She was nice though and when I went to pick up the food she had apologize for the delay Menu/food: Love my hakka food and this was good, but definitely on the spicy side. Really wish we could have had different spicy levels as I ordered three dishes and all three were at least a spice level 4/5. I ordered a beef, chicken, and fish and they were all delish! Cooked to perfection. Overall: Definitely recommend swinging by this place. The dishes were decently priced as well. Roughly 10-12 a dish and it comes with rice :)

Kung Pao chicken-also very soggy but not as bad as the beef. Had OK flavour but the texture was very chewy, very unappealing. Fried chicken wontons-the only bright spot. Crispy, but little flavour to the meat, and not hot. Schezuan chicken chow mein-the only flavour is "spice". No actual taste to the dish. Mixed veggies-hard to screw this up so won't give them any credit for this, but even the broccoli here was overcooked. Even the white rice that I didn't order that they provided was extremely wet and sticky, almost to the point of being sushi rice. Wanna know why they haven't opened their dine in area after COVID? Because they would have a never ending line of complaining customers in the restaurant refusing to pay for their meals.

Tucked away in a plaza with a kfc, I would truly consider this a hidden gem. We have never gone wrong with ordering their chili chicken with extra gravy. It's saucy and hot and just punches the mouth with flavor. It can come in a combo with fried rice, but I highly recommend getting the chicken masala fried rice for an elevated experience. The manchurian beef is also a reliable choice. Finally, my favorite treat is the chili fried fish. The fillets are crispy on the outside, and so tender on the inside. The seasoning on the fish is just perfect. The prices are a bit high for takeout, but the portions are massive. We always have leftovers. Online ordering is also available - great for those afraid to call!

We ordered the Special Fried Chicken, Chilli Chicken (with gravy), Sweet & Sour Chicken, Manchurian Beef, as well as mixed Chow Mein and mixed Fried Rice. Wow! The food is moist, the chicken and beef pieces are tender, juicy, and flavourful. The rice and noodles were excellent. Portion sizes are huge and they don't skimp on meat or seasoning at all! What makes the flavour special is that it tastes much more AUTHENTIC and less commercial than other Hakka places. I could taste the East Asian influences and it was SPECTACULAR! This is my new favourite Hakka place. I'm going here ALL THE TIME now! 5 out of 5 stars!

While in the area we decided to stop by with family to see how it now stands up to 100s new Hakka restaurants. The owners have changed for sure since then. Our taste buds have evolved and the competitors are feeding us dishes that are more amplified than the ones we got here. Our favourite Manchurian Pakorra in gravy was OK. Not bad, but the pakoras were to big and just doughy. The gravy again OK. The Tofu Chilli not hugely spicy and felt under seasoned to us. The Fried Rice was again very plain. For those who have followed my Hakka food adventures, I tend to get chilli chicken with rice at any new Hakka eatery. It helps me gauge how yummy I feel each eatery's food is. I used to get spicy garlic chicken as my default, but how this dish is made varies from eatery to eatery. When it's made with bell peppers and onions, count me out. Those ingredients are too fancy for me. I saw spicy garlic chicken on the menu. No, Mary, do not get it. Stick with your usual chilli chicken with rice first. I looked at the graphic. It had chopped garlic, green onions, breaded chicken, all in sauce. It's exactly how I like it. I ignored that voice to get chilli chicken and went for spicy garlic chicken. This dish came with steamed rice. I also got a canned Diet Coke. It didn't take long for me to get to this eatery. It's located at Parkway Mall, next door to CoCo Fresh Tea and Juice. I tend to park in the lot across from Gabby's. I can always find a spot there. I backed into a spot and walked over. This eatery has lunch specials. They looked good. I walked in. The seating area looked relaxed and nice. I headed to the counter and showed my Uber Eats order. It was ready. Yay! I thanked the woman and left with my bagged bundle of food. I stopped at CoCo to get some bubble tea before driving home. I was excited to give my food a try. My car smelled so good. I was tempted to pull over and eat my dinner. I had some self-control and got myself home before I tore into my food. My favourite spicy garlic chicken is at Royal Jasmine. I don't go there as often as I used to, simply because it's close to my workplace and I am still working remotely. The spicy garlic chicken here is now my second-favourite place. There was lots of chopped garlic. The gravy was perfect. The spicy level was all good in my books. This dish had green onions that I enjoyed. The chicken was lightly breaded and delicious. The steamed rice was the perfect portion for me. It helped dumb down some of the spiciness as I ate. My can of Diet Coke hit the spot. It was still cold when I cracked it open. It complemented my food nicely. I now want to get chilli chicken from this place and see how I feel. I loved my food. I'll be back for moe. (370)

Instead, the server became visibly confused, lost her composure, and started yelling for no reason whatsoever. Paying customers deserve clarity and respect, not an outburst over a simple menu question.
