Initially was signed up to State Farm through an insurance agent that worked for her. Once my insurance agent switched to another office Jane Lee was my new agent. I was not informed she was my new agent. I had no information on Jane Lee. I had no emails regarding my account. My payment stopped going through for some reason, it just dropped from auto-billing. I wasn't informed that it had stopped billing me. By the next month come I get a call from my old insurance agent looking into my account because I had added another one of my cars to her in her new office. She had said my insurance was inactive for 2/3 of my cars that I actually drive. Jane Lee hadn't called me, emailed me, or informed me that there was an issue with my account or that my insurance was in-active. After speaking with Jane Lee I had requested to be transferred to my old insurance agent office. She said she would do it. Then after a few exchanges told me she would walk me through how to do it myself after she said she would do it. Then I asked her specifically if she would do it for me like she said and she said yes. After a few more exchanges at the end of our phone call she ended with "call me back monday and I will help you change to another office". I never called her and she has never followed up with me. I don't think she knows how to do her job or cares at all about her office. I recommend if you want to go with State Farm to go with a more reputable office. read more

State Farm is, quite simply, the worst business I have ever dealt with, in any industry. The company has no idea what they are doing. They don't update contact information, they send inaccurate statements, they ping-pong you across various customer service reps, none of which know what they are doing. Jane doesn't handle any client experience until something reaches a boiling point. The customer service reps are friendly enough but badly trained, or unorganized, or misinformed. But this is all minor compared to what happened most recently. I moved cities two years ago, and informed State Farm of the address change no less than 5 times through various mediums (phone, email, etc). For two years, they continued to over-charge me several hundred dollars based on my previous address. When I finally got them to correct it, they confirmed to me that this was a mistake and that they had over-charged me, but WOULD NOT REFUND ME THE MONEY. They stated that it was "against company policy to provide gifts to customers due to mistakes". Their position was that returning my own money back to me after they had admitted that I was perpetually overcharged was a "gift". State Farm literally robbed me of hundreds of dollars. After months of disagreement, I gave up and moved on to a new insurance company. I can't even imagine the corruption I would have gone through had I actually needed StateFarm to provide insurance proceeds for damages to my home. Luckily, this never happened. STAY AWAY!! They are thieves. read more

I was recently hit by someone on the fwy and not my fault whatsoever; the SF claims reps are very condescending, unprofessional & extremely accusatory. I pay my bill every month on time & expected this agent to go to bat for me and all I receive for my money is no return phone call after leaving a message last week & no reply to my email when I asked about why my rates went up in one month. Is it a coincidence that as soon as I ask my insurance to help with my claim even though I am not at fault that my rates went up? I think not. There is no follow up by my agent or SF claims dept over the last 2-3 weeks. In conclusion, STAY AWAY from State Farm Insurance. It is not worth your hard-earned money just to be treated like you & the money you pay are not worth anything to State Farm Insurance. And to think I left All State for a better rate, WTF was I thinking! read more

Terrible service liars, don't do anything they say terrible told me I was on the policy and they would send me insurance card... two weeks later I called him again and he said that he would send... two weeks later I called back and the lady told me she could not help me because I had not made my payment. I told her I had and she told me that I must be a dead beat and my check had bounced. I pay with my debit card. Then she told me that I was not on the insurance and they couldn't send me one. If I could put ZERO stars, I would! Absolutely horrible!! They can NEVER get anything right! My monthly payment was constantly changing, they overcharged me on numerous occasions over the last year, double dipped my bank account, could NEVER figure out what was going on or why my account was always jacked up!! It would take over a week for them to refund the overcharged amounts and then would ask me to make a payment over the phone and then would still proceed to auto debit my bank account!! Jane Lee would never step in and handle the issues herself, I would NEVER hear back from her and the 1 time I did speak with her, she was clueless as to what was going on, just like her office staff. She promised to figure out what was going on and then never call back. I was never compensated for their incompetency issues, except for a meaningless apology until they "claimed" they would figure it out, which NEVER happened! read more

Jane and her associates are fabulous. I recently had a claim regarding my truck. Jane spent a great deal of time, personally helping me navigate the claims process and to explain the process in which the adjusters render their payoff. Not only was I amazed with the amount, but with the promptness it was sent. Again, Jane patiently explained in detail the Vehicle Valuation Report. Better yet, she helped explore how I might reduce the costs on my policy, despite the substantial claim.
