I have no idea, but the toilet is working fine now. While he was here for the toilet repair I had Mike give me a quote for a water-powered sump-pump backup. I was prepared to pay whatever the cost and have no idea (again) if the $1750 I paid for it was "a good price," but the job is done and the peace of mind I now have is worth the cost of installation. Mike is fast to respond, local, and follows-through on his promises. All the work was done promptly and I wouldn't hesitate to use Mike again in the future.

After my central a/c unit stopped blowing cold air I figured I'd take a look at it myself. I found…read morethe capacitor to be a rusty, slightly expanded mess. I was able to switch that out myself but I was still getting warm air. After reading some other reviews I had no doubt who I was going to call. J&M had great reviews everywhere I looked. After my experience with them, I can absolutely understand why and thoroughly agree with all those reviews. I called and Phil answered the phone immediately. I wasn't sure when I would be available so I called my significant other to see if she could be there to meet him that day. Not only was he able to come out the same day, he was literally there 20 minutes after I told him she would be there waiting. In the end I simply needed a recharge. Fortunately he had the older freon available that my a/c unit needed. This stuff isn't cheap, but the charge was more than fair for the quick visit and the recharge. Phil had great communication and my a/c is blowing ice cold once again. There was plenty of opportunity to try and pull one over on my other half but that simply isn't what they do. They find the problem and fix the problem without trying to take advantage of the customer. It's difficult to find a company you can trust these days. I'm really glad I did and 100% recommend J&M to anyone needing HVAC service.

He let us know that our 16-year-old system had about a year left, if that much. And was he right. When the system died completely a couple weeks ago, he suggested what we might do given that we had a matched furnace/AC of the same age, gave a quote, and told us about the PECO rebates. Our new AC/furnace system was installed today and it works like a charm. Phil cares about his customers and does great work. He is reliable, responsible, friendly, and an expert at what he does. I immediately called the gas company and they came and shut off the gas line. It's the dead of the winter and now I have no heat. I didn't know where to begin. I checked the internet but nothing jumped out at me. I went on yelp and began reading reviews and I ran across Lawrence heating & air. I called spoke to a woman who was very pleasant and told me a tech could come out to assess the boiler to see if it was still usable. Joe came and he looked at it and said it it's a hazard. With all the rust and corrosion and not to mention whatever was on fire. He said it needed replacing. He talked to me about the options and stated I would get an email from the owner of my options. 30 mins later the email was there and everything was included. All the info I needed to know about the unit, specs, warranty, parts/tubing for replacement, price. It was a proposal. I reached out to Lawrence with my questions and he answered right away. I also stated my elderly dad lives with me and elderly need service as soon as possible. That was no problem. He sent me payment options as well. Once I accepted the proposal and date was locked in and they techs came the next day on time. Randy showed up first, then Joe & Chaly. They immediately put down floor draping and loaded all of the supplies , pipes , boiler, etc. They opened all the radiators starting at the top. All of them were pleasant and very Knowledgeable about their job. Any questions I asked Randy explained. They cleaned up behind themselves and made sure everything was put back in place. Once they were done Randy told me about my new unit and what was removed and put in. This company made the entire stressful event so much more easier, like a weight had been lifted. My house is warm and cozy thanks to everyone involved .. Great teamwork ! I would definitely recommend !!! Thank you so much to everyone that played a part in getting me back up in running !!

An A/C specialist ("FRED") from Superior Comfort Heating & Cooling LLC phoned me on Weds. afternoon April 24th 2024, and he was here before 8am the very next morning (Thurs) to inspect my split-type central A/C system. He quickly determined that the outdoor Condenser Unit and the indoor 'Coil' needed replacement. FRED then contacted my property manager. He returned before 8am the following morning (Friday April 26th) with several large boxes of new A/C equipment (Carrier brand), which he temporarily stored in the garage here. On Saturday morning (April 27th), FRED returned before 8am again, this time with a helper he called his "duct man". They wasted no time in getting to work. I was impressed and amazed by the speed and efficiency with which they worked together. Two hard-working, knowledgeable, experienced individuals working together seamlessly. They completed their work within hours, MUCH more quickly than I expected. They left absolutely no mess behind them. It went up to 90F a couple days later, and I was glad to feel that my central A/C system was now working like new again. Big difference. I highly recommend Superior Comfort Heating & Cooling LLC (here in Philadelphia, PA).
