My wife and I first stumbled upon this diamond in the rough over 10 years ago when we had just begun dating, and we never miss a visit when we're in the area. Let's be honest, the real draw here is Lexi the owner- what a card! Unique as can be, you will never meet another person like her. She's always bubbly and brimming with friendliness, and her stories are hilarious. Lexi tells her customers that she measures her business's success by how many homemade brownies she gives away on any given business day. She's a loveable soul! Lexi does a very fine job of maintaining an interesting, varied, and classy array of items for purchase. We've gone home with many memorable keepsakes from her shop over the years. And the decor won't relinquish your attention, nor will the relaxing jazz invariably playing over her classic antique stereo. I've lived and traveled all over. This is one shop I'll never forget and always go back to...it's special! read more

Stopped in years ago in a road trip. Such a nice person! Just brought up her page to recommend a friend to stop n say high

Lexi was so kind. It was truly a treat stopping by her place. We found some lovely things at great prices. But the best part was how welcoming she was. read more

What a fun little thrift store. And the owner is a doll. She's got brownies for everyone and good taste in her music as she had Dianna Krall crooning in the background. I told her that one of the things that kept me in there looking around was how she took the time to organize her items and artistically threw them together to make it easy for your eyes to scan around. She also did not have things all buried but were fairly easy to pick up and hold. Her prices were not too bad either and yes she does haggle. read more

Lexi is super rad and the sweetest and coolest chick in all of Netarts. I'm not gonna lie, but I stuff brownies in my pockets when I come here...because one is just not enough. Lexi has a great eye and has magical finds. She knows her regulars and visitors count on her to find the most interesting treasures around. Her prices are more than fair and even a steal for certain things in my opinion. Upon my recent visit to her store she saw me hemmin and hawing over a cute little dress. I was insecure it wouldn't fit and she insisted it would look great on me. The craftsmanship of the dress was great, so for only $12, I took this gem home and it's my new favorite surfer dress. Checked it out online and was $200 originally. Lexi is honest, bold, creative and runs a fantastic little Netarts must see shop. There is something for everyone here. Just use your imagination....and get a brownie. Just save some for me. I can't wait to stop in every time I'm at this part of the coast. read more

I too was enchanted by a visit to LEX'S COOL STUFF when I road the Oregon Coast on my road bike! It's actually in Netarts - A very secluded Oregon Coast Town. LEX is beautiful and her brownies are the best. I bought a TIKI GOD that was perfect to fit in my bike's pannier pack. LEX made me a sandwich and told me cool stories. LEX'S COOL STUFF is a must see stop whenver you visit Oregon's North Coast. read more

It is worth it just to walk through all her stuff though we did not find anything. But the stuff is super well priced and you really have to look around since every nook and cranny is filled with different things. read more

Netarts is a sweet little town, worth driving through on your way to/from Cape Meares, also worth the detour off the main road. Lex's was closed when we came by but we stopped and checked out the fantastic display outside the shop. Lex looks like an amazing woman and we're sorry we didn't get to meet her but she made our day anyway. Looking forward to coming back when she's around. read more

On a trip to the coast, COVID era, we stopped by to visit the store based on the great reviews. Sadly, the store was closed due to COVID precautions, but Lex stepped out to say hello and we chatted. Wishing this kind woman ALL the best, stay healthy, and I hope my kids and I get a chance to come back to shop and say hello again. read more

Hands down my FAVORITE 2nd hand store on the planet. It's all about the fresh home made brownies, the blackberry wine, ALL the fun jewelry, stacks of cute jeans, cheap but fine leather cowboy boots, toys for my daughter to dig through, sweet old school kitchen supplies, just EVERYthing...and Lex. Lex is really the HEART and SOUL of the coast. Somehow this California sunshine gypsy ended up in Netarts and we are BLESSED to have her!! I come out from Portland every so often to revive myself at the beach, and I make it my mission to get to Lex's Cool Stuff. It's a place for the whole family (if you can all fit in the tiny shop)!! read more

I've been coming to Lex's regularly for years and there is no place like Lex's Cool Stuff! Lex is the most amazing free spirit and her shop is the perfect reflection of who she is. I never fail to find new accessories and trinkets! read more

Woot! One of the coolest little spots in Northern Oregon - run by the very cool Ms. Lexie! Thump and I showed up on a foggy late-fall afternoon just as she pulled in from a post-rummage inland and helped her unload the trunk of her car. Even Lexie's yard is filled with neat treasures. Always a hand-spun brownie to be had while you browse, and always at least one whimsical find to fuel your imagination. You can't say you've been to Northern Oregon without visiting Ms. Lexie's shop - iconic! read more

