We took the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad from Rockaway Beach with a group of friends. It stops in Wheeler for about 45 minutes before heading back to Rockaway Beach. This antiques mall was the perfect place to spend that 45 minutes! They have a nice variety of antiques. It's much bigger inside than it looks from the outside. There's many different areas and rooms filled with all sorts of antiques. There's even an area with handmade jewelry and cards for purchase. Pricing on items were a little high for me, but I don't frequent antique stores. Our only gripe was the lady at the front desk. She wasn't very friendly or helpful. She wasn't receptive in answering questions about a few of the items on display. She seemed put out. Overall I would recommend stopping in just to see the large variety of items. Hopefully the not-so-friendly experience was a one off. read more

Located right on Highway 101 with parking right in front of the building. This is a pretty decent sized "mall". There is currently a bunch of sales happening and there is a room full of Christmas stuff that is 75%. The layout is a bit out of sorts as it is easy to get turned around inside and also the front of the store was a lot more empty than the rest of the space. There was however a great variety of inventory with interesting things to look at. The prices seemed very appropriate for the items. We ended up finding four different Royal Haeger pieces (two were damaged and sold at a lower price). Three of the four pieces each came from a totally different vendor but all matched and were Royal Haeger Mauve Agate pieces. The staff had a bit of confusion as to which of our pieces to discount and the wrapping process of the items left something to be desired as a piece that is well over 80 years was clanked down on the glass display case. There little to no heat inside and some areas of the store were not lit. You will definitely want to bundle up to look around in here. read more

What a lovely little treasure in Wheeler, Oregon! I'm a connoisseur of antique stores... heck knows I have visited enough of them in my life time! This one is no exception to the exceptional antique stores in America! Lovely staff, great selection, and good lord have mercy... HUGE. This store does not end! It keeps going and going and going. Three different stories, keep digging, you'll find more. This place is massive. Prices are fair, staff was helpful... they were a little stern on closing right on time but I can understand that! Lots of awesome stuff in here.... But there were leaks everywhere and the building is FREEZING. The old ladies at the front desk were rude from the moment we walked in. There's no public bathroom you have to walk way across the street to use a bathroom. I found a item upstairs to add to my collection and they wouldn't let me buy it because it wasn't priced even though I told them what booth I found it in. Overall I probably won't give them my business again. I feel bad for the people who put their stuff in booths there, if they only knew how people were running the place. read more

Unfortunately, like many coastal businesses, this antique shop has seen better days. This is at least an annual visit in our antiquing excursions for my sisters and I but this year's visit to Wheeler for antiquing was a pretty bleak experience. The selling point with this store in particular is that it's huge and you could spend hours getting lost in there looking at all there is to see. It could be an antiquer's dream. Unfortunately, if you have to use the restroom in those hours spent shopping in the store, you'll be turned away to the fisherman's outhouses across the street that are not maintained, clean or in working order. After being told that was our only option, our group decided to cut our antiquing trip short and drive back to our home a little disheartened by the experience. read more

Next stop! Memory Lane! I swear the older I get the more that these places are just a reflection of my past, and not antiques because I'm certainly not one! It is rather alarming though when you recognize more and more items as years go by. This place is a total treasure hunt because there are so many rooms it's hard to even navigate through and around all of them. It's not cluttered in the sense that you have to pick through items on top of each other. At the same time the place is packed solid with anything you could want if you are looking for Aunt Cami's clock, Uncle Theo's military hat, your cousin's bric-a-brac pink horse with diamond studded eyes. This store is much bigger on the inside than it appears on the outside. If you are traveling on the Hwy you may miss it so slow up as you get closer. One of the best stocked stores I have seen in a while. So many areas to check out. I am still thinking of the hand painted see through bone China teacup I left behind. I don't know much about antique but it looked special. I didn't want to risk breaking it while on travel. Hope you find that special something. read more

Another epic antique shop in Wheeler. This place is huge and seems to have room after endless room of treasures from decades past. I even saw a telephone car toy I had when I was a toddler in their toy room and instantly felt a jab of nostalgia. You could spend hours here just looking over stuff and walking down memory-lane. This is a veritable wonderland of antiques and vintage items with a labyrinth of rooms. if you're a collector, this is a "must". Such a great little -- actually, surprisingly big! -- antique shop! We stopped in on impulse during a stop on our road trip and I was pleasantly surprised! There is so much in this spot, you could spend hours. We didn't have a lot of time to spare, but luckily we found a perfect gift for a friend almost right away. The women who worked there (and a local who popped in) were so sweet and funny! I will definitely be back for a visit when we stay at the Old Wheeler Hotel next time we're in town. read more

Massive antique store in little Wheeler, Oregon. It's really fun to get lost in here, and you really do as it's really maze-like in the store. A huge assortment of antique/vintage treasures and so far we are 2 for 2 at buying something upon visiting. The first time we snagged a great oil painting for a mere $60, and more recently I found a cute jar that is the perfect size to hold sugar. Prices are perhaps a bit higher than other antique malls that I've visited, but I think the quality here is quite good and it's worth the stop for how much there is to see. We'll be back! read more

Jan 1 2017 --everytime we come to the Oregon coast esp to Cannon Beach area we drive down to this antique mall like store. It is so unique, love the many side rooms, nooks, old creaky floors, tons and tons to look at. Prices are a bit steep in our opinion but you get to see tons of stuff, nicely laid out and displayed. Easy to spend a couple hours in here. Have fun :) read more

Wheeler Station is my annual pilgrimage destination. We celebrate our annual family reunion in Rockaway Beach on the 4th of July and the trip is not complete until we go to WS. I don't always find stuff I want, but I enjoy browsing all the cool stuff. This year I found the PERFECT present for my daughter's anniversary when I wasn't even looking! This year I even found two spice racks for my collection. Good collecting year. I also love their antiques that are reasonably priced. I can't wait to go back next year. read more
