deeply dissatisfied and would never recommend this company to anyone. So please beware !

Some of the work his own guys did and some was sub-contracted. His guys were on site every single day and handled every conversation with the sub-contractors... and let me tell you - they were tough on the subs - if they were not happy they were all over it. The tile work done by their sub-contractor is amazing and included a complex design in the front hall to get a "tile rug" look - he quickly realized the design as laid out at the tile store was too small for the space and re-designed it on the fly - I get compliments from everyone that walks into my house. I have renovated 2 homes now and realize that either you want it cheap or you want it right. If you want it cheap - move on - Fleming is not your company... if you want it right - still fair pricing - but you want quality craftspeople - expect to pay for them - then go with Fleming.

Al had previously done some minor electrical work for me and completed renovations for my neighbors, so I already knew he was reliable. When I spoke to him about my basement, he offered thoughtful suggestions that completely reshaped my vision. The basement was originally finished by the previous owner back in the 70s--dark paneling, Berber carpet, stucco ceiling, and a stairway covered in sand paint. It's my family/TV room and updating it has been on my wish list since buying the house, but I never knew where to start. Al made the entire process easy and inspiring. Now, the space looks absolutely beautiful. It has fresh vinyl flooring, crisp white wainscoting, soft grey walls, a clean white ceiling, and new grey carpet on the stairs. Even the sand‑painted stairway was transformed with wainscoting and matching grey walls. Al also enclosed the furnace and water heater in a ventilated room making access so much easier. My Christmas village houses, which used to sit on open shelves, are now neatly stored in a long-enclosed closet at the back of the basement. The result is stunning--my basement looks so good that it makes the rest of the house feel outdated. The female individual didn't even give me the opportunity to really go over all my details. According to their website, they state "no project is too small or too big", therefore I was confused when trying to discuss my potential project that it was assumed by the female that my project was less than $7500! How do I know what my project could potentially cost?!?! I wasn't even offered the possibility of someone to come to my home to give me an estimate which is why I placed the inquiry. After all aren't they the professionals who can advise and quote?!?! I am very disappointed with the callback I received and do not believe it was handled properly or professionally!
