Most people in Colleyville hope this restaurant will get busy with many customers and survive, but…read morethe start has been a little rocky. The people working at the restaurant are wonderful people. Many Turkish people are part of the team and if you know the Turkish culture, you can understand the hospitality that is brought to the restaurant. Some of the dishes are fantastic while some entrees are sometimes overcooked/ dried out. Also, for the prices charged some dishes are quite undersized in volume. This is the 4th restaurant with the same ownership and with his success at the other three restaurants I suspect he will made changes to satisfy more future guests. So far a number of people who tried the restaurant one time have mentioned the same criticism noted above. But when people start receiving improved/consistent food taste & volume that matches the prices then that word can spread as well. If nothing changes the restaurant will not make it longterm. A good example is Napa Thai in Colleyville that in my view is the best Thai food in the region and is almost full every night. If this restaurant can serve the best quality people will fill up the restaurant as occurs every night at Napa Thai.

We were greeted and seated right away. Service throughout was warm and attentive, our server checked on us a few times to make sure everything was good. They started us with warm, crispy bread and a yogurt-based dip that was quite flavorful. I ordered the lamb shish kebab platter (well done), and we also tried the chicken shish kebab platter. Both came with buttery rice, a fresh salad drizzled with olive oil, and yogurt sauce. The chicken was tender and properly seasoned, but the lamb was the highlight. Lamb can easily turn dry or overly gamey if not handled right, but this was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor even when cooked well done, exactly how a good shish kebab should be. I skipped dessert this time, though they offer a few options, and I noticed what appeared to be a buffet setup, which I'm curious to try next. Overall, a solid, well executed Mediterranean meal. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

I shared the hummus appetizer with my buddy which was really tasty hummus served alongside fresh bread, pretty tough to beat right there. I ordered the lunch special with falafel, Adana kebab, and fries. The falafel was awesome, the perfect crispy texture on the outside of the fried chickpeas served on top of a small amount of hummus, really, really good. The Adana kebab had the perfect amount of heat to it, grilled to perfection, just really popped in my mouth with every bite. The fries were served with some type of seasoning on them and really just rounded out the meal. This place is in a modern, metal type building and well decorated. Staff was super friendly and took good care of us. I'll be back!

I ordered the lunch special, which includes one appetizer and one main. I chose the bean piyaz and the lamb shish kebab for $16.95 ($27.26 after tax, tip, and a drink), which felt like a good value for the quality and uniqueness. The lamb was cooked just past medium with a light char on the outside. It was tender, with only a hint of gaminess, likely due to the diet and quality of the animal. The bean piyaz was fresh and tangy, with red bell pepper and red onion that might have been lightly pickled. It paired well with the plain rice that came with the lamb. The crunchy rustic baguette was a nice touch. My only suggestion would be to serve the salad separately from the hot items to keep the greens from steaming. The space feels more like a high-end cafe than the casual food hall that it is, with properly set tables and a relaxed atmosphere. When I was there, only one table had customers, though I suspect most of their business is takeout, as it was for me. All the food was nutritious and left me feeling healthier. Except for the baklava of course, which was ridiculously indulgent. Nicely syrupy and crunchy, but undeniably caloric. I recommend dining in for a leisurely lunch.

The first thing that hits you is the smell: warm butter, toasted sesame, and just a hint of sweetness in the air. Everything looked freshly made, not just "baked today" but like it had come out of the oven minutes ago. I tried a few classics, and each one had its own personality. The simit was perfectly crisp on the outside with that signature sesame crunch, while the inside stayed soft and chewy. The baklava? Layers so delicate they practically melted, balanced with just the right amount of syrup--sweet, but not overwhelming. What really stood out, though, was the sense of care. Nothing felt mass-produced. You could tell there was real tradition behind every item, from the shaping of the dough to the way everything was displayed. If you've never been to a Turkish bakery, you're seriously missing out. It's not just about pastries--it's about flavor, texture, and a whole cultural experience packed into one visit.

I was nicely greeted up on entering and although it was Very small it appeared nice and clean. While getting my tiramisu I was also looking at some smaller pieces of what the gentleman explained was types of Turkish candies. He even let me try the pistachio one and OMG, sooo good. I then bought 2 of the pistachio ones, a hazelnut one and I forget what the little red one was. I haven't eaten them yet but super excited to try them all. The tiramisu was a generous portion and tasted good but definitely lacked a lot too. For me it needed to be more dense with less pudding filling and way more coffee/espresso flavor. Still good just not a true strong tiramisu taste. I will definitely be back to try some of the other wonderful looking bakery items. 3 stars only due to the bit of disappointment in the tiramisu.

Initially, the waitress was able to pull some tables together for us, but we still needed spots for about four more people in our group when we suggested pulling over one more table. She seemed to become frustrated and said she would need to run it by her manager. She brought us our drinks and then refused to take our order for a good 30 to 45 minutes. We could see her in the back, just playing on her cell phone. We tried to flag another waitress down but to no avail. Finally, after asking other staff members for assistance, another waitress who I believe was the manager, came over to serve us. She was very pleasant and kind. I tried the house omelette with hash browns, and it was extraordinary, really really delicious. The coffee also was extremely good. Several people in our group ordered the salads with lamb and those looked amazing. No complaints on the quality of the food. Everything was truly yummy. I'm glad the food was so good because it made up in some way for the poor service we received from our first waitress. I think the joke was on her though as we ended up leaving a large tip in cash.
