He caught errors in the deed before closing and required the sellers to reissue it before we'd proceed. That's exactly what you want from a closing attorney: Straightforward, competent, responsive, and no surprises. I would absolutely use him again.

Jeff handled the closing for the purchase of my new house and the sale of my existing house…read more During the purchase closing, he discovered a major financing error by my lender that resulted in a significant savings for me. And when a title issue showed up during the sale of my existing home, Jeff went the extra mile to uncover the title insurance policy from when I purchased the property almost 20 years ago. This allowed the sale to proceed with no additional cost to me. It's rare that someone makes you feel like they're dropping everything they're doing just for you, but that's exactly what Jeff did. I cannot recommend him enough.

I found Jeff via yelp for our Newton home sale in the spring of 2018…read more Our situation was somewhat complicated, and Jeff never wavered in his patient and thorough approach. Even when things got stressful, or other parties in the transaction threw unexpected demands his way, Jeff was always very professional, turned work around very promptly, gave us candid and good advice, calmed us down when appropriate, and made himself available for what we needed. We wholeheartedly recommend Jeff - he made our somewhat (ahem) "adventurous" home sale as smooth as possible. We wish we did more frequent real estate transactions so that we could work with Jeff more often!

One of the few times I ever look forward to going to an attorney's office…read more I had hit my wit's end when I came to Warshaw, Dicarlo & Associates with a multi-faceted real estate problem. I consider myself an extremely resourceful, natural problem solver, but I had gotten to a point where I simply didn't even know what questions to ask, and was starting to break my golden rule of never becoming emotional about a business problem. I've been meeting with George and Dominic, who are among the most engaging, pleasant people (not just attorneys) I've ever met. I come from a family of attorneys and bankers, and have built a rather narrow, framed opinion of both fields. I'm happy to say that this firm is simply the cream of the pedigree crop, that has opened my eyes on how real estate is and should be done. George and Dominic walked me through everything that I need to consider, were very clear about my options, provided suggestions, and most importantly, helped me understand the financial considerations of whatever path I choose. I highly recommend this firm for whatever real estate business you are engaged with in Boston. Simply beyond expectation.

I worked with one of their lawyers who did an outstanding job. Liss Law walked me through the entire process and ensured I completed all my required seminars to comply with Bankruptcy rules and guidelines. They filed all the paperwork for me which was very helpful because the process itself looks very overwhelming. During the bankruptcy proceedings I had a debtor who challenged the bankruptcy proceedings that their debt was non-dis-chargeable under bankruptcy law. It took over 2 years of back and forth with the debtors lawyer but in the end they caved and their entire settlement was discharged. Liss Law goes above and beyond to help you throughout the bankruptcy process and their dedication to knowing the laws, as they change, and their determination to get you out of debt is stellar and nothing less than what you would expect from a reputable law firm. Thank you Liss Law and my lawyer for all your help. I can now start fresh.
