The new owners as of 2017 spent time to really highlight the history and it shows. From their website: Built in the late 1800s, the Post Office, located right next to the famous Moss Vale train line, linking Sydney to the Southern Highlands, was the main official building of this small town. ​ It played a vital role as it delivered mail to its inhabitants as well as provided constant communication between the city and the area to visiting governors. ​ It stayed as a Post Office for over 100 years. The inner decor incorporates industrial style stools, with one long communal table, and benches, plus tables and chairs, and fabulous natural stone walls and wooden shutters give a dash of French style. The barista produced an excellent coffee, Gabriel Speciality Blend, vibrant, smooth, with a pleasant after-taste. The service was efficient and friendly, a very enjoyable, relaxing start to the day.

Plenty of outdoor seating, friendly staff, good service, great food, what else can you ask for? I had the pot pie from the specials board which was absolutely amazing and my wife had the chicken salad which was also awesome with loads of chicken heaped onto the plate. You can also try a local wine for only $7.50 a glass with your meal which was pretty good value. Like everything in Bowral, its not cheap, but at least here you get value for money and a great meal!
