Stop 7 of 9 on our Hundreds of Hops self-guided US Hop Passport Brewery Tour Amazing Brewery Race…read more We had a long stretch of road ahead of us and we're pretty excited to hear that these guys put out a tasty pizza (one can only live on cliff bars and pistachios for so long)... we started with ordering 2 brews When they came, the hubs said "mine is definitely gluten free" except it wasn't. When he tried mine, he said he thought mine might be - it wasn't either. They did offer gluten removed beer but neither of the two we ordered were supposed to be. I do agree with him, they both rang of such... neither would be on my reorder list. 2/2/2/2 - all parties, all brews That brings us to the pizza. It was build your own & there were options on crust thickness, sauces and toppings. They hand-stretched the dough, which I appreciated &, honestly, it was a good pizza (tho I'd skip the mushrooms, as they were canned & the crust was a bit wet from it). The issue with it was we realized we spent over 2.5 hours here. That's a long time for a pizza, as we left immediately afterwards and opted to not get any more beer. The staff were nice and the gal working our table said she'd only been there a week. We were 1 of 3 tables, 1 of 2 with food.

Stopped in at Badass Brews while passing through Green River and it was such a pleasant surprise…read more The space is super cute and spotless, and the staff could not have been friendlier. The whole town was unbelievably quiet, so this place felt like the heartbeat of it and honestly the only lively spot around. I tried a couple of their IPAs (so good) and absolutely loved that they had gluten-free options that didn't feel like an afterthought. The chili nacho fries were amazing, though I definitely wouldn't complain if they tripled the amount of chili. Perfect little halfway stop, cozy, welcoming, and totally worth the detour.

So, my wife and I, and our 2 kids went to the Hitching Post today for a midday meal. We ordered $50…read moreof appetizers, including the cheese sticks and fried pickles. The appetizers were amazing, and I thought the rest of the meal had to be good. My daughter ordered grilled chicken alfredo. I ordered The Outlaw Burger, my son ordered the mushroom Swiss burger, and my wife ordered the chicken BLT. I'm deathly allergic to onions, as call in the emt's type of allergy. I told the waitress about my allergy, and she said no problem. She brings out my burger with a mound of sauteed onions. Had I taken a bite without looking, I would be in the hospital. All of the fries, for three of our meals, were soggy, and had no flavor. The two burgers were cooked so well done that they had to be gnawed on to eat them. My daughters Grilled chicken alfredo was in a bowl the size of a soup bowl, about half full, with 2-3 little pieces of grilled chicken. This for $23???? The entire order cost us $160 with a tip, and was not worth $40. The only exception was the appetizers, and they were way overpriced. Overall this is the worst meal I have had in the Green River, Rock Springs area, in 8 years. I will not recommend Hitching Post to anyone I know, and they will never have my business again. On a side note, the waitress was watching me do her tip, and kept checking over my shoulder, including taking a side detour, just to see what I had left her. She was nice, but have some class at least.
