Here's what I posted:…read more Hands You Demand was the fourth company that I contacted for an estimate to remodel a rental unit. Tee arrived on time and told me that he really wanted my business after reviewing what needed to be done. He promised me a proposal on Monday and got it to me Sunday night with a follow up call on Monday to answer any questions. Tee and HYD are the epitome of under promise and over deliver which is rare in their line of business. The project went seamlessly and Tee was always responsive to any questions I had. I can truly say it was delightful experience working with HYD and I will use them again. They also gave me a great price.

He was able to come over within days of contact. There was no clean way to remove the "overly" built in shelves, but after removal, he came up a genius way to repair the wall, and improve the look of the area. This involved a quick Home Depot trip. He was able to complete more than we booked him for, in a day. Job 2 - we couldn't solve our outdoor fence/gate latch issues, and once again he came by and solved our problems. Highly recommend.

The installer showed up completely clueless, dumped hundreds of parts all over our yard, and cobbled it together in a way that was flat-out unsafe. They've managed to scratch multiple pieces, which are now rusting, and the mess of boxes they promised to haul away are still sitting there. To top it off, someone showed up at my daughter's house today, where the swingset is, and started yelling at her -- unbelievably unprofessional behavior. Avoid these people at all costs. Scott McCown is "The Condo MD" or "The Condo Doctor," a condo handyman who's based in Atlantic…read moreStation in Midtown Atlanta. I own/live in a condo in Atlantic Station and actually met Scott in 2005, years before he became the Condo Doctor. He used to work for the developer who built the condos in Atlantic Station and he met with me around the time I bought my condo and moved in. He helped remove some shoe molding in my kitchen so my new fridge would fit. It wasn't until almost 14 years later I would run into him again; this time, as The Condo MD. I have (or had) a leak in my master bedroom and Scott was contacted by our condominium's property manager to take a look. Scott is one of the primary handymen that our property manager and homeowner association uses. Since he worked for the company that built our condos and he helped with walkthroughs and whatnot, he is very familiar with our building as well as other residential buildings in Atlantic Station and Midtown. Scott believes he found the source of the leak (door threshold on balcony of top floor unit) and sealed it. If the leak is indeed fixed (I think it is, *knock on wood*), I plan on using Scott to repair the water damage the leak caused to my bedroom (ceiling, sheet rock, paint, etc.). In the meantime, the toilet handle in my master bathroom broke. The parts were original (circa 2004-05) so this wasn't a big surprise. The handle had been sticking in recent months/years. I took a picture of the old hardware and texted it to Scott. He replied that he could fix my toilet and he was able to get to it in less than 48 hours. That was a lot quicker than I expected. Since Scott is familiar with our building, he knew what kind of toilet I had and what kind of parts it needed. I originally got a quote from Scott to repair just the one toilet ($115). However, I thought I might get him to replace the hardware in another toilet since its hardware was the same vintage. For two toilets, he quoted me $150 which I thought was reasonable. I could save some money by getting him to do both of them in one trip. Scott showed up on time with the parts and tools required. He was in and out of my home in less than 45 minutes. He did the work quickly and competently. My toilets flush great now and in the case of the broken one, it works like new again. Scott is a nice guy, knowledgeable, experienced, and responsive. My fiancee even commented on how friendly he was. He's definitely a valuable resource to Midtown condo owners and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

He came out to our house for a walk-through of the projects we needed and sent a quote shortly thereafter. He then completed the projects on time and without needing additional supervision, which was helpful as we were working from home, so there was minimal intrusion to our routine.
