Wow! What a great place to relax, study, get some plants, get some cute gifts, or get a warm drink! There is also a fire place in here as well! There are tables and benches outside as well. It is basically a greenhouse that sells lots of garden plants/herbs and a coffee shop/antique/gift store! They have wonderful coffee from our hometown Hillsboro, OR (Long Bottom Coffee!) and the most important thing in a small town with hardly ANY wifi (Internet) places....FREE WIFI!!! PRAISE THE LORD!!. I am a poor college student so I like to frequent coffee places where I can study. I commute to Forest Grove a couple times a week. My wife also works close by. It was such a LARGE BLESSING to find this place! They have lots of tables inside, barstools and a counter, comfy couches and chairs, and very friendly doggies! They also serve delicious pastries, and other drinks. The atmosphere is very homely, welcoming and relaxing. Did I say Peaceful? I also even forgot my laptop cord charger and the owner let me use hers! She is super nice and her name is Jill. This is our new place to come study, hangout, go on dates and to take a relaxing walk through the garden/plant area over one of my Wife's favorite coffee places other than insomnia and stumptown! From what they hear, they might start making and serving their own food too! Hours of operation: Daily! 7a-6p M-F, 9a-6p Sat and 10a-6p on Sunday! The place is just South of the town of Tillamook. It's kinda hidden but if you are going north or south on the Oregon coast highway (101), You will see on your east side a small quickie market called south prairie market. Turn onto south prairie road and after the market (Which is also a gas station!), on your right, you will see Greenhouse Acres with a gravel parking lot. If you go past the S. Prairie elementary school on your left, then you have gone too far! Café Botanica is where the coffee is! I love this place so come check it out. read more

Of all the places to eat lunch on the coast I've never been somewhere where the food tasted this fresh and delicious. I had the turkey and cranberry sauce panini and it was amazing. All the dressings and sauces are made daily and you could definitely tell. Soooo good. The coffee is fab too... Also the atmosphere is so unique and beautiful you'll want to call this place home. I didn't want to leave! The prices are great for what my fiance and I got and I will definitely be returning SOON! Also, free wifi!! Make this place a stop on your way into Tillamook. This place is such a cute little hidden gem, little best kept secret. We stopped by this place on our way to the Tillamook factory and the Portland coast. We decided to sit outside. The view of the neighboring cow farms was great and a very unique experience. The service was great! And the sandwiches, amazing! Perfectly seasoned and quality ingredients! They used the best bread for my sandwich! They did not skimp on the ingredients and definitely not on the drinks either. Very generous portions and they refilled our pitcher of iced tea plenty! This is an absolutely lovely place for lunch and dessert! Somewhat expensive food ($12 simple sandwiches, $7 for a smallish bowl of soup) but everything was delicious and the edible flowers On each dish is a sweet touch. Fun to walk the garden and greenhouses. read more

Friendly atmosphere and cozy environment with great food! It's very vintage farm house style with mason jar cups and cute decor. They also had some local goods scattered around the cafe that were for sale(including an amazing candle that I ended up buying). Overall, great little place to stop for lunch. read more

Hidden indeed, but easy access to 101. You wouldn't expect to find such a fantastic place to dine in while at a greenhouse. Outdoor seating amidst flowers adds to the ambience, and the sandwiches and food are exquisite and again at a level beyond what you'd expect. read more

Thank you so very much for making our 'day after Thanksgiving tea' a smash hit! We typically go to another local tea shop and it was a hard decision to change after ten years. Penny made our tea for 8 just amazing! We had plenty to eat and plenty to take home to the boys!! The food was lovely and so very personal as she explained what everything was. Our original plan was to stop at the Tillamook factory (as always) on our way home from Cannon Beach but it was lunch time so we searched for good restaurants in the area instead. We are so glad we did. Although it was a rainy fall day and it was not the season for visiting the greenhouse, the lunch room was so warm and inviting. Our sandwiches (turkey cranberry and pulled pork) and desserts (Hummingbird cake and chocolate cake) were wonderful. The coffee was fabulous. The food was prepared and served by a lovely group of friendly, helpful women. It was like visiting your favorite aunt and having her lovingly serve you a meal. The ladies and girls of our family always enjoy the day after Thanksgiving together having high tea. This year we had it at Hidden Acres -- it was delightful - everything was A plus....from service to menu. Everyone had a great time - plus shopping in the gift area. If you are going to have a group of five or more, I would suggest calling ahead. Go on line and look at their menu for high tea or the regular menu. I know we will be going back again. It's ok.. The menu was ok, not a large selection but for the location, ok. The seating area is sooooooo pretty, was lovely to sit and enjoy. Sandwich, a odd combo that I was not a fan of. I will go back and see if they change the variety. When I went to the nursery, not much to choose from but maybe I was a season off. Will stop in again in the spring. Definitely stop in, have a look.. again sooooooo pretty to sit and enjoy the gift/decor shop. Nice things.. but you pay for nice. This place is so cute and cozy!!!!! This is a must visit when I am anywhere near Tillamook. They have an awesome nursery, yes, but that's not all! They also have great country/vintage decor, coffee/tea, delicious food, and more. Went for a visit earlier today, and they had more dining tables set-up in the store then I remember, which was great! They even have a cozy couch area near the fireplace!! This time we went in for lunch and we ordered a few veggie wraps (spinach tortilla loaded with veggies and Italian dressing) and the pulled pork sandwich (served with BBQ sauce and potato salad). We also got the soup of the day, which was loaded with meat, black beans, tomatoes, corn, etc. Everything was really fresh and tasty, quick, and the service was great! They even brought out a healthy snack plate (bananas, grapes and cheese) for the kiddos which was amazing. I almost forget to mention that I splurged on a homemade frosted sugar cookie!!!! Lord knows I didn't need it, but who am I kidding, I'm glad I got it!!! read more
