Excellent service -- greeted upon entry and our questions were answered quickly and thoroughly. The food is incredible! Tacos are full with meat, not light in portions. The asada (steak) was excellent and juicy. The carnitas were tender. The lengua is well cooked and absolutely my favorite! The menudo was excellent-- the tripe practically melted in my mouth and had no gaminess! So we ordered 2 more! The caldo de res was good, the meat was tender and was tender to the bite. Corn, green beans, and zucchini were all drenched in the broth and were also amazing! The interior is warm and welcoming with colorful flags across the width of the dining room. Spanish music plays loudly and proudly over the loudspeakers. Highly recommend! Will be coming back!

Flavor was off and service was not great…read more We ordered online, but upon arrival asked to dine in as it was more of a fast casual type of place. The staff said it was fine. We sat at a table and had to clear the table ourselves. It wasn't until we put our food down that someone came by to wipe up the table. I know that we already paid, but it would have been nice to be offered some water or sharing plates. We would've tipped if that were the case, but the staff seemed to not want us there. It was an uncomfortable experience. It could have been our fault for ordering to go then dining in, but it still would have been nice to get treated a little better. The Birria pizza itself was not very good. The meat lacked flavor and it had hard, dry pieces in it. The Birria sauce also lacked flavor, yet was so salty at the same time. I won't return, hopefully can find a good Birria pizza in the cities.

I'm not quite sure what I was expecting but not something this stellar!…read more I ordered the Grilled Shrimp Taco, and it was a flavor bomb! The shrimp were very flavorful and the whole thing just came together nicely. Yum! Second was a kid's menu Quesadilla with ground beef which needed absolutely zero sauce because the meat was so well-seasoned. The tortilla was soft and nicely grilled. A definite winner. It came with beans and rice on the side, neither of which was special. The take on Street Corn was different, a soda cup of corn with the street toppings on top and layered in the middle. The sauce tasted like mayonnaise and I didn't care for it. It was like canned corn with some stuff on it, but one miss on an otherwise home run of a meal wasn't bad. The Queso Blanco was a perfect consistency and the chips were good if lacking salt. Note that the queso is about 1/4 cup, a small portion perfect for me. I tasted all three salsas and loved them, especially the salsa verde.

Enjoyed sitting outside, dipping the chicken in the variety of salsas from the salsa bar! Very flavorful sauces! Next time I'm in the area, I'll come back and try the chicken again with some tacos.
