They said they would not do that until they knew who was doing her brows. This has never been like that before. So we made an Appointment and came back. It ended up being quite a bit longer, closer to 30, while my daughter and I received looks from one stylist who was taking her time brushing and playing with a little girls hair which was already done, but she was waiting for her mom to be done with another stylist, so I guess that meant we had to also wait. My 11 year old daughter was there to get a simple haircut with long layers in the back and face framing layers. I showed the stylist a picture. She was not very friendly from the very beginning. She cut a bit from the bottom and asked how it looked but it wasn't enough so I asked her to do more. I felt like I was putting her out. When she was all done I noticed there were no layers on the side of her face but I decided to let that go and get out of there. When checking out she charged me for an adult cut so I nicely asked if it was 10 and under for children's cut prices and she was less than friendly when she replied. I left with my daughter and found out on the way home that while washing my daughter's hair she jabbed her in the eye a couple of times and didn't even apologize. Not happy at all.

Let's just say she did not, she completely fried my hair, she didn't even rinse the dye out. Not only that it wasn't magenta, she said she didn't have it so she tried to mix the color. I ended up with purple. they said they talk to a manager and get back to me. When they got back to me, they offered me an appointment with more experienced stylus. I went in. She tried to fix it. She couldn't. She said there was nothing she could do and she was sorry, but she didn't feel comfortable putting any more chemicals on my hair . Keep in mind I'd already paid several hundred dollars for this process. I was told a manager would get back to me they never did. i'm sure for simple styles and haircuts or color. They're probably great. But if you can't do the fun colors, just tell a customer that upfront and don't lie to them. These hairstylist had no idea how to do an ombre. She is friendly, easy to talk to, and just real. Sometimes the women I've seen at other salons can be a bit fake or flaky, but not Ashley. She also knows her stuff. Over the years she has taught me a lot about skincare. At each visit she takes her time to do it right - carefully waxing, tweezing, and everything else. Some staff at other places I've visited can be lazy or careless, but never Ashley. Also her prices are AMAZINGLY LOW. She could charge so much for her level of quality work, but I'm so thankful she's affordable for us folks who don't make that much money! (Lol). Ashley is amazing!!!

Her arm and hand massage melted all the tension out of my body. Darla is also very knowledgeable and took the time to educate me on skin health and care, which I really appreciated. I'll definitely be back for another facial soon, and my husband can't wait for his upcoming back facial and stone massage! A wonderful experience all around. I have a feeling Darla will be booking up fast, so I'd call today and schedule your appointment--you won't regret it!

I read some reviews and called Metro Salon hoping there was an opening- and Jody picked up and found time for me the next day! I don't write a lot of reviews--- but my experience was SO GOOD I can't help myself. Jody is a true expert. She asked a bunch of questions to get to know my hair type and what I like, then dove right in. Gave me an incredible fresh blunt cut (exactly what I wanted!) without cutting off too much length- then gave me gorgeous natural highlights at the exact tone I was looking for. Seriously, I have been getting the same combo for 20 years (trim and partial highlight) and this might be the best one yet. She also took the time to give me a cute style that stayed around through the holidays. I'll be booking time with Jody every time I'm back in Toledo. Thank you for a great experience Metro!
