After having a bad experience some where else I said what the heck. I was able to schedule an immediate appointment after working out a few kinks with my insurance company, joy to the world. After that it was smooth sailing. The office was clean and spacious. It did not have a factory feeling as I had envisioned. The front desk staff was friendly and professional. I was able to complete my exam with ease after instruction and was offered music of choice to listen to while procedure to place. The technician was attentive throughout the procedure and supportive in the end. The next day my referring Doctor called to inform me they had received my results without my intervention. Now that's what I call service. It's nice when you don't have to be the middle man when your doctor makes a referral. Its bad enough insurance companies already makes things complicated. Its just one less thing to worry about. Thank you Zwanger-Pesiri for taking some of the stress out of today's health care.

No one wants to have to go to a radiology appointment but I'm sure glad it had to be here. This…read moreplace is beyond my wildest radiology dreams! It's the cleanest place and best service I've experienced in the NYC area and it was certainly worth this Brooklyn gal's trip to Long Island! The one thing I can't stand about doctors visits and healthcare experiences in general is how poorly the staff treats the patients and cleanliness of many of these facilities. If I see any staff member treating patients with no respect or not having 'patience for patients', it annoys me. This place-- the COMPLETE OPPOSITE! The bathrooms were clean and didn't even smell like bathrooms-- how common is that?! What?! The receptionists greeted me when I walked in the door. I turned around to see who they were talking to, but nope, it was just little 'ole me standing at the entrance. They were talking to ME!? Oh dear, I felt so special-- well I am! Lol They quickly checked me in which included a self-check in with their iPad-like devices and I wondered how they would work for some of their senior patients that didn't have grandkids giving them daily lessons on how to use the internet or and tech gadgets... One elderly patient kept asking questions about how to use the device and how to answer a question on the e-form. The question may have seemed obvious to others but he continued to walk up to the gentleman at the front desk multiple times for his help. You KNOW I was paying attention to the gentleman's face to see how patient he was with the patient. He helped him each and every single time, actually showed him what to do and smiled each time. Many medical facilities don't have the patience or simply care enough to be KIND to patients and have empathy for their health circumstances. The bedside manner was great! They are thorough in answering questions and explaining the procedure, and guess what? The assistant even held my hand as the radiologist performed my exam to make sure I was okay and not in any pain! I'm telling you, these other radiology centers in NYC aren't doing this-- I've been to almost all of them! This facility seems to have a diverse patient network and it feels like they treat us ALL the same-- with care, no matter what age, race, gender, etc. The radiologists realized I needed an additional test and got her staff on board to help me get fit in for a same day appointment and all I had to do was show proof of referral from my doctor. They got me in and out of there with the testing I needed to help my doctors and I make the best decision. I commend them for having a great deal of empathy for their patients. We already don't want to be there and it's stressful enough for us to even have tests and wait for results, but Zweger-Pesiri makes it SO much more comfortable for us. What a peaceful process!

This was my first visit to this location, and I came in for an HSG X-ray. Before the appointment, I was given clear instructions about what time to arrive, what medications I could and couldn't take beforehand, and what I needed to bring with me. I was also able to upload a copy of my prescription/referral ahead of time and was set up with a patient portal, which made the whole process feel pretty organized. Check-in was easy, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and I didn't have to wait long past my appointment time. The waiting room and facility were clean, modern, and well maintained, and there was enough privacy while changing and getting ready for the test. The technologist explained what was going to happen beforehand and was friendly, patient, and professional throughout. The test itself was mildly uncomfortable, but they helped make it much more bearable and a lot less awkward than it could have been. I never felt rushed, and any questions I had were answered. The imaging process felt organized and efficient, and I felt like everyone knew what they were doing. The radiologist also went over the results with me during the visit and explained that they would be sent to my doctor as well, which I appreciated. I had no issues with insurance, paperwork, parking, or finding the office, and check-out was easy as well. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would definitely use this location again and recommend it to others.

This was my first visit to this diagnostic Radiology center in Elmont…read more Despite the changes and restrictions with COVID; I MUST SAY that I was very impressed with the courtesy and effectiveness of the staff in the front office; which was amazing. Especially my initial interaction with the young lady who checked me in. Very courteous and professional - with such a compassionate nature. I cannot, however, comment equally for the technical staff. I had only one interaction and it felt distanced and cold. A patient having anything done medically ( however intricate or simple) is very stressed and tense - and that interaction with the technician is what calms the patient. My interaction was uneasy. I do hope that there are other technicians at this office who are more compassionate with their patients.

I called insurance and they spoke to the manager at 150 Sunrise Highway Lindenhurst NY. and told her that I did not needed approval from insurance. Still manager said I Needed to wait. When a person is in pain just need support and I was in lot pain and that manager make my pain worst. I ended up going to Northwell in Bayshore and did my MRI same day. It was a quick 5-10 minute wait to get imaging, I spend it usually munching on free snacks in the waiting area. The MRI was state of the art, and I got my imaging without a hitch. The the care from the medical staff was amazing each time and they were able to answer any questions I had. I got my results two days afterwards. Just make sure that if you are sending your results to your provider, have the CORRECT fax number or else there might be delays. Overall, out of all of the places I've been to for imaging, I recommend this place the most.
