She's always bubbly and brimming with friendliness, and her stories are hilarious. Lexi tells her customers that she measures her business's success by how many homemade brownies she gives away on any given business day. She's a loveable soul! Lexi does a very fine job of maintaining an interesting, varied, and classy array of items for purchase. We've gone home with many memorable keepsakes from her shop over the years. What a fun little thrift store. And the owner is a doll. She's got brownies for everyone and good taste in her music as she had Dianna Krall crooning in the background. I told her that one of the things that kept me in there looking around was how she took the time to organize her items and artistically threw them together to make it easy for your eyes to scan around. She also did not have things all buried but were fairly easy to pick up and hold. Her prices were not too bad either and yes she does haggle. read more

Lexi is super rad and the sweetest and coolest chick in all of Netarts. I'm not gonna lie, but I stuff brownies in my pockets when I come here...because one is just not enough. Lexi has a great eye and has magical finds. She knows her regulars and visitors count on her to find the most interesting treasures around. Her prices are more than fair and even a steal for certain things in my opinion. Upon my recent visit to her store she saw me hemmin and hawing over a cute little dress. I was insecure it wouldn't fit and she insisted it would look great on me. The craftsmanship of the dress was great, so for only $12, I took this gem home and it's my new favorite surfer dress. Checked it out online and was $200 originally. Lexi is honest, bold, creative and runs a fantastic little Netarts must see shop. There is something for everyone here. Just use your imagination....and get a brownie. Just save some for me. I can't wait to stop in every time I'm at this part of the coast. read more

I too was enchanted by a visit to LEX'S COOL STUFF when I road the Oregon Coast on my road bike! It's actually in Netarts - A very secluded Oregon Coast Town. LEX is beautiful and her brownies are the best. I bought a TIKI GOD that was perfect to fit in my bike's pannier pack. LEX made me a sandwich and told me cool stories. Netarts is a sweet little town, worth driving through on your way to/from Cape Meares, also worth the detour off the main road. Lex's was closed when we came by but we stopped and checked out the fantastic display outside the shop. It's all about the fresh home made brownies, the blackberry wine, ALL the fun jewelry, stacks of cute jeans, cheap but fine leather cowboy boots, toys for my daughter to dig through, sweet old school kitchen supplies, just EVERYthing...and Lex. Lex is really the HEART and SOUL of the coast. Somehow this California sunshine gypsy ended up in Netarts and we are BLESSED to have her!! I come out from Portland every so often to revive myself at the beach, and I make it my mission to get to Lex's Cool Stuff. I found this place by accident while staying in Oceanside. Stopped at the grocery store in Netarts and saw this funky shop next door. It was closed, but I looked in the windows and knew I had to come back. So glad I did! Lexie is AWESOME and I fell in love with her beautiful, generous spirit! So I get around- I mean I like to go to tiny remote places as much as I enjoy being in the middle of NYC. Therefore, I like to think that I know a good find when I see one Lex's Cool Stuff is a REALLY good find. We walked in to the old beaten up shop, laced in fishing nets because it had character and it called to me and my shopping companion on a recent trip to the coast. We were not disappointed. We left with a funky wicker shelf - perfect for shoes or hallway organization, a bright yellow glass vase, and a Japanese tapestry all for under $40. But the best part of the visit was talking to Lex. She's a beautiful woman who has lived life to the fullest, and it's worth your time to hang out in the store and learn all about her adventures.
