We had two walk-in appointments at 4:30 on a weekday. They finished up the other customer and got us both in. I had a wonderful pedicure and she had a manicure. The team was friendly and attentive. They asked questions about what we wanted done and paid attention to the details. She came in with a nail that had a small tear pretty far down on the nail bed and he had a way to seal it so the nail could heal any tear more. Our nails turned out lovely. Extremely unprofessional. I went to them a few times due to the convenience of their location near my house, but every time I go, I leave with chunky nails or nails missing lots of paint. I always speak up for myself when I don't like my nails especially when I'm paying for it, but when I do speak up, they give attitude. I had a big dude do my nails the last time and he left my nails super chunky like he didn't even know what he was doing, and not only that, but all my polish came off within the week after his service too. I got gel tropical pedicure and gel manicure and it has lasted so long. Lisa was fabulous. She started conversation but when she noticed I wasn't really into talking, she stopped. worst pedicure of my entire life. @oahu stay away from jax nails in nanakuli. worst pedicure of my life. color doesnt match the swatch. dude cut the shit out of my toe without apology and actually stood by what he did. paid extra for a deluxe pedicure and my friend who paid basic got a hell of a leg massage while this dude just rubbed my shin bones agressively. the massage chair didnt even work. gel polish caked onto my skin and cuticles. Today I took my grandma here. We both had pedicures. We enjoyed ourselves. The place is clean and spacious. Everyone is friendly, I had Violet and my grandma had To (sp?). What we LOVED about this place is that we never had to wonder if the nail technicians talked about us because they all spoke English not another language and they were engaging with their clients. Before I went in I called to ask how much was their full set acrylic for? they said $30 so I went in on a Saturday & no one was in but 3 of the workers...nail tech was busy getting her eyebrows threaded done by another worker so I sat maybe for 10mins until they finally got to me which I think is very rude! Kept asking if these polish samples are all gel because I only wanted gel & they kept saying gel & regular so they didn't even help me with that. Nail tech started to do my nails & before I could ask her how long I wanted it she already started to cut her & said "Good?" Uhhh I kind of wanted them a little longer but it was already cut short. She did it kind of quick so I'm not sure how long these will last especially since the apex's isn't the bump size it should actually be but it's a little flat. Hopefully my nails doesn't lift soon since they charged me $57.59 for this which I'm guessing they charge $15 extra for gel since all I did was get a set done & gel polish & I gave her $8 tip which I think wasn't worth tipping but I'm too nice not to tip. but will update how long they lasted on me later.
