But nobody, not even the good ones, can touch the level of care that Shor provides. He is off-the-charts smart, and he's dedicated to highly individualized care. He is open-minded but conservative, and his instincts are to be relied on without hesitation. He is also an exceptionally kind and decent man. When my daughter was quite ill and running low on options, Shor stepped in and saved the day. Since then, he's provided her with first-rate care as her general practitioner. Don't really know how to put it without sounding over-the-top and silly, but please take my word: He is simply the best there is.

Liked the provider, though. I had hopes for this office becoming my new primary care. They were recommended by a friend, but nothing seemed to go right from the start. I was informed patient intake forms aren't available online. I have a hand disability, so writing is hard. How are these not available digitally in 2024? They offered to snail mail it, and I laughed pretty hard. Ended up with numbness and pain filling it out in person. Next, the waiting room is far too small. There were more people than seats, so I chose to stand. For 45 minutes. Got there 15 minutes early, as requested, and wasn't called back until exactly 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment. No regard for my time, not informed they were running late. I have to assume this is standard practice, but my friend swore it's not. I saw the NP and was genuinely impressed that she listened to me and spent a good amount of time going over my health history and current concerns. As annoyed as I was initially, I felt this could be a great start for me after my previous care provider of over a decade left the practice where I saw her. I went home feeling relief that I found a good provider. Nope. I was wrong. I mean they seem to provide good medical care, but I was wrong that my search was over. Two weeks later I get an email my lab results are in, and while checking them out I see a message from that same morning about billing in the portal. I look, and somehow I owe them over $200 for the visit. My insurance covered nothing. I called, asked why, and was told I'd hear back. This didn't happen, or at least it didn't happen before the (presumably) automated system contacted me via email and text to say I owed the same money. To be fair, I actually LOVE the aggressive billing notification. Other offices send incidental invoices via physical mail and I never get them. This system ensures I pay on time, which I'm a big fan of. But I'm not a fan of everyone overlooking the whole "your insurance isn't accepted" thing when the first question I had when scheduling my appointment on the phone was "do you accept my insurance?" and they TOOK MY INSURANCE NAME, MEMBER ID, GROUP ID, AND SAID YES. WTF. You had one job. Could you please do it? On the phone with the front desk again after the latest digital reminders to pay, I was informed I owed the money and my insurance isn't accepted. The operator then became rude and said, with a healthy dose of attitude, that they could write off part of the invoice and reduce it. The implication, heavy in her tone, was "if you're too poor to pay" and I kind of wanted to smack that tone out of her voice. I informed her that they did provide a service, and I wasn't trying to get out of paying. I just wanted to know why the insurance I was told was accepted was in fact NOT accepted. I also let her know I will not return because there's no point in doing so. 4 stars for all the promise and because my experience is hopefully uniquely awful and not indicative of the practice overall. The friend who recommended them was STUNNED by all of this, so fingers crossed it's just me who gets this uniquely awful experience. Docked the one star for, well, everything mentioned above.

She takes care of what is needed to ensure my health and helps me improve through eating, exercise, and self-care. I used to go to the Tyson's Corner location, and it was a great office, but you had to pay for parking there, and it was at least $3.95 and more the longer you were there. For the Reston Town Center location, you have to start a parking session, but as long as you are going to be an hour or less, parking is free. I have never been longer than 45 minutes for any of my visits. I am very happy with this location. The front desk staff is excellent, well-trained, knowledgeable, and people-friendly. My primary care physician is truly amazing. Dr. Gannon's schedule is booked way out, and that indicates she is a great doctor with a great following. Besides her, I have only seen Alicia, one of the many fantastic PAs with One Medical. I have seen Alicia a few times, and she is wonderful, very caring, and helpful. One Medical is where you should be if you are looking for a good practice. There are lots of great physicians to choose from and see, and I am very happy with them. I highly recommend them and this particular office. I've been a patient in this group for about 2 years and found this practice through Yelp when I was looking for a new PCP and practice.

