They drove us in a yellow bus to Athabasca River, about 30-40 min drive from downtown Jasper their pick-up point. $64 each adult includes rafting introduction and complete gear. Only wear comfortable clothes and swimsuit under. There will be no shower or lockers at the river. Bring a towel to dry and small bag which they will keep locked in the bus. The rafting was so much fun! Ours was about 1.5 hrs long. Water alternates from calm to crazy rapids. We will definitely go for the higher class next time! Our tour guide was so entertaining and knew about the river and Jasper national park well. You can jump at the river at the end of the rafting trip! But it's glacier water so prepare to freeze after. They have a photographer! For $25 you will get a usb with DSLR quality photos of your rafting trip! Very convenient and the photos were rad! Thanks to the crew of Jasper Whitewater Rafting Company we had an amazing time!

I was in a group of 17, and out of the 17 of us 15 were in an extremely loud, rude, and disrespectful family. They not only disrupted the trip and disrespected the crew, but they completely crossed my boundaries to a point I was almost in tears. Maligne rafting did nothing about this. We were completely outnumbered and I felt unsafe. I cannot believe they allowed this to happen. Please have a modicum of respect for small groups in the future rather than just trying to squeeze every dollar out of us.

my friends and i did the sunwapta river 4 hour rafting trip when we visited jasper. it was a rainy…read moremonday in june, and there were 10 people on the trip, my friends and i making up four of the group. we got to ride together on our raft with three guides, whilst the other people on the trip who were in couples all rode together on another raft. we had so much fun! the guys on our raft were really great - friendly and talkative and explaining all about the things we could see around us as we cruised to the rapids. the water was high so we had a really fun (& wet!) ride, and had a total blast! everything was so well organised, right down from walking into the store on patricia street, to getting in the van, travelling to the starting point, changing into our gear, setting off into the river, getting back out of our gear and back to jasper. i highly recommend this company - fun, friendly and awesome!

My dear wife and I decided to…read morerekindle our relationship with Marmot's powder this year and given that my gear was long since given away, I was put into the unenviable position of renting equipment. "Unenviable" because my rental shop memories were of poorly set up, beat-to-hell ancient skis and boots that kind of, sort of fit. No longer. Strolling down Connaught Drive we decided to step into "Skis Please" and were immediately met with a friendly, enthusiastic staff. A quick glance at their boot rack revealed that this shop doesn't lend out garbage: the Rossignol Alias 100 boots were 2015 models and are considered "performance" equipment (an assessment I'll wholeheartedly agree with!). The skis were equally modern: no double-plank wanks here: proper convex hourglasses for all levels of skier are available, and all are in good kit. The tech who set up both our downhill and cross-country sets gets a special thank you from us: despite a constant flow of renters, she took the time to ensure we had perfectly fitting gear (again, the boots were better and more comfortable than anything I raced with 20+ years ago) and everything was set up flawlessly. Having great gear to rent is important, and "Skis Please" has that more than covered but even more critical is a great staff, and everyone we dealt with at the shop fit this criteria and more. They were efficient, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. As of now we won't consider any other rental outlet when we're in Jasper. Thanks, SP!

We said Elk, Deer and a bear. Saw a waterfall and glacier. Fred was a wealth of information. Highly recommend! Look the reviews on TripAdvisor. I copied and pasted my review here because I noticed too few reviews on Yelp. My son said this was his favorite part of our Jasper/Banff trip.
