That's so nice when at other places the same can take 2.5 hrs (exactly that at my last place, with no advantage to the extra time in terms of experience or outcome). - Great color. My first time there, my stylist suggested I go darker rather than lighter. Wow, she was spot on. Glad I took her advice. Color has worn far better with less fading than previous places I have gone. Not an expert, but it seemed lime my color faded by 50% between visits before, and now it's 5-10%. - Prices seem really reasonable for services. I saw one of the more experienced stylists and a cut and overall color refresh was $80. - Convenient location off Moorland and near National Ave. - No sales pressure to buy product. Helpful if you ask, but it doesn't feel they are trying to sell you anything if you don't ask for it. If I was reviewing haircut alone, I would give 4 stars. My stylist and I are still figuring things out, and by the 3rd cut we've pretty much got it. She has certainly asked all the right questions, and I've fuddled through describing what I want. I should also mention the services I have received have been straightforward - i.e. they are going to wash your hair, but not massage your scalp, etc. That's actually fine with me because taking out some of those add ons just makes the visit more efficient. I value that more being a mom who squeezes this in between work and the kiddos. At the same time, they aren't abrupt/seem hurried. I'm a bit perplexed there aren't more yelp reviews. She had time available that day and offered to do the color right on the spot, so I agreed. She was knowledgeable, took her time, and did a wonderful job! She did a combination of foil highlights and balayage on my long hair. It turned out better than I could have imagined and I have already received lots of compliments. That is so much better than dealing with someone on a phone in a cubicle in some other part of the world. The Walgreen's app is easy to use and very helpful, and it allows the pharmacy to send a text or email when my RX is ready to be picked up. This is a busy pharmacy so sometimes ther may be a short wait to get to the front of the pickup line, but the service is always worth the short wait. The only negative for me is picking up an RX via the drive-through. That seems to be a little too time consuming, but if I was a parent who had kids in the car with me and didn't want to come into the store I think the drive-through would be a good feature.