I received no…read moreresponse from the following sent on February 27, 2025, so after much research, we joined the practice of Dr. Elizabeth Weaver in Herndon. Outstanding front desk staff. Dear Dr. Mir and Dr. Zahir, Dr. Mir, thank you for the time yesterday to discuss x's Vitamin D levels, and a few front office concerns. I totally get that there is a demanding job to be done for so many patients, but I wanted to share my experiences shown in the attached of phone calls diverted to text and DAYS to respond where often I'd have to choose between calling again or texting again ... or just moving on with my life to figure my question out for myself, managing two littles, a household, work, teaching, volunteering, etc. I was so sick in September and am deeply grateful for Dr. Zahir's immediate diagnosis of pneumonia, but I had a follow-on concern regarding a prolonged roller-coaster fever that wouldn't break for several days. It was FRUSTRATING to call, get diverted to text then have the texts ignored for days. It was FRUSTRATING to not be able to have a simple question answered - should my daughter and I get our bloodwork taken first before having a follow-up regarding our Vitamin D levels? If yes, could someone submit bloodwork orders? Again, no one picked up the phone, my text was misunderstood, and it took far too much time for me to chase down an answer to this simple question. It was FRUSTRATING that our follow-up appointments were canceled. It was FRUSTRATING that it took so much time to find an alternate dates/times. It is FRUSTRATING to receive four texts in a week to confirm/check-in for any appointment. It was FRUSTRATING to pull my daughter out of class only to have the receptionist tell us not to come in because the appointment was scheduled as virtual. I had planned to be in person because I wanted to have her BP checked after she recently experienced super low BP from a serious flu. It was FRUSTRATING to have her later in our conversation say, "Well, you can come in if you'd like." Because the appointments were now pushed back to 3:15 and 3:30, I would have been late to pick up my son at his school just down the street from your office as I had originally planned. It was FRUSTRATING to receive a demand call ten minutes before our follow-up appointment on February 27, shaking me down for payment after the FIRST AND ONLY bill was emailed on February 11 that, if not paid, we could not keep the appointment with you. It was FRUSTRATING that she didn't explain upfront: x amount is for x service on x date for x person. She whizzed through the balance due without explaining these details until I finally said, "Hold on. Why haven't I received a bill until now for appointments in September and October?" to which the response was, "We emailed you a bill on February 11." It was FRUSTRATING that I have concerns about my own health but didn't have time (or demeanor) to have a focused conversation with you yesterday. Hopefully I'll find time soon to go through the process of calling, texting, waiting then needless back and forth to set an appointment. May I respectfully suggest going through patients' calls and texts, observe how patients are treated, and perhaps it will become apparent that simply picking up the phone to talk with patients, not forcing patients to text their concerns, clearly responding to them within a reasonable time frame, and, most of all, have a CARING attitude will make a significant difference. As healers, you and your husband know as Maya Angelou said, Patients "will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel."

I can tell already why he makes lists of "the greatest" in the region. Other pluses? Super easy parking and on-site bloodwork! All the staff were also very friendly and professional. I'm already so glad I chose this practice.

SO, as mentioned above I needed an urgent care facility as I was feeling beyond miserable and my local tried and true facility wasn't open for some odd reason so I searched and found this establishment. Reviews were great so I said perfect, yet upon arrival I literally sat in my car second guessing even going in because I've been spoiled by the likes of Inova and Patient First where "curb appeal" is a thing (& matters). Yet I got over myself and went in because as I said I was sick! Upon entry I again said maybe I need to keep searching because you literally can see the dust on many of the items that are both on the floor and strewn upon the tables and walls .... and there's so much tattered signage on the wall you don't know what to look at or what's relevant .... But the service! The front desk woman was phenomenal! Her "bedside manner" was top notch as I listened to her ease the worries of folks on the phone and simultaneously take care of me and one other patient. She was truly the shining star of this establishment. And my wait time was non existent which was really nice! I completed paperwork, insurance was verified and the doctor saw me right away. The doctor was interesting because I felt as though she was more interested in my nail design and handbag than in truly paying attention to what I was sharing about my illness.... But she diagnosed me and sent my prescriptions right over to the pharmacy with no issues. So, as I said in the beginning, tough review to write because the service provided was pretty good, however, the packaging in which it all was wrapped was tattered and we all know presentation matters, so, this was a one and done experience for me and I'll be returning to Inova or Patient First where I feel cleanliness standards are met,
