Very disappointing experience with All My Sons Moving…read more Our move was scheduled for 9:00 AM, and we planned our entire day around that timeframe, including coordinating other people and vendors. Unfortunately, due to a staffing issue on All My Sons' end, the movers did not arrive until approximately 3:00 PM -- a six-hour delay. To be clear, I do not blame the movers who eventually came out. They were put in a difficult situation and did their best under the circumstances. My issue is with how All My Sons handled the situation and the lack of accountability for the significant disruption it caused. A six-hour delay is not a minor inconvenience when you have an entire move and other services scheduled around a specific start time. The delay disrupted our day and resulted in additional unexpected labor costs that we had to absorb. After the move, I emailed All My Sons to explain the situation and requested that management review what happened and consider some type of compensation or adjustment to our bill. I have received no response. Things happen, and I understand that unexpected staffing issues can occur. What is disappointing is that we were left to absorb the consequences of a six-hour delay caused by their staffing issue, and then our concerns were completely ignored when we reached out afterward. Based on our experience, I would expect much better communication, accountability, and customer service from a professional moving company.
