Decided to check out this nail salon since it's pretty close to home after reading some reviews on here. The place is a bit older and not new and updated, but it honestly was still a good manicure. I got a gel manicure for $25, which is cheaper than my old place AND they were able to add glitter for no extra cost which my old place wouldn't do! I also got a pedicure since it's starting to get warmer and that's held up nicely! She gave me a nice foot massage and then massaged my neck and shoulders for free while my toes dried! It wasn't long, but you can pay for extra. But really it lasted about five minutes and was free so it was super kind of them :) I did not make an appointment since I went randomly in the middle of the day and I had no wait! My gel mani has been on for about a week and I have minimal chips. I'm a nurse so I use alcoholic hand sanitizer very frequently so a few chips I always expect with my nails but they aren't ripping off yet so I'm super happy about that, most places they usually do! Before I get into my problem, I'll start with my nail tech, Leah. (The reason for the two star rating instead of one.) She was amazing. She took her time and my nails look fabulous. I highly recommend her. My problem with this place lies in the pricing. I asked for a gel polish change. I've gotten them numerous times and they generally run between $15-$20. Apparently, there's no such thing as a gel polish color change at Jasmine. They charge you FULL PRICE for a gel manicure. THIRTY DOLLARS! Which is about $5 more than the average gel manicure but we're in Lafayette Hill, I get it. Highway robbery. I feel completely and utterly ripped off which I really hate. And if you get a regular gel manicure they charge $5 just to take off the gel polish you had from the last manicure! For most places that's included in the price. So for $25 here, you can get gel polish. It's $30 if you want them to take off your old gel polish and get a new gel manicure. And there is no such thing as a gel polish change. Would you like to know how much a polish change is with regular nail polish? $9. That's a big difference. $9 vs. $30. I didn't find all of this out until I was all done and at the cash register. It should have been made clear when I asked for a gel polish change that there was no difference in price between that and a full manicure. If I'd known, I would have tried out Harvest Moon Nail Bar which was about 15 feet down the road. I was on my lunch hour so I didn't have time to make it a big thing and, honestly, what was I going to do? The prices are the prices. Yes, I understand I should have asked about the price before settling in but I never dreamed it would be the price of a full manicure for 2/3 of the service. Buyer beware. My nails no longer look like a 5 year old child's. A little pricey, but they took a good amount of time shaping and sculpting every acrylic nail. I was used to paying only $25-30 for a full set (those were the days). A lot of places do not do acrylics anymore, so I guess that is reflected in the price. I went to Jasmine Nails & SPA and initially i loved it! My pedicure was amazing & i got the dip powder nails and was initially satisfied... however on day 4 of my dip nails it had cracked & then on day 11 my pedicure chipped as well as more of my nails. I took the nails off on day 11 because they were looking awful & chipped. I head the SNS dip powder was supposed to last for 3 weeks but mine couldn't make it 4 days. Neither could my regular pedicure. Likely will not go back due to poor pedicure & nail dip. read more

Pretty pink and white. They take such care and effort into your nails. The pedicure was so relaxing, nice massage and extra bonus with the hot stones. They also put something on my heels while polishing that helped it feel so smooth when leaving the salon. My first time here and can't wait to go back again. Update. I was so happy when I left the salon. After only a week, my pink and whites are lifting. You can see the color difference of where it's lifted. Most of them were not properly layered with the finishing top gel coat, so you can see parts of my nail are not shiny. I was looking forward to going there again, but will need to find somewhere that can make it last longer than a week. read more

Lisa did a fantastic job. Nails shaped and buffed perfectly. They looked so nice I almost opted for clear polish and could have left happy with "naked nails". Needless to say, the place is clean and staff is so friendly. A small neck and shoulder massage for 30 seconds after the manicure which was a nice touch- although I wish it would have lasted 3-4 minutes. I love my mani!! I will definitely be back. read more

Started a job in Conshy and wanted to find something close to run after work. It is now called Jasmine Nails. I got a bit turned around when I was looking for the name. I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The gel lasted longer than any other place I have been. The pedicure was nice to they soak your heels in oil! Great massage! Check it out. Someone purchased a gift certificate for a significant amount of money and we have come to find out that there are 2 Elegant Nails and just because on is called Salon and the other just Elegant Nails the person buying the gift certificate made a mistake and the owner of the Ester Cho will not refund the money so I can go to my normal Elegant Nails. Jasmine Nail Salon is wonderful! No frills decor, but very nice nail techs who clearly know what they are doing. I just removed a gel manicure that I had done at Jasmine over 2 weeks ago. While that might not sound impressive, I was very pleased because I have tried many nail salons and I've never had gel last longer than 4 days. I thought my nails were naturally too oily or something to maintain a manicure, but Jasmine proved that wrong. I will be returning for all future nail services. Salon is clean, they have ample color varieties and brands available (I prefer gelish brand), operators are very sweet, parking is available in a small lot, and prices are fair! Go here! read more

I was visiting this area out of town, and I needed my eyebrows done and a mani/pedi. I came here based on the Yelp reviews, and it was great. My nails are beautiful and my eyebrows were done very well, but what stuck out to me was how long and wonderful the leg and foot massages were that accompanied my pedicure. Also came with a hot stone rub, and an oil heel serum that soaked on my feet while she did my toes. After I had my nails done, I went to have my eyebrows done, and then they sat me back down to give me a hand massage. They also rubbed my shoulders while my nails were drying. Altogether, my total was $65 and I thought that was pretty good for all three services. I wish I could find somewhere like this by home. read more

She did a fantastic job with my dip mani but be aware they are very limited in colors! I was disappointed and will probably not be back because of this. She treated my nails carefully, without over-filing them like some nail techs do. But the colors -- you can only go if you want classic red, pink, nude, or a few other colors. Went here with a friend for a pedicure. The place is small but really cute inside and nice and clean. Selection of polish was ok. I didn't see some newer collections of polish but overall there were OPI and Essie options so that was nice. I opted for a pedicure with the added 10 minute lavender oil massage. The massage was not as strong as it could have been and felt more like a simple foot rub. Besides that the pedicure was lacking in the fine details. There wasn't a lot of cuticle work and barely any exfoliation. My feet still had dry skin upon leaving. For $45 I was expecting a thorough pedicure! My usual place is $35 for a spa pedi which includes much more. I didn't get my nails done here but my friend did. Her gel manicure looked good but yellowed after two days. I wanted to like this spot but I'm not going back any time soon. Three stars because as I said this spot was clean and cute plus the ladies working there were friendly. read more

I'm sorry to say that I will not be going back here. The woman that did my pedicure had no idea what she was doing. My toenails were not cut short enough although I told her 3 times. They were jagged and rough and she spent very little time on my calouses. Then when I sat down for my manicure, the owner said that she would do my nails. She was very rushed and kept answering the phone and giving orders to her employees. I spent over $50.00 and I was very unhappy with the results. Time to find a new nail salon where they care about their customers...this place does not! read more

I recently got a pedicure. The foot/leg massage was really nice but my nail technician really skipped over the feet scrub, cuticle trim, dead skin removal stuff. She basically rubbed my feet for a while and then painted my toenails. I was in and out more quickly than the 2 other women who were already in the other pedicure chairs before I arrived. I wish she would have taken more time to tidy up my feet. The other two nail techs were younger women, I walked in off the street and was serviced by the older/middle aged woman. I felt like $30 was kind of a lot of money for what I received. The salon also seemed really dark inside and had limited polish color selections. read more