Don't drive by. Stop!! Eclectic mix of stuff, free homemade brownies and a super friendly owner who will tell you her life story. Which is fun! read more

It started with just one batch of brownies and now it takes eight to get through the day... Come for the experience not necessarily the shopping. Lexie will brighten your day and you can't leave without a homemade brownie (which the husbands said were fabulous) defiantly stop by if you are in town. read more

This place is a gem! Lex is amazing. The brownies she makes are stellar. And the way all of the random "stuff" is organized is impressive (as well as the random knick-knacks, some of which make you feel like your going back in time) Definitely worth the stop, you won't regret it! read more

Every time I visit my folks in Oceanisde, I stop at Lex's Cool Stuff. I always buy something...usually many things. I found a wonderful hanging 70's lamp that would have cost 10 times as much in San Francisco. Lex is very fun and always has new treasures. Michele Rundgren, Kauai read more

I found this place by accident while staying in Oceanside. Stopped at the grocery store in Netarts and saw this funky shop next door. It was closed, but I looked in the windows and knew I had to come back. So glad I did! Lexie is AWESOME and I fell in love with her beautiful, generous spirit! She gives away free brownies that are scrumptious, and it's amazing how much time you can spend in her little two room shop, just knowing you're going to find some treasures. Diana Krall music is so listenable and just being in the place is a soothing meditation. I'm taking some stuff to donate, because this awesome spirit deserves our gifts! read more

Lexie is a doll. This shop is absolutely worth a stop. Even if it's just to see her! She also has complimentary brownies for her guests. Her items are definitely well priced and she has a great selection of second hand items. Thank you Lexie! read more

amazing business with an amazing owner. the most unique and eclectic trinkets and jewelry! i didn't even buy anything as i didn't bring my wallet and was offered a homemade brownie by lexi! truly such a genuine and lovely person i am so glad to have had the opportunity to meet her. you really don't see businesses like this anymore, one of my favorite interactions with a stranger, i got to shake her hand and left feeling like a stranger no more. lexi is such a cool person with an amazing personality which absolutely is reflected in her business, this spot is truly unique and i hope to return either to buy some of her lovely jewelry or simply just to talk with her again. cannot stress it enough this place is unlike any other store or attraction in the area. one of the most genuine people i've gotten to meet in my life. so grateful people like this still exist in the world. thank you for being nothing but yourself lex, it was lovely meeting you (: read more

Very fun and interesting little shop. Then we met Lex, very fun and interesting lady. She gave us chocolate to nibble on while we drank our wine and watched the sunset. Bought a ginger jar, which will remind me of the awesome weekend I spent with my husband on the Oregon Coast. Thanks Lex! read more

So I get around- I mean I like to go to tiny remote places as much as I enjoy being in the middle of NYC. Therefore, I like to think that I know a good find when I see one Lex's Cool Stuff is a REALLY good find. We walked in to the old beaten up shop, laced in fishing nets because it had character and it called to me and my shopping companion on a recent trip to the coast. We were not disappointed. We left with a funky wicker shelf - perfect for shoes or hallway organization, a bright yellow glass vase, and a Japanese tapestry all for under $40. But the best part of the visit was talking to Lex. She's a beautiful woman who has lived life to the fullest, and it's worth your time to hang out in the store and learn all about her adventures. I'm not going to ruin it by telling you about them, suffice it to say you'll walk out with a complementary home baked brownie and a new sense of wonder. GO- it's worth it! read more

My husband and I stumbled upon Lex and all of her cool stuff before we were married.... We were packing through Oregon, flying by the seat of our pants. No plans, no appointments, no reservations! Lex's store was a blast as was Lex herself! Her laid back style is reflected in her store, the way it's set up and all the fascinating things you'll find there. Get a brownie, buy something for yourself or a friend and the good vibes will follow! In fact the good vibes are so potent... My now husband asked me to marry him on the beach just a stone's throw from Lex's!! Go! It's worth it~ read more

Best shopping experience I've ever had! From the outside Lex's cool stuff looked questionable but decided to check it out anyway. Inside we found the most unique collection of fun things. Lex is totally hospitable. She offered a classy touch from beginning to end. I especially liked the way she wrapped up the gangster bling necklace I bought. The next time I visit the Oregon Coast I will certainly make time to visit this store again! read more
