I really want to give a better review but unfortunately the treatment didn't work at all. Came here due to his reputation as being one of the students of a TCM master from Taiwan. Went for several treatments each one cost between $210-$240 which includes acupuncture treatment as well as only 1 week of herbal medicine. Basically a month of treatment will cost you over $1000. He is a very nice doctor and his staff are all super nice as well. Sadly the treatment didn't work for me at all. I ended up going to a different TCM doctor and the other doctor was able to give me a drastic improvement in just 1 week and charged me a quarter of the price. read more

The doctor and the staff at the front desk are all helpful and friendly. The staff are thoughtful. I went to see this doctor during my first trimester. He gave me herbal medicine that helps with my eczema that started when I became pregnant. The herbal medicine also helps prevent my feet and legs from being swollen. It works. I took the medicine for about 3 months. I'm in my third trimester now and no eczema and feet are not swollen! So thankful! Dr. Jang reputation exceeds the real results. I went to him because a few friends highly recommended him. I gave him 1 year of my life, took all the herbal or non-herbal things and all the traditional Chinese acupuncture needles, and any treatment recommended by him and his team. I paid out of pocket every week $80, without any insurance. After substantial amount of Money, Time, and Efforts spent, I finally call it quits because under all these time I had to endure severe allergic reaction to the herbal medicine, while they continue to tell me that it is normal reaction, and all these paid off for NOTHING. I just had an ultrasound exam, and compare with a year ago, there is no effect of Dr. Jang's treatment. I recommend you go to your western medical doctor for treatment. read more

I don't usually write yelp reviews, but I decided to make an account just to write a review for Dr. Jang! He is the MOST compassionate and humble man I have EVER met. My mom has been going to him for the past 3 months, and I have had front row seats in watching her health improve. He gives her hope that she will be able to get healthier; he gives ME hope that I will have my mom around for a long time to come! Herbal medicine is not for the quick fix, and he is clear to make that point. Patience is truly a virtue, but my mom and I have complete trust in him when he says that she has hope in regaining her health. I've met people in the clinic that drive more than an hour each way to see him every week because he really is THAT good. He understands how the human body works, and he knows how to fix it when things goes wrong. (He also has hired a team of people who specialize in certain areas ie. chiropractor, etc) Dr. Jang openly shares his knowledge and teaches you how to improve your health. I am currently in medical school, and I have learned so much from him in this short time, which I will carry into my future practice. I was diagnosed with a breast disease two years ago. I went to a Top Surgeon at L.A's biggest hospital and they told me they don't think they can cure me. They gave me high dose of steroids and antibiotic for a year and did not help me much. I went to another Acupuncture Dr. for the whole year who claimed she has family secret herbal medicine that can cure me, but she did not cure me. The disease eventually died down for a while. If I were the previous rater, got cancer, after one year and $6000 of herb medicine, the cancer did not grow, I would be quite happy. I have to admit first, that I am not a true believer of herb medicine. My wife suffered from insomnia, anxiety attack, tight neck and back from years. The mainstream medical professionals couldn't identify the problems or provide effective solutions. So we turned to alternative, among which Dr. Jang is the best. Dr. Jang is very friendly and compassionate with his patients. I've had the treatment for about two months (taking herbal medicine and acupuncture). I would say I feel a lot better. I didn't 100% believe in Chinese medicine but now I guess it really depends on the doctor. The charge is on the pricey side and I had to pay out of pocket for a few visits, but I think it's worth it as long as you are feeling healthier. read more

As soon as I completed the inquiry form and sent to him, I received a full box of herbs within 3 days in priority mail. I'm writing a review because I've witnessed my friend going through Dr Jang's treatment trying to get pregnant. She wanted all instant results and she almost gave up!! She still remembered that Dr Jang recommended her to start living a healthy lifestyle from organic food , enough rest, exercise and Yoga; because just depending on his accupuncture therapy and medicine won't work alone. He is not a magicians or miracle workers or GOD.. honestly he is just a caring doctor that help his patient with all of his capabilities. A cold/flu came back on me strongly when I thought I was done with the cold after a week of rest. So I went to see Dr. Jang because I know the second hit would keep me sick for weeks based on my past experiences. I found Dr. Jang from Dr. Nhi's web site recently. It appeared to me that not only Dr. Jang was kind, thorough, and knowledgable, but his assistants were very nice as well during my visit. In addition to my cold, he also taught me how to relieve my skin irritation which has bothered me for more than 20 years. And it works. Prior to going to Dr. Jang, both my husband and I read most of the books by Colin Campbell, Ph.d - THE CHINA STUDY; Dr. John McDougall, Dr. Joel Fuhrman, Dr. Dean Ornish, Dr. T. Shintani, Dr. Eselstyn, Dr. Neal Bernard and others who all say - to help reverse many of the MAJOR ailments & good health, we must eat a plant base - low fat diet instead of the standard American diet which is overflowing with fat, very little fiber and is highly processed. SCIENCE PROVES what all these doctors have been advocating for many years. My husband and I have both seen a tremendous amount of improvement after changing our diets and under the care of Dr. Jang. Dr. Jang is an extremely talented, humble, caring and intelligent man. We drive more than 2 hours one way to be under his care. Excellent doctor, very compassionate knowledgeable. I have severe eczema (about a dollar coin size) on my ankle. It itched constantly, was very inflamed. I tried everything from western medicine (cortisone) to even things like Aveeno oatmeal lotion for eczema. If you have eczema, you'd know that these two options provide only temporary relief, since it always come back in a different spot (if it disappeared at all), or it stopped working after a few days and it would itch again. I think I developed immunity to both since both options stopped work after less than a week. I was just about to give up until I made an appointment with Dr. Jang. I've been going to him for 3-4 weeks now, I took my medicine every day (18 spoonfuls of bitter powder, but totally worth it!) and followed his advice of eating slower (30 chews per bite). Now, my ankle is completely smooth, I haven't scratched at it all for at least 2 weeks, and I am very hopeful that I will make a complete recovery. Thank you Dr. Jang! read more
