This is now The Post Office cafe and it is indeed very cute and charming. The menu does not change daily, but they have some nice standards and the interior has been lovingly updated to reflect the heritage nature of this place (the original Post Office in the little village of Moss Vale). The new owners as of 2017 spent time to really highlight the history and it shows. From their website:
Built in the late 1800s, the Post Office, located right next to the famous Moss Vale train line, linking Sydney to the Southern Highlands, was the main official building of this small town.
It played a vital role as it delivered mail to its inhabitants as well as provided constant communication between the city and the area to visiting governors.
It stayed as a Post Office for over 100 years.
In the 1990 it began morphing into offices, a bank and 20 years later, cafes.
In March 2017 restorations began to bring back to life, and back to the 21st Century, this beautiful heritage listed building.
It is situated right in the midst of Moss Vale, which is no longer a little sleepy, country town but, a vibrant place to be with now, an array of boutiques, restaurants, shops & an easy train ride up to Sydney (or down to Melbourne).
