Soheil Rashidchi, DDS - Rockville Dental Care - How clean she got them

I love her she has brought a smile back into my life again. I never thought I would feel confident…read moreabout my teeth.

The first time I went to this doctor,"Soheil Rashidchi", she and her assistant literally shoved me…read moreinto their x-ray machine as soon as my name was called without proper greetings, they seemed to be running out of time, the doctor was nervously rushing things and seemed irritable and I found that approach unprofessional. After looking at my X-rays she said there was a filling that needed to be done and several unrelated cosmetic dental services which were not absolutely necessary. I did not get a good vibe from the whole treatment that day so I did not return the next week to get it done, but I eventually thought I'd give it another chance just to get the filling taken care of and because they excepted my insurance. There was a lower back tooth on the left side that needed filling and she suggested there was a cavity on the front side of that tooth as well and could be done at the same time .. As I was laying in the dental chair and the anesthetic was setting in, she made a comment saying "now I get to do whatever the hell I want to you" which was very uncalled for and I thought it was totally inappropriate and was a cause of discomfort in that situation. Furthermore She had this inch and half thick plastic object shoved between my teeth on the right side in order to keep my mouth forcefully open during the whole procedure, something I had never experienced with any other doctor in my whole life. If patient is not unconscious and they can manage to keep their mouth open why would you use such uncomfortable and limiting device? Needles to say she did not do such a good job on the filling .. she created a , gap/space/food trap, between the tooth that needed filling and the one in front of it, in addition on the back of that same tooth, I don't know what she did wrong there, but I had a painful sore sensation that was there for three weeks every time I ate something. moreover I had to pay another doctor out of pocket who ended up doing the whole procedure from the scratch fixing all her mistakes. I did call Soheil Rashidchi and told her about the discomfort I went through and the fact that I had to pay $350, in my low income position, for another doctor to fix what she should have done right in the first place and asked her to at least reimburse half of this money she refused and expressed discontent with insurance companies not paying her enough. In short a case of a doctor doing careless job because of discontent with insurance payout and an unsuspecting patient suffering as a result. It is unfortunate and shouldn't happen.
