This was the absolute best hair experience I have ever had. I've always been a bit nervous about…read moregoing to a salon. After all - your putting your future style in someone else's hands. Literally. However I booked the appointment hoping for the best. And I was not disappointed in the slightest. I was greeted at the door by a very friendly face - the same person who was cutting my hair. I came on for a cut, however you will see in the attached photo my hair was kind of... terrible. I called it seaweed. I had a terrible orange band of colour (from a box dye kit I used a while back.. pro tip. Dont do that lol) the roots were blue and the ends were green. In other words. A mess. Not even a hot one. Anyway. I digress. I had problem hair. So number one was to freshen my cut. Make it even, layer it, give it a side shave and keep the length. My stylist Natalia Titoud did an AMAZING job. Like I said however, I had initially come in for only a cut. While she was washing my hair I asked about colour - to make a long story shorter she said she could most certainly do that too. She also had time which was fantastic. Not only was she able to fix my awful hair - she gave me confidence. She also worked under my time constraint (as I had work that day) in a very professional manner. I will most definitely be going back. I have never been more satisfied with a salon experience in my life. My stylist was amazing. And even more so, the other staff were fantastic too! Helping each other out without hesitation when required. Friendly and relaxing environment. Yep. It's safe to say I would reccomend this salon to anyone. I waited a while to review this place as I wanted to see how my colour got along. It's been about two weeks and I have never had so many compliments on my hair. Ever. Also, the colour is still vibrant and as beautiful as the day it was done. I am. Very impressed. Many thanks again to my stylist Natalia Titoud and the La Vita salon and spa staff! An incredible experience that left me feeling beautiful and confident. Thank you! The photos were taken and the hair was styled/cut by Natalia Titoud.

I could tell instantaneously she was a hair expert in the way she handled my thin fine hair. She was so gentle, and gave me beautiful icy highlights. She also cut my hair into exactly what I asked for. Despite having thin hair most hairdressers talk me out of layers but I wanted them and she didn't try to talk me out of it and just gave me an expert haircut that was exactly what I asked for. So impressed and happy to have found my New go to hairdresser!

They are both amazing at what they do. Lisa is a master w color. She has taken me from light to dark and back again with the patience of a saint, bc I can be very indecisive. As the other review mentioned, she is the best at bayalage and ombré. Antonella gives precision cuts and blow outs and also does great job styling for special occasions. The salon is lovely, quaint and cozy in Lorne Park. I'd follow these women anywhere!

I went to M Salon a few times for root touch up and twice for highlights, it was a comfortable and…read morefriendly atmosphere. The last time I went for highlights, the colorist was working on someone else and left the chemical in my hair too long which I knew because she had a timer on and hit it twice to reset while she worked on the lady next to me. Once my hair was washed, that attendant called over the colorist to check my hair which turned into 3 extra toner applications. Between the first and second application, she tried to talk me into the significantly blond highlights on my dark hair. It was too drastic and I did not like it. The most disappointing part of this experience, was there was no apology for the lengthy appointment or error and I was charged an extra $75 for the additional toner requirement on an already high fee. I have not gone back since and would advise anyone to think twice. It's fine to pay a lot for consistently great service and quality outcomes but this is not the place to count on and they clearly hide their inexperience.
