I was desperate for some relief with some postpartum issues. I consulted with another chiropractor nearby, but when I realized the cost difference to go through insurance, I came here. Dr. Kenzie has totally changed my perception and experience of chiropractors. In a short amount of time she has significantly helped me with movement and pain management related to postpartum healing. Here's what I really enjoy: 1. She pairs adjustments with exercises that make a difference. So, yes, there is work on your end to feel better - but it seriously makes a difference. 2. She takes it appointment by appointment, rather than another place less than a mile a way that wanted to sell me 3x/week for 12 weeks and re-exams every so many visits. Instead, I have seen change going every 1-3 weeks, but can make appointments sooner if I feel the need. Her adjustments are holding well for me and the exercises are really helping. 3. She bills insurance, so the cost out of pocket (or HSA) is significantly lower. 4. Dr. Kenzie is super friendly, caring, gentle and supportive. Her staff is friendly, too. 5. She doesn't waste time. My first adjustment was same day as exam and didn't cost anything more (another place charged me $170 for exam, made me come two days before adjusting me on second visit for another fee). 6. First, I did not receive their bill and I called my insurance company who told me that they just received it as well and it looked like the office staff of RiverCrest had forgotten to send the bill. Next I called Rivercrest and spoke with someone in their office and asked why this bill for a visit 6 months previous was just being sent now and they got real nasty. When I called the billing staff to inquire about my bill they had the opportunity to find out why I did not pay it - because they didn't send it and I didn't receive it. If they would have said, oh we will send you the bill I would have paid it. Instead they got nasty which is why they get a negative review. Customers buy more than a product or service, we pay for correct billing and follow up and when businesses like Rivercrest fail on their billing and customer service the entire business fails.
